This Sebring store is an amazing store. The employees have always been very helpful when i go in to purchase my scalebabies thier food. My last visit the store manager and fish manager was busy with fish stuff, but once they seen me the store manager came right to me and asked if i needed help. Which i did, but didnt want to inturrup them. After catching my 2 dozen crickets, he even went out of his way to check me out. Even asked if i had a cat and gave me some free cat food samples for my furbabies. (He gave me extra crickets :) and said they like to give a little extra just incase of them dying in transpertation!) I was more than happy with my experience and will always continue to do my business here with them!!! Totally recommend this amazing atmosphere!!!

Awesome store!!! Staff was super helpful and friendly. Picked up 8 live aquatic plants..healthiest I’ve ever seen in a store. Not to mention though the betta fish were in small cups they were all very healthy looking. My new go to store for all of my fish tank needs!!

Sold diseased fishI bought 6 guppies and three of them died within three days. They had cotton mouth which is a highly contagious fungus. They were nice and gave me a refund for all the fish, but the treatment I bought there costed as much as the fish refund (which are half dead and all diseased). They said they were treating the tanks and taking care of it. Just disappointed because I paid money just to watch them die miserably. And now I have to disinfectant all of my tanks. The treatment is a huge hassle and I don't understand why I had to pay for it when THEY sold me the diseased fish but whatever.

They always have a great selection of fish, and will special order any aquatic life they are able to at your request. Very cool store I come here all the time just to see what they have in stock.

We found the type of specialty dog food we needed. The staff did not offer any assistance. The only cashier walked away from the register while people were waiting in line. Good product selection. Very poor customer service. I might order on line for delivery. I doubt I will return to the actual store.

Power Smart is great, I check in there they have great doggo snacks, my dog absolutely loves them and let me just say the gentleman that works there he is such a peach always nice and pleasant helpful full of tips and it's convenient place to even see the veterinarians there for quick check up grooming etc. see for yourself and don't forget the snacks or your doggo will be puttin you in the dog house

My kids and I enjoyed visiting the Pet Supermarket store in Sebring! Im a traveler from out of town and the staff were helpful and super-friendly!! We were able to get supplies for our pet away from home!Thanks! Great Service!!

What they don't have, they'll try their best to get for you and your pet/s.Three months ago we rescued a pup from Highlands Rescue Center (great people). But much of what we needed to undertake this adventure was left behind, a few states away.Not to fear, Pet Supermarket is here!And after several visits I'm wishing there was a Pet Supermarket closer to our house back home. (Pick the state, there needs to be more!)What I'm curious about is why other places explain that they cannot hire and keep good help in these times, but Pet Supermarket always has the greatest people to help. They care. And they are very knowledgeable about their products, your pets, and repeat customers.Ask them a question. Try to stump them. If they don't know (not an opinion, but really have first hand knowledge), they'll find out. Either by asking another employee or by looking it up on their computer.Some of our problem was a tough-to-fit, growing pup. They worked hard to solve the issues.And when I had questions about the right food for our dog, they asked me questions so we could match the diet with the need.If I had a complaint it would be about miniscule inventory issues. But in these days, where is that not an issue? At Pet Supermarket they work hard to stock the shelves and to minimize unfulfilled needs. In one case, an employee related the expected schedule and invited me to call ahead. With patience by all, problems solved.5 🌟s

Our bearded dragon Reo appreciates Our local Pet Supermarket and the fact that they are the only store that carries fresh and healthy live horn worms and live Discoid Roaches in our county. The other store's stock of horn worms are rarely healthy or edible and many times filled with small white maggot type worm things.Pet supermarket is clean and organized, well stocked and the staff is always quick to help us find whatever Pet supplies we need.Today we purchased 2 cups of horn worms that are so beautiful, healthy and active.

I am a fairly regular customer, and lately I've had the same annoying experiences, today I left merchandise sitting there and walked out... I don't feel it's mine or anyone elses responsibility to LOOK for help. Instead of cleaning cages and messing with the birds and other animals y'all should maybe assist the customers UNLESS we can get our own fish, which I would be ok with. Not sure what's being done before the doors open, but apparently it's NOT getting the store ready.

I go to buy fish and the check if anyone has ordered it.but if I order fish they sell them that day. After they called me to come pick up my fish order of course.

Service was terrible... There was no one around to help me until I was reaching up to get something off of a top shelf. Finally they seen me and said they would help me.. So I'm thinking everything is great as I continued to pick up a couple more items. Until I reached the register... There had been two employees up front and again I think it's great and I'll check out and be on my way. That was soon dashed as the girl who was helping another customer then followed her to the back which was fine but the other employee that was up front went with them leaving me standing with no one to check me out. Had I not needed a couple things I would of walked out then and there! If they would of said oh I'll be right back to check you out that would of been one thing. I don't mind waiting a couple of minutes. However, it was several more minutes. Another customer got behind me in line and asked if me if anyone was up there and I told her no. So she backed up and finally got their attention. The other customer said there was two of us. So finally someone came up to check us out. Sadly for me I think all is good finally until he began to scan my purchases. When the same two items didn't have a price tag on them. I told him they were $1.50 each he said he had to still scan them. So he goes down the aisle and can't find them.. At this time there are four people in line behind me. So I said "bottom shelf" I guess I didn't say it loud enough so the nice customer lady behind me had repeated me bottom shelf, and so did a tall gentleman customer also standing in line. Finally the employee heard everyone and finally found the items. The customers behind me were my blessing that day! I don't even want anyone to get in trouble. More training possibly.. For them to have a general idea of items they sell maybe.. For them to be more efficient Most Definitely! It will be a while before I go back to that store.

Dead critters making their own layer at the bottom of the tanks. This can cause your own pets to get sick off the bacteria. Way to go guys!

The staff here are very friendly. They have a good selection of freshwater fish and freshwater plants. They have a great selection of dog and cat food and treats and toys. They also have birds and reptiles as well as some other small pets. Occasionally they have some cats for adoption. This is the best pet shop in the area.

There were not prices for the dog food I selected. I had to carry the bags to the cashier. Once I got the prices, I asked the cashier to help me to get the larger bag, since there were no other customers waiting. She returned 5 minutes later without the bag and send me back to get it because she didn't see the flavor I have picked.. She proceeded in helping other customers at the register. So I left and I went to Walmart.

Oh oh oh so excited!!!! Store was clean, staff were friendly, animals were actively being cared for, there is a pretty large selection for most animals. I do wish they would bump up their reptile needs inventory but maybe with time. I'm super glad to have a f/t mouse / rat provider in town. Saves me 2 hours of driving every week!!!

We went to get a fish companion for my pet Beta. The fish were more affordable than the other pet store in town. They have alot to choose from, and the staff was very knowledgeable about what could be put with a beta. Looked like they had great selection of other pet accessories here too. I saw they had cats, and rabbits as well. I didn't see any puppies. They did have pet food for about any kind of pet. I would recommend this place 👌

Pros: Good quality products ranging from very affordable to fairly pricey, something for every budget. Cons: frequently short staffed, lots of times difficult to find someone to help us as in no visible employees on the floor other than 1 person behind a register with several people in line. Very hit or miss regarding pets. Never have dogs, rarely have cats. Sometimes a few reptiles, sometimes none. There's no consistency at all. Several times we've called ahead of time to see if they have mice, rats or crickets in stock before we drive 30 minutes to get to the store & can't get anyone to answer the phone, then arrive after a 30 minute commute & discover they have none of them in stock. Obviously we will continue to do business here but only because we have only 2 choices of pet stores within a 40 mile radius
