From what I gathered from talking to the friendly and helpful staff, Food For Thought recently moved into a larger space. There's a large selection of vitamins and supplements as well as sections for food that would be harder to find in the Sebring area (vegan and/or gluten free snacks, bulk grains, nutritional yeast, etc). I really appreciate having a store like this locally!

Customer service seems to be at an all time low but I would expect better hospitality from a health food store. I go to the health food store because I’m happy, I love life and care much about my health. This place always feels like a morgue. There is no joy or pleasure in the people running this establishment. All questions seem like a burden and I never see a smile or receive a greeting when I come in. With everything going online I would think small businesses would do their best to make their business a pleasurable experience.

Friendly and helpful staff. Always find my favorite gluten-free cassava pasta, raw goat cheese and muffins. Would appreciate if you’d carry blueberry muffins long with the carrot & raisin variety you already sell. Excellent variety available.

Please start carrying Pella Mushroom coffee 4.8 oz. It looks like you're downsizing on the coffee choices and I couldn't find the machine that grinds the beans any longer? That's so sad that was such a wonderful addition to the store being able to grind your own beans but please consider the Pella mushroom coffee😋 It's sold out of a lot of places online. It would be a monthlysale for me. I love this coffeegreat.Thank you

Woah this place is overpriced. I’m new in town and ran out of my daily supplements and checked to see if I could get them locally but was shocked to see my supplements selling for more than twice the online price. They also don’t offer a satisfaction guarantee like online VitaCost or Amazon. Heck even Walmart offers 90 days on all their items. Thanks but no thanks, next time I’ll wait a few days to get them online.

Terrific health food store with many food items you don’t find at the big grocery stores. An oasis for me as a gluten and lactose intolerant person. Lots of items to choose from as well as vitamins, and other natural products for skin and hair.

I love this store! Amazing customer service that goes the extra step with assistance if needed. The CBD room has many options to choose from gummies to creams. The 20% discount once a month is a huge perk as well! Hometown store to love!

I have been to Food for Thought for many years and have seen the changes and expansion of the business to include much more fresh food, frozen food, water purifying/filtration, cosmetics, bulk grains & beans etc., organic wines, and the juice/smoothie bar. Prices are like those at any HFS in the state. Many good things to say for the store and service. Staff is always very helpful. I appreciate having a really good healthy store to shop in.

Over priced. Not many discounts. Cheaper to order supplements and organic personal care products online. Even Whole Foods is cheaper when they have their prime days. It would be nice to have a Larger grocery selection.

Recently added a dry bulk section! Has a good selection of organic and other foods including gluten free frozen products. Good vitamin & supplement sections. Staff is excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable --- an oasis in Highlands County .... wishes there was an organic produce co-op in or around Sebring but Food For Thought does save me a trip to Whole Foods for nearly everything but the fresh produce.

Yesterday, the sales woman didn't understand the product that I wanted or what is was for but continued to try to tell me what was wrong with me by a regular run down of issues. Guessing at every turn, she was a real turn off. To make matters worse, when I finally got away, she talked badly about me to my BF. Then, when I rejoined the group to grab him for checkout-she continued her up sale sales blitz. My BF is really kind and will listen forever. I had things to accomplish and this overbearing sales woman has ruined my desire to go back to that store, which we have been patronizing under the radar of not being attacked by aggressive sales. I hope she can reach the idea that just because she has a bunch of info in her head doesn't mean the customer doesn't, either. If she backed off instead of continuously trying to lock horns with me, it would have had a nicer ending for both of us. I'll avoid the place and order from the internet when I was trying to spend money, locally.
