Had the worst experience here. Wasn't a poor employee it was the business model. The only help they had was picking orders. They are no longer a retail store with decent service. They are operating a warehouse. 5 teammates were asked to get help to the ammo counter. No one showed up, no one cared. Unreal.

I recently went to customer service and had a really great experience. Her name is Jessika but spelled differently. I don’t remember how to spell it, but her and the managers on staff were absolutely helpful and very detailed and thorough. I appreciate the better experience.They lack badly cashiers at the registers so it’s inconvenient but I mainly just come for money services and have had a good experience with them

Recent remodel leaves customers hunting for items and prolonging visits. Prices are not going down. But selection, value, quantities, and volumes are definitely going down. Smaller items for higher prices. I understand that this is the economy. But the purchasing power of Walmart should not have fallen prey as quickly and for as long and for as high as they've done. Got to the cash register and heard employees talking about how they've been asked to help find items and cannot because they also do not know where they are. It was bad enough that the clear American sparkling water went from 54 cents to 78 cents.. an increase of 49% but now they're even not carrying that. And to go as far as to switch 2 sections simply to make them on opposite sides of the area makes no sense. Congratulations, you did away with a lot of the self-checkouts. My cashier never even said hello to me. She was busy talking about her break schedule with her manager. Looks like Publix is going to gain me back as a customer. Congratulations walmart!

I find that Walmart has decent prices; I buy most of my staples at this store. Sometimes it’s difficult to find things in stock. They are presently in the process of remodeling and/or reorganizing the store so you can’t find anything. So far the changes aren’t making sense, and it has been my experience that the people you find to ask questions are non-English speakers.

I arrived at 5:25 to pick up my scheduled order ( between 5-6 pm). I waited 15 minutes before someone came to tell me they had given all of my dry items to someone else. I asked them to keep my cool items inside as she told me there were 2 pickers getting the rest of my order. It's now 6:15 and the order they picked was completely wrong except for my cool items (missing my ice cream) but they did bring my Kleenex. They're back in picking again using photos they snapped from my phone order while my cool items are in the trunk. SUPER pleasant and apologetic but this is NOT curbside pickup

Yesterday, March 29, I went shopping in the laundry area and the brand Tide power. Maybe the knob was less than half open. I think they should be alert, it's easy to extract. It's a shame I can't post the photo.

This place is so disorganized. Isles aren’t big enough to push cart down. Everything is out of place. Most employees don’t speak English. I live and am an American. It would be nice to be addressed with a hello and a thank you in English.

I will never shop at this walmart again. I came in to buy a can of spray paint, 4 different workers called on the PA system for assistance. No one ever came. After 25 minutes I left the paint department and found a manager. She said that they don't always staff people in the different departments! WOW! You sell paint but there's no one there to take care of the customers. And, the manager wasn't at all friendly or considerate. I wish I had gotten her name. No matter, I will no longer shop at this store!!!!

I like this Walmart already, but last week's incident merits a great review. I left my credit card there. I went all the way home before I realized it, sped back over, and the staff was super kind and helpful while they looked for it... and found it! I was really freaking out and they were so understanding. Thank you so much!

Not 24hrs anymore. Always a dump, porly mannaged, has been trashy since turning to a super walmart. Go to publix and DG Ace hardware, or walmart on SR70 near I75, Not 301 it's also terrible.

It was an easy visit!I was in and out in 15 minutes and this includes self-checkout.Picked up a great buy, Meomi Pinot Noir 2021 for $18.97 is a great price.Looks like this location is getting ready for a store floor reset because there is a big empty space in the middle of the floor.

Unfortunately it's close to the holidays 😔. So I understand tension is high. The aisles were full of items that needed to be stocked, but it's ok it's the holidays so things go quickly I assume. During this trip I talked to a total of 5 employees. 5 of them offered a rude experience. I asked the first person for an item I was looking for. She didn't speak English, no problem so I spoke Spanglish to the best of my knowledge. She cut me off and walked away. The next one mentioned it was her second day on the job and couldn't help me without even trying. I greeted another " hello can you help me?" she said " what do you want?" At this point I didn't know how to take the response, so I said excuse me? With a confused look...I ignored and proceeded to ask my question, she said "Go look over there!" And Walked away. The fourth was helpful but super busy, she talked and walked at the same time and pointed where I should look and parted ways before she finished telling me what aisle exactly. Unfortunately I didn't find what I was looking for but went ahead to check out. While checking out I had to use three different cards to complete my transaction. Once I made my way to the second card, this woman continuously tapped her hand and feet at me. I should probably mention that I have anxiety. There were three other people in line and she yelled out, This is going to take a while Go to the next register. I was so embarrassed! Yes my card declined once! omg I did pay for all of my merchandise. this was by far the worst experience I've had at Walmart 😓. Sorry for the long story. All I ask is better customer service.

I hate self check out for the principal of servicing my own items, paying then having someone as to see my receipt at the exit. Same Club does stuff check out, by pass the line, scan with phone on the app, worker checks upon exit. Fix up Walmart!! Do better

This place is disorganized and shelves are empty. They hardly have any food, clothes, toys or crafts. Really a disgrace. When you try to ask anyone for help all of the teenagers abd young workers are too busy on their phones. They even use their phones while you are trying to cash out. Worst customer service ever!!! 😡

The workers are so rude to the point they walk right into you. The cashier was slow as can be and didn’t even try. The people who super sus and miles this may be Sarasota but probably one of the worst Walmarts I’ve ever been to. Don’t waste your time. There were about 5 employees just standing around when they could be restocking or working cashier, but apparently that’s too much to ask for.

I love this plade. It is open 24 hours and rarely closes (only on some holidays). You can find everything here... literally everything. Very organized and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I suggest you visit Walmart at Lockwood Ridge in Sarasota.

The staff in the deli are so unhelpful and they have a really bad behavior especially the woman responsible there. Also toilets are super dirty without proper hand wash liquid.

This used to be a decent Walmart. Fast-forward to 2023, and this place is now in need of some serious data mining, seems to have become forgotten by the rest of the chain. Managers at Lockwood are barely holding it together. Their attitude towards their employees are "Do what you want, just dont get caught. Publix for the win !

I had an amazing experience with the pharmacy here! The pharmacist Christy went above and beyond to help me in a tight situation where another pharmacy (not a Walmart) left me out to dry, so to speak. I needed a prescription filled before leaving town and on New Year's Eve, a little before closing, Christy was incredibly helpful and kind to work with my doctor and fill what I needed. She is the true definition of a compassionate person and healthcare worker and made me want to give my business here!

I was very disrespected and discriminated by a male staff here. I had two service dogs who behave well. They’ve been complimented all the time but this guy let me out immediately after he finds out I walk with service dogs. I said by law you can’t let me out they’re service. He said they’re not. You can’t have two service dogs at the same time . He thinks there’s no way to train two dogs and insisted that my dogs can’t be service. His attitude is awful and said jeez…. How come he just treat someone with disability using very harsh language and trying to kick them out???? He be like your lying about yourself and dogs. He’s a racist bc we’re both Asian. Walmart should work on their hiring and staff training or you’ll lose loyal customers.

Walmart is evil and has destroyed small businesses everywhere!!! They sell food & drinks with small amounts of poisonous ingredients in them and they care about nothing but money and the rich and powerful! Now they are using old Walmarts as illegal immigrant camps and check-ins and who knows what else! Support your local businesses as much as possible! Even though Walmart is convenient to go to it is pure evil and poison what you take out of there! God Bless America!!!

This is an ok Walmart. The parking lot is usually pretty full so I've always had to park far away from the store, especially at night. The store itself is often out of products I'm looking for. It's fine for quick stops and basic goods.

Lots of stuff at good prices, that's Walmart. Good stop before heading to the more expensive stores and shops at the beach. Slow checkout was a drawback.

This Walmart super center is great.they have a lot of products and the entrances are labeled for easy entry for right where you need to go to suit your needs. They offer curb side pick up on groceries by the Beer & Wine entrance. There is a pharmacy inside. There is at least 4 check out lanes open with cashiers and the self check out is open as well so less wait at this Walmart compared to others. They have cool drinks at check out if thirsty along with snacks. The photos od the store entrances I've added are from left to right: Beer & Wine, Groceries & Pharmacy, and Home Living.

Best place for inexpensive, impulsive, instant gratification random stuff shopping.. AND groceries. Except the meat.. I'm just not gonna buy meat at the same place I buy tires.As for this particular store, it's a good one.. Clean, organized and exactly what you would hope for when visiting Walmart.
