I go here because it's conveniently close to my house. They don't have a good selection of kitten products and they run out fast. The fish tanks are always gross, not clean.

Used to have one of the greatest selections of fish and aquatic plants... In the 9 months, that staff is gone and so are the fish and plants... Nothing cool anymore...!!! But, the empty shelves(no fish food) is what got me to discontinue my patronage of this store... Y'all gotta fix it...!

As an owner of a 65lb. dog, a cat and a 55 gallon aquarium I use to shop here a lot. Then one day during a Premium washing session, my 5 yo daughter had to use the bathroom. They denied us and said their bathroom is not open to the public. I've used it twice over the years. Even for a 5yo. So we packed everything up, got a refund and will not be back. I understand some people are disgusting and probably leave the bathroom a mess, but little kids don't have the ability to hold it like adults. I will shop and wash our fog somewhere where if my child has to go, we can go.

Don’t waste your time or money here. Employee sold my 13 year old a fish but gave her zero instruction on care and also sold her a small tank that ended up killing the fish in about 8 hours. When explained to the “manager” he said she should’ve “googled it” to know what tank to get and that his employee isn’t expected to educate customers on things they purchase.

Never have I ever met such a helpful young man. From the minute my friend and I walked into the store, Nissi was beyond friendly and full of knowledge. I would shop there just because of him. Unfortunately I am only visiting from Washington state. Pet Supermarket has a very valuable employee!

They never have enough employees working that will help people that are in the store at the same time I walked in there today could not see any employee three people came in after I walked up front and she took the other person behind me that came in after me because she was the only person and he needed the cash what about me being there for more than 10 minutes before those people I just walked out I did not do business with them

Way way better than ANY other pet store by far! These employees are amazing actually! The guy offered to carry my 30lb bag of dog food to the counter and even again to my car!..The manager Shane was super helpful, nice and just a pleasure to deal with. Just honest caring good ppl in there! Upper management should legit do everything they can to retain Shane! You DONT find ppl like that in the retail setting anymore! Im a customer for life over that experience!. Well done!! Im bringing in my puppy to meet you Shane! See you all soon.

As with most Chipotle's this one is well staffed, neat, clean and organized. Their table layout is conducive to nice view for dining conversation. Clean large private bathrooms.

My dog wasn’t eating and I had no idea what to do. I went there and the two people working were so amazing! They helped my dog eat again, and I cannot thank them enough! It was on Thursday (I believe one of their names was Alejandro) - they even told me I was excelling!! Much appreciated

Deteriorated! Have been going here for 20 years. Now it has no AC, lacks employees. Too much employee turnover! What's going on?I'm a fish guy and they never have plants either. The fish often have ich as well. Miss some of the same customer service reps there, or employees. Have started going to Petco.

Great job at listening and acting upon feedback posted on Google reviews! They cleaned up the place very nicely, and to us, it smelled just like any other pet store. The bunnies, ferrets, and birds looked clean, had food, an even a place to jump around and play.We needed help twice, and we were able to get it rather quickly. The lady who helped us was super nice.There's still a line at the cashier as other reviews pointed out.The fish and plant setup can use a little help. The aquatic plants didn't look healthy, and some of the tanks needed cleanup.The layout is still a little strange, and I didn't care for the discount tables right in the middle of the store, but that's personal preference.Overall, great improvement from the last time I visited.

Colin at the register was very nice. Store was well maintained although some items didn't have a price by them.One thing that bothered me a lot and tempted me to write this review was the fish display. This is probably corporate telling them to set this display up as I'm unsure of anyone thinking this is a good idea.When you walk up to the fish display there's a display of 10-15 individual extremely small fish tanks that have one fish in them stating what kind of fish they are. Most of them were dead or in shock. I saw a couple move but like it's so sad to see. It's torture.Please fix this. Put pictures instead. Please.

Bring your pet! This family friendly supercenter always has something new in their Inventory.They offer perk points and delivery service.Their cashier's actually work instead of stand around texting on their phones and they love chatting about your pet.They offer clinics and samples sometimes (could do this mire often).

Don't usually come into this store, but we happened to be nearby and needed to get some crickets. I checked the bin to see that they did have some but when I asked if I could get some, the employee just said "Nope, can't, getting a shipment of lizards in tomorrow and have to keep those." I get the reasoning, but his demeanor wasn't very friendly. It was a little short, almost rude. He was the only one I interacted with, so I can't speak for the other employees, but he could definitely work on his customer service. I'll just keep going to the two in Venice...they seem to always have great customer service.

I always stop into this location because it's convenient, yet I typically end up regretting it. If there are more than 5 customers in the store your best bet is to leave and try again later. I'm not sure if it's the training or just a common thread amongst personnel, but typically you will have a long wait and don't expect any apologies as the employees chit chat while you wait.

Staff is always friendly. I come here regularly for my reptiles. They have a good variety of crickets and worms for my babies at a good quality. Most other places the insects are half dead when I try to get them. Including their refrigerated worms. When the staff is not busy they are quick to help out with any needs

Three different times in the last week. I've gone in looking for pet diapers in size medium was told the first time they would be on Wednesdays truck delivery that was on Tuesday before now Thursday second trip still nothing on the shelf in medium asked about them again told then they were still on the delivery truck waiting to be unloaded ok now third trip today Friday go in still again nothing on the shelf asked young female employee about medium diapers she commences to tell me they will on the next delivery which will be next Wednesday so now I'm either being lied to which I'm more likely to believe or no one seems to know what is going on in this place. Seems to me like a bunch of kids operate this place. Had to go to Wal Mart and won't return to this place ever again.

The staff is friendly and very helpful. This is where I usually get my mollies and platys and they are very healthy. The prices are higher than if you were to go to Walmart or something like that for supplies, but they have a bigger range of items here.There is a big range of dog, cat, fish, turtle, reptile and other small pet supplies. This includes food, grooming tools, harnesses/collars, toys, cages, meds, treats as well as refrigerated pet food.My dog loves the staff here and they love her, and usually give her a little treat after asking first. They have a large range of different cat and dog foods as well.🐱 They also have vaccination events a few times a year!They no longer keep the Beta fish in little jars!!! I'm so glad to see them taking the animal's health seriously.

Rude manager. I tried to give back an item that was $30 with tagged prices on it without a receipt (sorry, lost it folks, the dog ate it?!). The manager treated me awfully. Learn some manners lady. I come here once a week but because of this nasty treatment over asking for a refund on a mere $30 after the hundreds I spend here, no more! Also the manager refused to refund under no exceptions. Can you at least be friendly and respectful when telling costumers you won't make an exception? Shop at another pet store variety you will get way better, friendlier customer service (in general as well) and they will most likely accept a missing receipt should you need a return on a small cost item!!

Went in there to get dogfood for my senior with medical issues, there was only one person working that kept suggesting food that wasn't good for my dog even after explaining the food allergys. Then when i was ready to check out they were helping someone with the SELF SERVICE dog bathing. Walked out empty handed because of that. Its not rocket science its a bathtub and hose, if someone can't figure out how to do it themselves then they should be taking their animal to a groomer to do it for them.

Called in advance for price for my pet vaccines, and after nearly 2 hours of waiting found out it would $18 higher than told on the phone 3 hours earlier. Vet was late showing up with only a four people in front of me it took two hours for my turn and only one minute with the vet. This group of three, the vet wasn't very nice, the female taking the information nasty attitude, the male that accepted the payment very nice person. No handicap seating. Dogs allowed to be loud and and barking, should have been asked to wait outside until their turn. Dogs urinating in the floor. Dogs fecal in the floor. NEVER AGAIN.

Soooooo the people here are awesome and so sweet, not only did they do food samples for all my pets (1 dog and 1 cat) but she asked questions about them and really cared about getting them the right food even though it was free. They give you a free bag of food for every ten bags you buy with them (as long as they are the same brand) and for every dollar you spend you get a point and when you get to 100 you get 5% off. Also i found a cute little scratch off with 15% off my next purchase. I was impressed with their selection of grain free food and safe toys for pets. ALSOOO they have vet visits so you can get your pet checked up.
