It's okay. This place used to be the bomb. The selection of saltwater fish and supplies has really diminished over the years. I think COVID really hurt the industry as a whole. It's still a cool store. It would definitely be a cool experience for little kids, with parental supervision. Go check out the turtles out back.

This is a great ma and pa . Aquarium shop. I drove 1 hour to visit and seek help. Information. They helped me greatly. And have products big box stores don't!!! I will visit again, we'll worth the trip

I had such high hopes for this fish store. Until I saw how the employee handled the fish I was buying. He put them in a bag and they got stuck in the top where there was no water. He also squished one of my neon tetras in the bag and it ended up dying later that night. Buyer beware, they mishandle fish.

So amazing to just check out. The koi pond is so pretty and there's tons of fish and tanks! And the reptiles are cool with all the snakes, lizards and birds. And there's a sweet little cat that hangs out and greets you. Very cool place!

This store is very useful for those who breed fish, birds, and reptiles. But mainly, they specialize in fish. They have very competent consultants, they will advise and tell you about everything, even help solve problems with aquarium diseases. You can also just look at various beautiful fish, birds, and reptiles there. They take very good care of their pets, so you don’t have to worry about the health of the animals you buy. In this store, there lives a very cute and nice cat (he is not for sale😉)

I have been going to seascape for years as a sarasota native and have spent thousands of dollars as a client,I've know the owners of this establishment for years, they would never treat me as i was treated today, my step father sold a fish tank under his name on consignment; they picked up the fish tank from the household and charged us which is understandable, however they claim it is $65 and hour to clean the tank, the tank was sold at somewhere around $400 right before Christmas of 2023, I called and contacted the gentleman responsible for the fish tank sales, (younger guy dark hair) Told me that a check initially was sent in the mail by his accountant, I called multiple times after the fact and so did the stepfather who agreed to the terms, there is no paper trail, neither of us have been provided with proof or any receipt of sale.So we basically aren't getting any compensation for said fish tank, it's kind of funny how they assume it took more than 3 hours to scrape algae off of a tank to utilize the entire balance of said compensation. I will Never Spend another Penny at this Facility, nor recommend anyone to ever go to seascape again, this is beyond pathetic and I will certainly be taking this to small claims court.It's simply a slimey way to conduct business and have absolutely no transparency with your clients as a business that has made an impact on so many in the community of sarasota, think twice before coming. most businesses follow up with clients... this is hands down the worst service I've ever seen in ANY Industry. Never again will I step foot in this excuse of a businessEDIT ON REVIEW: I WAS FULLY AWARE AND APPROVING OF THE TANK TO BE SOLD, DONT LET THAT BE MISCONSTRUED, AS IM BEING ACCUSED OF.NO REPLY FROM THIS COMPANY CAN EVEN REMOTELY MAKE WHAT THEY DID OKAY, THERE AGAIN!!! WAS NEVER ANY RECIEPT OR DOCUMENTATION PROVIDED AT ALL, FOR SAID CHARGES OR PRICE, OF ANY GOODS WHATSOEVER.NO PUN INTENDED BUT THAT SEEMS QUITE FISHY TO ME.THERE WAS NEVER ANY DAMAGE ON THE TANK STAND AS WELL, AGAIN ID LOVE TO SEE ANY PROOF OF THAT AS WELL, SAY WHAT YOU WILL, BUT CLEARLY ITS MY WORD AGAINST THERES, IVE ALREADY LOST WHAT I HAVE TO LOSE, THIS SLIMEY COMPANY ALREADY GOT WHAT THEY WANTED, I AGAIN WILL NEVER RECCOMEND ANYONE EVER SHOP IN THIS "STORE" IF THATS WHAT YOU COULD EVEN CALL IT, TAKE A LOOK FOR YOURSELVES AT THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS, ONE EVEN MENTIONS SOMEONE BEING ACCUSED OF MOLESTATION? Definitely a complete store. They have pretty much everything you could possibly need to setup an aquarium. They also have a wide variety of freshwater and saltwater fish, as well as corals and inverts. There are also a reptiles and some small mammals.

This was a great place with so many fish! I was super impressed with their saltwater selection. No one has an inventory like that in Tennessee where we are from. Huge selection of driftwood, foods, decorations, you name it.There was also a very friendly store cat that fell in love with my fiancee. 12/10 would give love and pats again.This beautiful lady is Cookie! I love koi bettas, and I'd been looking for a special fish ever since our guy Sai died in a freak accident a few weeks back. This lovely little girl was all about following our fingers around in her bowl, and we instantly fell in love. She has such unusual colors!The staff were great when we told them the dilemna of being from out of state and having a 12 hour drive home. He bagged her up in an extra big bag with oxygen that would last a few days. She made it through the night, then we strapped her in the back seat inside a blanket, and 800 miles later, we acclimated her to her new tank and she is thriving!I highly recommend these guys! Great shop, great service, very healthy fish!

Came to have my boots repaired next door and accidentally stumbled upon this store. Wow! I have been to a lot of aquarium stores back when I had a tank, but this is one of the biggest, nicest, and with the largest selection stores I have been to. They also have other pets for sale such as rabbits, birds, spiders, snakes, etc. Staff was very kind and it made my day to find this place. Now I really want to get back into aquascaping.

First time in since 2008. Same owner same great service and exceptional variety of fish both saltwater and fresh. Aquariums birds snaks rabbits koi ponds all the food and chemicals you could need plus the best equipment and knowledge anywhere i have ever been. If you want a incredible aquarium this should be your first stop.

We’ve went to this store for years. We loved it, had great workers great products. We went there a few weeks ago and I’m assuming they got new management. However, it was an awful experience. The manager had no clue what he was talking about. He had $25 listed for a shrimp and tried saying it was $100. you’d ask him a question and he would have no answer. Sad to say but i don’t think we’ll be going back.
