I recently called this Walmart location to see if a MoneyGram transaction could be made in excess of 5k. Before I could explain my situation, Amanda, the manager in customer service hung up on me. So I made a personal visit. When the associate at the counter requested she come from the office, she was met with a snide attitude from Amanda. I won't lie, it was hard for me to contain my irritation when I spoke with her about the conversation we had. Her explanation? 'There were customers waiting.'That is no excuse. As a customer service representative, it is YOUR JOB to understand what the customer needs and not have a snide and belittling attitude.Cori, the operations manager, was much more accommodating, and took the time to listen to my situation. I give this location a D- when it comes to customer service. This young woman Amanda should be counseled for her attitude.

In and out quick, grabbed hot lunch. No line even though the store and parking lot were crowded. Employees working and moving. One even while on the phone. Walmart is a good place to work.

Smaller version of the Walmart Superstore. The Neighborhood Market has most of the grocery items that you'll find in a regular Supercenter but not as much of the retail merch. Good location type parking lot gets very busy.

Everyday I'm come for han at 4 or 4:20 pm and the ladies in the deli tell me. " I'm sorry is close" Because I need clean. So if close at 4 for clean. Why in the Internet said close at 5 pm. I'm no understand. Everytime is the same problem. And now I'm waiting for the manager like a 30 minutes.

No carts available at entrance or inside. Only one line open with a real person, very busy store, it appears understaffed. I did find what I was looking for (papertowels, toilet paper, onions). Not a smooth visit overall.

They need to have more self check-outs open that have the conveyor system! And have them open all the time and not when they are "busy"! Also the stockers need to take care when handling the products. Too many banged up, rough handled product. They need to give a damn!

Nice choice, well supplied, very friendly and helpful staff. Not crowded parking. Open late (till 11:00 pm) Better choice of groceries than in Walmart Supercenters in the area. A lot of discounts. Friendly customer service. Pharmacy. Huge selection of meats, vegetables, frozen food and seasonal decorations. Credit and debit cards accepted. Clean restrooms. Strongly recommended.

Don't even bother going if you don't speak Spanish. It's ridiculous to hire people in customer service when you don't understand or speak English in the USA. Training them in English should be a minimum.Cashiers??? What Cashiers? Good luck if you have a cart full of groceries.

I counted at least 30 people in line and only one register open and a handful of self check out machines working. It’s 4:30p on a Saturday afternoon. Who is doing the scheduling and why aren’t there more cashiers available. I shop here all the time and it’s always like this.

To be honest, I’m not a fan of Walmart overall but wanted to keep an open mind and visit this location, as i thought the neighborhood version of Walmart might be different. Nope. Old products, dingy atmosphere. Upon leaving the store, i remarked that i hoped to never need to return. The parking lot is a crowded mess too. We almost had 2 cars back into us and several flow of traffic issues just trying to leave.

Convenient usual fair pricing not a full Walmart...food & drugstoreUse it for pick up items for my household and to buy food for Parish food requests weekly. The Mart can be an occasional surprise in terms of what they stock e.g.you can generally get flowers to surprise someone...!Self checkout is a bonus and reduces wait time in checkout process.I've been using this shop for 3 years now and it's as solid now as It has been since I first wrote this note!0

I liked this store a lot. Nice and clean. Stocked well. Friendly employees. I also liked how their self checkout lanes actually had conveyor belts making it easier to check out with larger quantities of items. The only con would be that it's pretty small. It doesn't take too many shoppers for it to start feeling crowded. Multiple times I had to wait for others to be able to move forward and I also felt I was in the way of others a couple times also. But overall I was able to find everything I needed and I will definitely return in the future.

Only has self check out, which I guess is ok but every other item needs a clerk to fix the machine and waiting when that happens sucks cause there is usually just one or two people walking the check outs to help and they can get busy and overwelmed

While this store has gone down somewhat since it opened with a 5-star experience, pound for pound it is still your best Walmart experience in the Sarasota area.It never, however, seems to be fully stocked anymore. It seems like there's always an item or two that they don't have and don't have for several weeks.They still need to keep working on these constant out-of-stock situations, especially on everyday goods of their house brands like bread or bacon.The pharmacy is also top-drawer with helpful people who get prescription refills done fast.

I usually self check out and have no problem doing that.But today I had a 245 dollar cart.its 130 2 o'clock in the afternoon.The place was busy. no cashier's openThere was 4 people packing pick up orders. Two people standing watching the self check outs and one customer serviceI asked Jane if someone could openShe said I have to stay here for IT supportShe had two people stocking the candie isle and another stocking cleaning supplies.someone could have jumped on a registerBy the time I got done packing my order .sthey had a register open

Love this store and staff but today I had a weird feeling around one of the stock guys with curly hair in the freezer section. He was being very loud and acting strange like he was on drugs or something. He made me uncomfortable talking about how spicy the vegetables while loading them up, which I dunno what he was really alluding to but so odd. Very strange.

Most of the people that work at the store are awesome especially “ Shrrzzz” (sorry for the misspelling))she always goes above and beyond to do her job. Today there was a rather large gentleman running the front desk who had no idea what he was doing held $665 of mine hostage refusing to release it because he didn’t know what to do and he was waiting on help which I was cool for the first 10 minutes then I said dude you’re gonna have to push the reset button and just give me back my stuff that’s when he started getting loud and told me to calm down and sit there and wait very rudely there’s absolutely no customer service skills there he does not belong behind that desk. I’m not a big fan of allowing people to yell at me so I yell back that’s just how I am so turned into a bit of a shouting match and the manager threw me out without even asking me what’s going on and I said I’m not leaving without my money, meanwhile the rather large employee modest and makes threats to me out of the corner of his mouth. This is absolutely unacceptable and I won’t stand for it. I can’t spend 15 minutes waiting for you to get help with basic tasks, if you don’t know what you’re doing then you should give me my stuff back when I ask you for it back politely, Not get loud and rude and try to talk down on me I won’t except it.

Love going here to shop. Not the crowd like at thecbig Walmart! Never been to one until we moved here. Wish some isles were wider but I will be ok with that. They don't carry everything but that's fine. I don't have to deal with crowds well worth going to this place. My only complaint is the parking lot. Its crazy to tey to park and leave!!

Very nice and neatly stocked. Workers actually make an effort to leave space for you and your cart to pass through the aisle. Unlike the Walmart Supercenter on University in Sarasota. The night shift stock workers don't care that youre trying to shop. They got not only the aisles blocked off but some of the items on the shelf as well. For one, they shouldn't be stocking during hours of operation. It's just not proper business etiquette. However if they are, it's not a big deal if common sense and respect is used like the employees at this store displayed. Good job to everyone at this location. It's nice to see teamwork and respect in public view. Gives the location a good reputation. Thanks to you all. 👍👍👏👏💯💯

Clean store, good produce department, but bread aisle was practically empty, looks like bread vendors hadn't been there in a few days. Milk cooler was not kept stocked. Self check very small area. Not one employee followed 10ft rule or offered greeting of any kind or asked if we needed help.
