Stopped by first time to pick up some household supplies and was very impressed with 1. The large size of the store 2. The abundance and assortment of all kinds of inventory on the shelves 3. The economical prices 4. The friendliness and professionalism of the store team associates who were busily stocking and re-arranging shelves 5. The convenient location 6. The explanation offered by Store Manager about the present on-going store renovation… thank you Will, Sherry, Elizabeth, Erica, Kayla for a very kind and pleasant shopping experience we will definitely be back for our supplies. Cashier with red hair extremely rudePersonal feelings and emotions have no place in a transaction. DG is a business not an I will greet others but not you, I will give only YOU nasty looks and stares, use a provoking tone and give zero customer service.Is this the result of poor management or someone slipped out of their paygrade

Really wish this place wasn't built here.Hope it fails for the sake of the neighborhood.I'd rather see a locally owned business here.It seems to drag down the area with its aesthetic.The store is often in decent shape on the exterior, but they let it go once in a while.Inside is usually stocked and clean. Friendly staff.There's little actual value to be had at these stores.They sell reduced sized items at a seemingly good price.But the fact is you are paying either the same if not more than if you were to go to a larger store for the same product.

Shop else where. Half the items in the cooler are not priced or in the wrong spot when showing a price tag. When I mentioned the sale price to the manager after the cashier brought them over a simple price error. I was willing to show her the price where I picked out the beverages. She said, "just take them!" I refuse to be put on criminal charges for shop lifting over their lack of ambition to make sure everything is professionally laid out. I've said this before and I'll say it again. Once my lease is done in this area, it will not be missed. If it's not how you people drive (especially when my insurance tripled invrates versus where I use to live up north) it's how triggered most of you get for simple issues that can be resolved.

A walk through of this store was amazing. There have only been 3 dollar general stores that I have visited that did not have boxes cluttering the isles, items thrown all over the place, or items not in the proper location. I would rank this store #1 over for Cleanest, order, and customer service in Manatee county. Angelina was very help and respectful and does well in hospitality.

The big guy working there with the glasses and anime shirt is poor shaming customers for not having money while working at a dollar general is comical. I witnessed this man poor shame the customer in front of me. Such an unpleasant man to be in the same vicinity of. Completely atrocious attitude. I dont struggle with money but i sure as hell sympathize with struggling families and that man was so horrible in his words and actions. While the other employee sat and did nothing to stop his actions. Im so disgusted by the attitude of this worker ill never go back to this location.
