Publix is always a go to BUT this store stands out due to its employees. Susan and Zelda (cake decorator) and here team in the bakery are some of the most professional, kind people. My son has special needs. We stop by for a cookie and we are greeted as neighbors. When we couldn't find the perfect birthday cake, the staff asked what my son wanted and designed a birthday cheesecake. This cake should be a staple cake for publix. Thank you Publix

Our Publix wedding cake was AMAZING! We chose a simple 2 layer cake and provided the design to the bakery manager and they nailed it. We sampled cake flavors prior to choosing the hummingbird flavor, which was so delicious and unique. It was exactly like the picture and they even put on our custom flowers and cake decorations once they arrived at the venue. The donuts were also a hugeeee hit I didn't even get to try one. Highly recommend Publix for any and all catered desserts.

This Publix is pretty cool. I guess I have one bad experience here with a cake that I ordered very ridiculous. The cake in the middle had nothing but sprinkles should’ve seen my face, but this Publix is okay

This Publix has some great attributes. It is spacious. The fruit and vegetables area is pretty large and well-stocked. They have a great Starbucks inside with raw coffee you often can't find elsewhere. There's also a great wine section at good price points. There's an entire aisle of beer where the selection is top notch. One thing I like is for almost any food item there is both a good size selection and variety of brands. This is important for shoppers who don't need large sizes of an item and also the variety allows one to compare prices.

I love Publix and think highly of store and bakery, HOWEVER do not go through florist or CATERING department at this store. After a cake tasting for MY WEDDING, I spoke to Cheryl and my cake was planned out. A deposit was made. We interacted several times over the next few days for details via phone and email. In April (4 months later), I called about a question when I was told very rudely they had no record of me. No order in book!! Not in phone records! I told them I literally have a copy of pink sheet and paid a deposit. After some prompting she finds the emails. I ask to please place the emails in book to at least hold my date. IF I HAD NOT HAVE CALLED THEM, I WOULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN MY WEDDING CAKE!!! And the florist was rude and dismissive. I brought my concerns to a manager who was able to give me a refund and that is why this review is 2 stars and not one. Her words were “we dropped the ball”. There were a lot of excuses involved in who did what, etc? In the end for big events, they will drop the ball at this store.

The experience was great but the 6:30 class started at 6. We arrived at 6:20 with the class already in session and then needed to change our seats when the other party arrived on time. The experience was rushed and they were out of the ingredients needed, including the wine. That being said, the food was amazing and as we enjoyed our 1st visit so much, we will give it a 3rd try.

Good store with Starbucks attached.Very clean and well kept. They have lots of products to choose from. Many many item the mart superstores don't have. Brand names and Publix brands which are excellent.A BIG bakery with breads, pastries, cakes and more. The Deli has a ton of fresh made food and made to order sandwiches. And a salad bar. Plus an Olive bar.Always plenty of staff to help too.

Shopping here is always an enjoyable experience. Aisles and floors are always clean. Easy to find items. Pleasant employees. Fresh produce. One of my go to supermarkets definitely.

There is a young man that works at Publix and he works where they sell chicken he does some cashier work there at the he also said things up and prep them I watched him he does a very good job and he's very nice and quiet alert about everything going on but the most friendliest person I've ever met. He smiles at everyone and always friendly and courteous...He also ask people if he can help..He is one good human being.... Out of respect I'm not going to say his name becauseI don't think he looks at himself as having disabilities and being in a wheelchair...but he is and he is very intelligent so I pray no one ever looks at him as not being intelligent because he is smarter than I am because I could never do what he does by putting everything in the bags taking your money making change and all that and not having full function of his extremities..totally blows me away . So even though I said all this if you visit that Publix please don't look at him this way, you will be fooled if ya do....he is not disabled and does not have disabilities and I see how some people stare at him and believe me he is very aware of.....he is a young man just like my sons..trying to make it in this cruel world..most if all he is my friend now and knows me.... I'm Temporary working in that area of Sarasota and I'm so grateful that God sent me in that Publix a month ago...all the Staff are great and I can tell they have a good manager because they all seem happy....Family atmosphere is there and I'm grateful to the Publix Family(corporation) for having a great store...

My go-to Publix near my neighborhood. Go early as it is very busy this time of year. The store is always clean and well managed. Plenty of parking.Deli and hot food service is slow so be prepared to wait.

Publix used to be so much better. Most employees here are rude, the deli screws up online orders for subs, and everything is expensive af. There's really no point coming here anymore

Went to this store for the deli. The manager on duty working customer service interrupted my experience and asked me if I was a publix employee while checking out the second floor cooking class. She asked me to leave in a very disrespectful way. Because of the Managers behavior I will look for other options before visiting again. No customer should feel unwelcome to a store.

We walked in to get a few items. A2 milk, A2 half n half, and coffee medium roast high quality beans. We found everything we wanted. The store was in great shape. Self checkout lanes were available. Great experience. We love Publix

The grocery side is great. Always clean, staff is friendly. However, I took a star out because the liquor store has a very condescending cashier who would not require an id to the three customers before me, he did ask me. I had left my id in the car because I pay with my phone. He tried to tell me that I look so young…. I wish, pretty obvious that I’m way over 25. An extremely rude man. He obviously didn’t like my face. lol

This store has two bicycles racks installed under an overhang. It offers secure parking for our ebikes. This isn't the case for many other area grocery stores.In addition the shelves are usually well stocked. This store offers a more pleasant shopping experience than many other stores in the area.

We had this location Cater , my brothers celebration of life last week. It all went perfectly and everyone loved the food. The Catering department even rang up my groceries, so I didn't have to wait on line. Highly recommend this location

Probably the best grocery store around for most of your household needs. Granted they aren’t the cheapest but their bogos are great and one thing they sell cheaper then Walmart are Dave’s Bagels, so good!

A little annoyed that Publix thinks Chocolate cake with Buttercream is something that needs to be an order only cake. They used to have them in the cake case all time now its only 1/2 & 1/2 and confetti cakes. Yuk Publix what is happening to this place customer service is not what it used to be.

Last time I went there I tried using a coupon. The self checkout took it so I didn't think there was a problem, suddenly the cashier looking after the self checkout area came to me and acted as if I was stealing thousands of dollars. I know Publix is a coupon code friendly store but some cashier's make a big deal about it, however, all she had to do is say that the coupon didn't apply, cancel it and be done with it but she got SO MAD, she took me to customer service and kept yelling that what I was doing was NOT ALLOWED making me look like a thief. The girl at customer service was very friendly and we sorted out everything but it still made me feel really bad.
