I over all enjoy shopping at Dollar Tree. I shop there monthly for my non-perishables and paper products.I realize not all the stores are the same as far as products go, and I'm fine with that.But my irritation with Dollar Tree is that you can't wheel your cart out of the store unless you can find one without the 10 ft. pole attached to it. How are disabled folks able to transfer their purchases out to their car, let alone someone buying a large amount and shopping by themselves. THE POLES NEED TO GO.I believe you will lose business if customers are limited to shopping only for what they can carry to their cars.......rather than what a cart or their budget allows. I almost left my order at the register when I asked the cashier how I was to get my order out, she told me look for a cart without the pole, then proceeded to just about throw my next item into a bag!I understand your short handed but I believe you will become revenue poor if customers can't take carts from the store to their cars!This review is about my recent shopping experience at the Swift and Tuttle store. But, my opinion about the carts pertains to all Dollar Tree!

I got everything i needed and more. Very nice cashier store was clean and well organized. They should have beach thing all year long being so close to the beach and all. Dollartree is my favorite store. No where else can you get 20 different things for $20 BUCKS. location is close and easy to get too.

I am 53 and have been working in customer service related jobs my entire career. Unfortunately in this day and age it seems the great customer service is a lost art especially in the retail setting. Jim, I think his name is, he is the store manager, helped me with a large balloon purchase. It was for a big sale event at my flooring store, G Fried Flooring in South Sarasota. He let me pay in advance and had all the balloons ready for me at the agreed upon day and time. All were expertly inflated, exactly the colors and styles we had discussed, and where grouped together and ready for me to go with! I have had some bad experiences at places like the Party Store. Balloons not inflated fully, or not tied together correctly (like they came loose carrying them to my car) and I lost a few to the heavens. Jim had his staff double loop them around a pink bag that was easy to untie when I got to my store. But it was nice and tight during the transport process so it made getting them to where I needed them easy, no disappointments.I love this new Dollar Tree, it is awesome. The store is clean, well stocked and has a great selection and layout. Likely being one of the largest in the country as it is in a failed Walgreens location. The employees are obviously well trained and managed. They greet you, make eye contact, smile, and seem eager to help you. I feel it all has to do with this “Rock Star” manager that the company is very fortunate to have working for them. I have rarely seen a retail operation with a staff more dedication to customer service than this staff.My extensive experience in managing and owning customer service oriented retail operations tells me that the manager is definitely the key to this stores “over the moon” approach to making sure every customer has the best experience possible.

The "manager" who was working Sunday night on 9/9/2018 at 7:45pm is the rudest retail worker I have ever experienced. Her extreme attitude over the announcements when we had 10 minutes left to shop was unbelivable. The cashier was very nice. But never go here anywhere near closing if you don't want to be treated with disrespect and basically be forced out.

The only reason that this is a four star and not five star review is because this Dollar Tree does not have a frozen food section like others do. The staff here are always kind and helpful! I would rather shop here than other Dollar Trees because of their staff.

Better call first before you visit this dollar store. Arrived shortly after five to discover the store had been closed so they could clean the floor. I suppose no floor cleaning service could be found to clean the floor after their regular closing time of 9:00 PM? The frazzled and annoyed person who answered the door told me there was no way she could let me in even though there were still customers checking out, because the floor cleaning people had already been waiting for 10 minutes. Kind of strange.

The lady who was there made fun of us. Really rude to us. I do not recommend coming to this dollar tree. We were short 3 dollar and so we decided to put some things back to be able to pay. And also the manager there is also really rude. They were also making fun of us about our springbreak and said atfer we are done I'm going on my break while laughing. I gave this a 1 star review due to the cashier an the manager being super rude to us.HOPE SHE GET FIRED FROM THIS JOB

The managers need to be a bit more professional when addressing their staff in front of customers. If they are going to be condescending to their employees, they should do it in the back, not in front of customers. I visit this Dollar Tree often and I have noticed few incidents of unprofessional behavior,and its been from the ladies that I was told were the managers. I just felt like today, I had to say something. I felt so bad for the lady who was checking me out, and she was so friendly. I hope in the future when I visit this store that the managers have had some sensitivity training. Bad form, Dollar Tree.

This is one of the cleanest dollar trees in the area - but also has the slowest cashiers in the history of the world. I waited in line for a half hour before the manager decided to come out and help.

Bargains galore....the REAL dollar store, where everything is a dollar.I buy all my paper goods, cleaning supplies, plastic bags there, always.And a nice selection of greeting cards, party supplies and holiday decor.
