It was more than amazing. I came in with a choke collar that had come apart and i didn't see how to put back together. The two ladies there, both worked with me to try and get it back together. They were geniuses and figured it out. And it wasn't even a collar I had bought at that store. That's such wonderful help and of course, I found something to buy there. But, I think the lady who actually got these parts back together was Jennifer. I jokingly asked her if she was married and she said "no one could handle me". So, if you want to know who to reward, it would be both of the ladies there yesterday, 12/26/2023. I had tried for hours to get that chain back together and I was certain she would not do it since she was trying the same thing I tried. but, for her, it fell back into place. It's like a magician's trick to get those things back together. I love her!!

This may be the 2nd review I’ve ever left. I was in there today and the cashier Brandon had me leaving in a much better mood than I came in with. He’s incredibly personable. He had the customers in front of me smiling as well. We could use a lot more Brandon in our world!

If only I could leave a review of less than one star. After making an appointment for pet grooming, Petco canceled it as the last minute. I was able to reschedule to only have the second appointment canceled at the last minute and told I would have to wait a month for a third appointment. After speaking to the store manager, which was a complete waste of time I’m now looking elsewhere.

Bought some cat grass it literally went bad in one day Don’t know about you, but I don’t really have $10 to spend on stuff that goes bad in one day. I bought some Friskies 10 cans most of them smell spoil like I said money is a problem lately so please have Stuff that doesn’t go bad.

The staff is ok. The store is poorly set up. And the idea that you have to pay .10 cents for a bag is crazy, especially with the high cost of the items. The only reason I use this store is because it's convenient during my daily travels.

PETCO at US 41 and Bay Road in Sarasota Fl is the absolute best groooming salon. I suggest that you request the groomer named Cat! Great personality, wonderful interpersonal skills and she loves her profession

Excellent wash and cut from Amanda. She listened to my concerns and found solutions that made her look her best! Her nails were cut and ground down well- no clacking on the floor. Will definitely use them again!

I've been taking my dog for grooming at Petco since I adopted her from the Humane Society of Sarasota Co. almost 2 years ago. I have always been happy with the results. She has had the same groomer, Amanda from the Bee Ridge/41 location, almost from the beginning. Amanda is wonderful, does a great job, and my dog is always so happy to see her. Definitely recommend!

Petco's groomers on Bee Ridge in Sarasota does a fabulous job. The salon is very clean and the groomers love all of the dogs. I have going there for 8 years and have never been disappointed

Staff told me on the phone that they had 40lb of black sand in stock when they, in fact, did not, nor had they sold any that day. Then, they acted like i had called a different store. I redialed the number on my phone and found that I was, in fact, correct to assume that I did, in fact, go to the same store that I had called for sand. Waste of time and gaslit.

Grooming: Started going there many years ago when my vet recommended Jackie. I would never have considered using a big box groomer otherwise. She was absolutely fantastic! TEN STARS if I could give them. Unfortunately (but not unexpectedly) after a few years she started her own grooming business in south Venice. She was so good I continued to go there until she moved even further south and I just couldn't do the drive/wait/drive.She recommended someone at Petco - I went - just average but not bad. Still looking for another Jackie! Previous grooming experience 10 out of 10, last experience 3 out of 5.Other stuff: They have a very knowledgeable and personable assistant store manager who has been informative and helpful when the website didn't show items that were actually in stock (when arranging for curbside delivery).

Everyone was super friendly, instead of just acting like they couldn’t help me the lady at the front did extra to help me.. But Brittany Chandler went out of her way to meet my needs and never got frustrated once or made me feel like a bother. I truly appreciated that, it’s nice to have customer service like she gave me. We love this Petco location in Sarasota. We brought our new puppy, Piper, to the store for puppy training and we ended up finding a one stop shop for everything that she needs. The grooming is wonderful, her 1st doctor appt was easy and calm and she absolutely loved coming to Puppy School with Heather. Everyone on staff is caring and kind and will go out of their way to help you find the right things for your pet. We highly recommend!

When I looked for cat food online I found exactly what I needed and checkout was easy. When I got to the store, I called for curbside pickup and the girl who answered the phone was great - happy. friendly, kind. Same goes for the man who brought my order out to the car. A big thank you to both of them! It was refreshing to deal with such awesome people!! I will go back when I need more cat food! Oh, and my cats say thank you too!!

I recently purchased three guinea pigs from this particular Pet Co location. I was very impressed by the due care they displayed by quizzing me to ensure I had adequate space to home three pigs, as well as proper caretaking knowledge. Luckily I am experienced with guinea pigs and the employees present went above and beyond to help ensure I am set for success. I am happy to say my pigs are thriving, and I'm relieved Pet Co management showed proper concern and didn't just make a quick sale for profit. I'll be back for more supplies soon!

Aaliyah and tammy dr Norby were so friendly they fit my dog in right away! Took my dog in for a dog cut from the beach and she took my dog in right away! They were quick efficient and very affordable! I wish I had this vet in Orlando! They took such great care of my jojo. Thank you so much
