Both my children were hired there only to find out that the managers and the district manager only work the people they want to work so their friends basically get all the hours these people are extremely unprofessional. They actually have a text chain for the employees. After reading how they speak to their employees that are begging for hours I will never step foot in another Dollar General or recommend one again. Not to mention that the Company itself has been fined over 21 million dollars violating OSHA for unsafe conditions by the Department of Labor for their employees over a course of five years. Their reasoning for the unsafe conditions is a shortage of employees, yet they refuse to give hours to the employees that need them. If anything they are cutting hours to keep from paying those people. They are violating on many levels!

It was horrible like 5 days ago i went to go buy balloons and they were with no helium and this lady said that you have to buy the helium for two dollars and she said that it would be like six dollars and she yelled at me and the should take this shop down and BADDDDD customer service

I have noticed the only water that they have put on the shelves is water that is distilled. Distilled water has a very bitter taste and is better for cooking. A few gallons of water that they sell is also distilled. My household in this neighborhood has to use bottled water for pretty much everything. I'm sure I'm not the only one.The other thing I noticed on 4th of July I stopped to buy ice and noticed you raised the price of your ice by a dollar for the holiday.I do like Dollar General, but you really have to find the right location to enjoy the good prices. This is not one of them. This was on the 5000 block of us 92 in Dover.

Horrible experience.I stop here at least once a day for snacks and to use the bathroom throughout the day but when I stopped today they told me I can't use the bathroom even though I had planned to buy something. They said they can only let customers use the bathroom even tho I was already a customer.How much of a customer must I be in order for the management to decide that I don't have to have explosive diarrhea in my pants?

The store is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.However, don't go in the morning or afternoon when people turn the parking lot into a school drop-off and pickup hangout.Parents take all the parking spots and any others left open are occupied by teens standing in them unwilling to move out of the way.I have been cussed out and threatened multiple times by both parents and kids for merely trying to park and go into the store after asking nicely for them to please move.Other customers have had similar issues and at times it's gotten out of control where police had to be involved.The staff has done what they can but of course there's nothing that can be done even when there's signs up. .Apparently, according to the store (based on what local law enforcement has told them) it's up to the parents to make their kids not do this?

If I could give them less than a one-star I would.! My family had an emergency yesterday. I went to Dollar General in Seffner as a customer. I left the store when I got to my vehicle it would not start Due to the battery turminals being broken. At the same time...My son who was on dialysis was needing to go to the emergency room. I had a friend come pick me up. I took my son to the emergency room stayed with him and they ended up admitting him. I went back to Dollar General that evening the car was still there but I did not have time to get the the battery terminal connectors I needed to get. So Reef Towing have the contract with Dollar General and they towed my vehicle so now I cannot pick my son up from the emergency room and I have to pay $283 to get my car back. So take your chances shopping at Dollar General. I wish I never would have pulled in to their store.

Wow! I was just turned away from Dollar General in Seffner FL because the truck had to come in. I'm sitting in parking lot right now as truck maneuvers in the parking lot, and from what i can tell...not affecting what's going on in the store at all. Which is good...otherwise it would be on the news. Outright denied entry at the door! 3pm on a Monday afternoon...terrible

Dollar General has always been that, dependable local store you can usually run in and out of for almost anything your looking for.. Excellent prices,with friendly employees always eager to help.. They seem to be able to serve and help just about anyone,with big aisle's, with usually well kept restroom and stores just one stall type deals for the potty.Handicap parking and ramp accessible . Absolutely love the$1 aisle, Good Stuff on there...

the store is great. its a new store pretty stocked up. only problem the public thinks its parking is a landfill. the staff does a good job at keeping up, but people just have no respect.

1st day of opening found all that I could find that I needed. The man named James that looks like a Mgr or a store employee assisted all of us to get things off the top shelves & answer any questions we customers had. Thank you all for being a new store here in Seffner. I look forward shopping here again. The aisles were clean, shelves completely stocked. More trucks will be here in the wk w/more items. I gave this Dollar General Store #20679 a 5 🌟 rating.

Clean, lots of variety.It was "truck day" so the aisles were extremely crowded, and difficult to navigate.Morgan was above and beyond helpful and agreed to try to stock diet orange soda.

This is a brand new store, but is stocked better than any other. I found exactly what I needed and then found something that I had been wanting (and at a very good price) displayed right by the exit door. Praise God!

Very convenient, love the refrigerator section. You can get last minute items. I shopped there tonight for gardening products. They have everything.

Will not go back to the one on Hwy 92 and Pine St. in Seffner, Fl. There was a sign on the door must wear masks. The clerk was not wearing a mask. There was a soda distributor in the store with no mask. Ran into 2 customers, 1 with a mask, 1 without. Very cluttered and no way to practice social distancing.
