K9 Korral has been an absolutely great experience. We had our Shepard puppy in every weekday for daycare up until he was one year old. There was never any issues.Mark the owner is very kind, and all of the other staff members as well. Everyone seems patient and understanding.I would highly recommend other dog owners who need daycare or boarding consider this place.

My dogs had a great experience at this facility. They were well adjusted and not upset with me after I picked them up. I did not opt for a bath at the end, and they were not stinky! Highly recommend this caring facility.

We came to Sarasota for the holidays and had our 6 year old Labrador visit K9 Korral. She has never been in a Kennel for any amount of time before but she had a great time and she was so comfortable getting dropped off and very happy when we picked her up. What a great place and we'll bring her back if we every come back to Sarasota.

The crew at K9 Korral really love dogs. My puppy has had an exceptional time there and is quickly becoming socialized. Puppy train has been very good as well, Mark knows his stuff and conveys it well. Very good teacher.

He uses positive reinforcement training, and, it is clear that his knowledge is based on the science of animal learning and years of experience. My wife Belle, myself and of course our dog Missy have always enjoyed all the employees at K-9 Korral! We’ve used their boarding facility for Missy (sometimes over 2 weeks), plus their training. Mark is just a wonderful teacher and has introduce us to so much enjoyment with our dog Missy. Learning how much she wants to please us doing things like sit, down, wait, stay, let-it-go, drop it to name a few. We highly recommend Mark & his staff for our trading & boarding needs.

My dog Tucker and I recently finished Basic 101 and we have been so successful. We have just registered for Basic 102. We just love the full staff and what they have to offer. Tucker does day care for 4 hours once a week just to play and I know he is safe and in good hands. I am taking him on a road trip to Charleston SC for 3 to 4 days of walking and I know he is going to be great. I highly recommend K9 Korrall.

Wonderful place, I have boarded my dog and had her in daycare and she had a great time and adores the staff. The thing I really like about their boarding service is during the day the boarded dogs play with the daycare dogs. So she is having fun and not in a kennel all the time. She's a puppy and has gotten more and more confident playing at the dog park after her visits to K9 Korral. The staff are helpful and nice - highly recommend it!

We have used K9 Korral in a variety of ways and have been so impressed. First, my puppy stayed at K9 for a couple weeks and loved it! Then we had a private training session. We learned so much and the session really helped us work with our dog to ensure a safe, fun environment at home. Also, we buy quality dog food there as well. They are so helpful to make sure we are feeding our dog the right stuff. It's where the love is!

I just moved here with a new puppy who has separation anxiety. K9 Korral was able to take my pup right away and gave her the care and attention she needs. They are so friendly and knowledgeable. My dog loves going there (it actually breaks my heart a little that she runs inside wagging her tail and doesn’t look back!). She comes home happily exhausted every day, and she’s a high energy dog. I feel so lucky to have found this amazing spot!

Such a great place! I lost my dog a year ago and ended up getting another one a few months later. The new puppy is extremely active to say the least.We enrolled in the dog training classes and he loved it! He gets so excited when we come here. I also like that they have everything in one place so that I can bring him just to play and lose some energy and if I need to go out of town they have boarding too! This place was referred to me by someone and I am so glad they did. I would recommend it to anyone for whatever you are needing. The trainer is awesome too and really makes it fun for everyone to learn! The rest of the staff is eager and willing to help you and your pet! They make your pet feel like family which they are! You won't be disappointed in bringing your pet here!

I can not imagine taking my fur-baby to any where else. We have gone to several other day cares and overnight facilities (in the Sarasota Area and around the nation) by far K9 Korral is the best. Jeff, Mark and the staff are so friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Fur-baby goes right in without hesitation and always comes home clean and tired. I'd recommend anyone to take their dog to the Korral. Keep up the good work!

We were so desperate for some help. We had feelings if rehoming our dog and there were days were I just wanted to open the door, let the dog out, and never answer our door again. It was just really bad. Mark came to us for a private lesson and now we spend our time loving our dog. He was a God send and my only regret is that I didn’t seek his help sooner. I did research into many trainers in the area and he was the one that I chose. I can’t possibly say enough good things about him and how he changed our relationship with our dog. Great trainers with a positive approach. All dogs can benefit from obedience training but the K9 Korral approach gets great results and your dog is happy. If you are looking for a place that will help you with your dog and you don't want yanking, pulling, and yelling, this is place! AMAZING Place for your dog! Mark, Jeffrey, and the staff truly love dogs and provide the best care. We do weekly daycare, have boarded, and taken classes with them. I also buy my food and supplies from here as they have a Great Store with high quality dog food, treats & much more. If you care about your pet, this is the place to bring them. My girl cannot wait to get there & I think the staff loves her just as much as I do (no joke). This place is the real deal as everyone there does it for the love for dogs, not for the love of money!

This place is awesome. My dog Mya goes here at least 3 times a week, if not more on busy work weeks. They're trained professionals and are super sweet with the dogs. They have a variety of holistic food and treats to keep your fur babies happy and healthy. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a safe and fun place for their pup while they're away at work or on vacation. The prices are decent and they have fun too!

I have a German Shepard puppy and was planning on starting the puppy obedience class. However she was really nipping me badly and needed immediate help. I called and Mark came to my home that afternoon and did a training with me to teach her not to do this. He also taught some basics and it made a huge difference. I highly recommend K9 Korral.

The K9 Korral has all you and your furry friend could need. Great selection of quality food, variety of treats, and variety of tools to help train your pet. There are options for different kinds of classes offered that will fit your needs. Indoor agility equipment and fly ball that really is a big plus in this Florida heat! Both Jeff and Mark are "straight from the heart" kind of people and it shows! I highly recommend the K9 Korral and all it has to offer!

Southgate Animal Hospital

I am absolutely appalled at the unprofessional behavior exhibited by this company. We are a local veterinary hospital that cares for a patient boarding at this facility. Today, this patient was brought to us by K9 Korral for treatment of mild vomiting that occurred this morning, however they were unable to provide documentation that gave us permission to treat the animal. We were unable to reach the owner to give permission for us to treat the patient and asked the boarding facility if they wished to wait while we tried to get in touch. Unfortunately, we are legally obligated to have some form of permission from an animal's owner before testing or treatment can be administered. They declined and took the dog back. To avoid the poor animal leaving without any help, I provided donated medication to the employee that brought her for temporary relief. Mark, one of the trainers at the facility, called us approximately 30 mins later and verbally assaulted my front office staff and used revolting profanity while she tried to explain that all we needed was a simple signed form giving us permission to treat the animal. I called back to discuss the matter (as the doctor) and was treated similarly. I will never recommend this company again and am disgusted by the entire encounter.

My Gsd Bear went there for three years. Took him to obedience classes and they were awesome, Bear was shy but you should have seen him later he could have been a “ house” dog. The doggie daycare was s amazing, Bear would drag you in there to play, they were kind to the dogs and that means the world to dog people. Their food choices are awesome and better than competitive. The different treats were nice for change ups so your pup won’t get tired of their treats. They are a great group that ended up being friends.

I took my older dog, Ruby to her first obedience class here. She is a nervous dog and doesn't do well in situations like this, however, Mark saw this right away and worked with her so that she was able to participate in the class. We both learned so much, and Ruby is a much better dog at home now. We will probably go for another class soon as she (and I) could use some more help in making our lives better. I understand more about her and what I need to do to help her in situations that she doesn't like. I would higly recommend K9 Korral for training as they truly understand what is going on with different dogs and how to work with them and their owners. Both of my dogs have stayed at K9 and loved the doggie day care. They don't get to play with other dogs so this was a special treat for them. I also buy all my dog food and their treats there. They absolutely love their grain free seafood dog food. You need to visit K9 and take advantage of their goods and services.
