This is the absolute worst walgreens in America 🇺🇸 I have gone without my diabetic meds for 2 months now. And I'm supposed to be on auto refill. Then they tried too sell me syringes that were covered on my insurance with zero copay. I said something and the obese chicken at the drive thru gets an attitude with me. Needless to say I dropped them and went elsewhere. Walgreens sucks. They need to have their pharmaceutical license taken away. They all are clueless there no brains at all.

Amazing customer service at the Pharmacy. Beyond professional and nice. I’ve been going there weekly and have never experienced even 1 bad time.The store as well is full of friendly staff. Since I’m there on a weekly basis, I know most of the staff on a first name basis and vice-versa which is not what you think of when your dealing with the largest Pharmacy Chain of Stores in the World I believe (other than maybe Walmart). Still, for a chain store - you get a more ‘personal’ vibe from the staff which I find very inviting.Front register staff 5 stars.Pharmacy staff 5 stars.I’ve never used photo services at this location.NOTE: This location specializes in beach supplies since its near the entrance to siesta key beach. So sunscreen, hats, toys, towels, etc. etc. —> this store has all that stuff.

Just went to this location tonight to try and get a passport picture done. They kept making up excuses as to why it could not be done and suggested us to come back tomorrow or go to another store.They said that the camera was broken but would "magically" get fixed tomorrow. Horrible customer service.

Hey Walgreens, how about getting some employees that actually want to work. There were multiple customers walking around and trying to check out, not a single employee to be seen anywhere.10 minutes later, they all come out of the break room or whatever room can’t be seen. The entire time I’m waiting on the photos I ordered three hours ago, your employee is on his phone. Get your act together.

This pharmacy is the worst. Try calling this place. The customer service is horrible. They answer, don't even say anything and put you on hold, again and again. Not sure if I'll ever be able to speak with anyone. I hope Walgreens takes some action; if not I'll have to move to different, more customer oriented pharmacy.

never take pictures with them, they said it would be ready in 1 hour, 6 hours have passed and it wasn't ready until now I came to check if it was ready the people who were here didn't even know how the machine works and said that a technician needed to come, could not knew how to do it! 😡

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ACTUALLY NEED RAPID COVID TEST RESULTS. I’ve been going to this Walgreens for 5 years and didn’t really have issues until we went to get rapid Covid tests for my family over the last couple of days. I made appts for my 5 family members, and called the evening before our tests to make sure we could all come together. Whoever answered the phone did not speak English very well, admittedly I could not understand what he was saying, but it sounded like he just kept saying “ok, so how can I help you” after I told him why I was calling. The next morning we show up, there were 3 of us in one car and 2 ended up coming to a later appt. The lady pharmacist was clearly annoyed and said she would only do one of us and the rest should come back at their appt times (all 15 minutes apart) bc there were other cars behind us. So I said that was fine, and apologized saying I had done this before with multiple family members and it hadn’t been a problem. So she ends up letting the 3 of us test together, not sure what changed her mind, but if you’ve ever done the test here 3 people can swab their noses in almost the same time that 1 person can. It took 4 hours to get the first result back. My mom’s result took 8 hours and was the only positive. Wanting to make sure it wasn’t a false positive because something had happened to her sample after sitting around for 8 hours I had her go test again the next day. The same lady was there and almost refused to test her. And lo and behold, 21 hours later still no results, so who knows if she threw out the sample. Go to the Walgreens at Bee Ridge and Cattlemen, I had friends that went there the same day of my mom’s second test and they got their results in a couple of hours like they are supposed to.

If I could give NO STARS I WOULD!! Within the last month, this Walgreens which is the closest to siesta key, where I live is the worst!!! For 3 days their pharmacy was shut down due to a storm. Today I called a refill in. When I got there, the pharmacy said, just a few minutes, so I walked around and got some things I needed….I was 5 minutes getting my items. I went back to the pharmacy and it was CLOSED, CLOSED???? At 2:30 pm. They lied to everyone and told them to just wait a minute, They Closed and put a sign on the drive thru staying, “ Go to 5800 bee ridge rd.. THIS IS A DISGRACE. They should CLOSE!! Do yourself a favor… go to CVS on Siesta key. So much better!!

This review is specifically directed toward the COVID testing service.I made an appointment (rapid test) for my daughter for 3:45 (the earliest available). When I got there, they informed me I probably wouldn't get the results until tomorrow. Ok, annoying, but whatever. Then, the pharmacist says we might not be able to do the test, because they "are closing in 5 minutes" (tell me WHO closes at 3:50??). So, I asked why I was able to schedule the appointment for this time? And, suddenly they were able to complete the appointment...still won't get results today. (Had I known they would delay it like this, I would have scheduled a non rapid test...probably could have gotten it done yesterday...

Gave wrong prescription to my wife twice in last couple years. One time was completely different medication. This time it was double the dosage. They slapped their label over the manufactures label. THEIRS WAS WRONG! So much for protecting people.

I just had the worst experience of my life, and I ust to work for walgreens and I could not believe how I was treated. I came in and couldn't find anyone to check me out. There was a bunch of homeless people outside, and two homeless people inside I thought. But I couldn't find anyone working. I stood in line for about 5/10 minutes. Finally this guy with a white t-shirt with holes in it, torn pants walks behind the counter and calls someone. I continue standing there, I thought he called someone to check me out so I waited. After a couple minutes no one came. I'm standing like two feet from him, he is sitting on the counter, finally I ask if anyone is coming. He said yeah me. I said okay can you check me out another woman walks infront of me and he starts checking her out. I said sir I'm standing right here he said yeah and I work here. I don't know how I was suppose to know he worked there. He didn't have on any type of uniform or name tag, I honestly thought he was with the homeless ppl. Lol he was the rudest service I've ever gotten. Will be reporting up as high as I can go.

Slow service and poor customer service. I have been here twice, and both times I waited in line for 15+ minutes. Today I waited behind only one person for more than 15 minutes while the cashier struggled to ring up a few items. I was on my lunch break, so I ended up leaving without buying the ankle brace I was in line for. I completely understand that on occasion a manager may have to come up and swipe their card to continue on with a purchase, but the cashier's unpleasant attitude about it to me and the customer checking out was over the top. Mainly, don't go to this Walgreen's if you plan to be checked out in under 20 minutes or if you like to be treated with an inkling of kindness. Also, if you look though my reviews, this is the first negative one have ever written. It was just that bad.

I would be very careful to see if your discounts are applied with your card. I returned today because an item that was supposed to be16 99 was charged 19.99. Then two other items were supposed to have a dollar taken off so there was $5 plus tax overcharge. Cashier was slow to understand and I ended up getting $3 on a refund card and a dollar in my hand. No Return of tax and no refund of one of the dollars overcharged. I don't like this place anymore. I stopped using the prescription dept because of the ridiculous amount of time each person took and they just did not seem to know what they were doing except for pharmacist.

I don't know about the "NEGATIVE NINNIES" giving some businesses lousy reviews regarding a "mask" issue. Masks-----explain why anyone wears them---all boxes of masks are CLEARLY marked that they DO NOT PREVENT THE SPREAD OF VIRUSES. When you are wearing a mask, you are NOT getting enough oxygen, either......I have to question these people-----do they even know anything about COVID, or ANY virus besides what they see on CNN? Or, have they done their research, which we ALL should, only some of us do.................Aside from this nonsense, Walgreen's is still the BEST Pharmacy with the BEST staff.

If you have to close because the pharmacist is sick, I get it. But to not change your outgoing voice msg so that doctors and patients think you’re open and leave prescriptions for the pharmacist to fill is unprofessional and inexcusable. The weekend of January 8 & 9, 2022, the pharmacy is closed apparently.

This is your typical Walgreens set up with all your convenient medical and household needs. Staff was friendly and helpful and I found the items that I needed quickly and was able to check out.

Usually a nice place to shop tonight on the other hand some young kid working here decided he was going to follow me everywhere I went why I have no idea I come in here 2 maybe 3 nights a week and I asked him is there a reason that you are following me cause I purposely went from one side to the other and back and forth and he actually got really nasty and said "I work here this is my store I can go where ever I want " I said "yes I understand that but you are following me, why " and once again real nasty he says " I can do what ever I want and nothing you can do about it " so in other words I won't be back
