I took my great Neice and her best friend. They shared the big bucket. I mined the basic bucket.We were constantly surprised by the quantity and size of the polished gemstones and crystals!Steve helped the girls pick out perfect geodes and later gifted my Neice one for her birthday!!We even got some starfruit to take home.There are so many fun things to look at on this property!!!We are making this an annual event!!Thanks to Steve and his staff!

Great shop and awesome ‘mining’ experience! We got the large bucket of natural/rough gemstones and were amazed with our finds! I’ve found gemstone mining to be a popular tourist attraction in many places but this was on another level! Highly recommend

This place is so interesting and super fun! We went for my son's birthday and the owner was such a nice man, he made my little boy's birthday special with a special gem just for him. It is so fun and the amount that you get for the money is worth it! 10/10 recommend!! Great for adults too :)

Oddball curio pottery store off US 27 in Highlands County, Florida. We've stopped off there many a time, and my wife often leaves with something for the outside patio area 🙂

This is a pleasant place with many things to buy. Also you can mine gem stones from buckets of dirt. Plenty of Pottery and statues as well. Gift shop is loaded with many types of items, everything is at reasonable prices. There is a vast amount of items on property. Fun environment for families. Enjoy your visit

This place is fantastic! So many beautiful crystals, incense sticks, and a huge selection of colorful yard ornaments and bird baths and plant pots. Such a wonderful place — can spend at least an hour here roaming around all the fun things they have inside and outside

This turned out to be one of the most fun things I’ve done with my kids- even better than we expected! There are so many jewels and stones to find- pretty much with every scoop, so the kids never got bored or frustrated. We found polished stones, and also some uncut rubies and emeralds. The staff was so helpful and friendly and helped us identify our gems with a black light after we were finished. They have a great gift shop as well, full of unique gifts and jewelry. It was a long drive from us but 100% worth it and we will definitely go back again soon.

Steve represented this place perfectly. Kind generous to the 🎈 Birthday girl and mom. Educated the girls on geos was very welcoming . Worth the 2 and half hour trip! Prices were under what metro areas are asking for most items. Mining Bags- polished and raw were well worth their price for sure 😄 Thankyou L.M.A. for making our Sunday a beautiful one we will remember to only get crystals from you!

I’m the area visiting my dad and saw this place on our way to dinner. The giant Bigfoot drew me in. I had to stop. By far the largest selection of Mexican Talavera pottery I’ve ever seen. So many unique and colorful metal sculptures made in Mexico. Prices are reasonable. Staff was friendly and helpful. I’m regretting flying down. If I had drove, my car would be full of beautiful stuff. The indoor shop has sooo many stones and crystals. I did find an awesome cat I can fit safely in my suitcase, so I didn’t leave empty handed.

Lost Mines of Atlantis is a magical place. My family took a trip there today and got to mine our own gemstones and it was such an awesome experience! The employees all were so kind, knowledgeable and pleasant to be around. I highly recommend this place especially if you're a gemstone lover, I've never seen such great prices and such quality pieces, can't wait to go back!

Grandkids came down granddaughter is interested in crystals this was the place! They enjoyed the sluice even my son and daughter in law got in on the action finding sharks teeth. Place looks like a tourist spot but well worth the visit! And did I mention their inventory on the inside of the store very nice!!

This store has a little bit for everyone. the pottery looks like most of it's from Mexico. So very nice and there is a wide variety of items. we just wish we had a bigger vehicle to put some of it in.

Great place, very nice and friendly people. Not the gem mines of NC, but it was a fun day trip. The gift shop (Green Man Curio Shop) was out of this world! I think they had a little of everything you could ever imagine.

We decided to check this place out as a surprise for my son's birthday. He's paraplegic and I messaged ahead to see if they had accessible area. They were very quick to respond. We had an amazing time. My husband and myself shared a large bucket of raw stones and our son had his own 2.5 gal bucket. Within 15 minutes we were finding amazing gem stones. The owner also gave my son a fossil bag for his birthday. Steve was so very kind. He was identifying gems and fossils for us. My son even found 3 big arrow heads. I highly recommend this place for family outing, day date or just to relax. The gift shop is full of so many awesome things and the prices are incredible. We are sure to go many many more times!!!!!

This is a magical place to come too. We got to mine buckets and got geodes and fossils. Wow just wow. They have a vast variety of stones, gems, artifacts, geodes, and I didn't even get to see everything. The kids loved it. The wife and I loved it. This place left such a great impact of positive energy with us that we will be coming back. The owners are the best and the staff was the best. I wish I can rate 10 stars.
