We love Dog Perfect. Olive is allergic to pollen, so she needs frequent baths. The folks here treat her like royalty, the self serve baths are clean & easy to use & there is hardly ever a wait. As loyalty members we get discounts on food & free nail trims.

I found this place after looking for dog bakeries. I stopped in to get a few treats and crown for my dog and Hailey told me about their Perfect Perks Membership. I was able to get a free stuffed fox toy for my dog’s birthday too. I love this place!

I never make bad reviews because I know that small businesses do depend on them, however, there is a serious issue with the groomer at this location. Over the last few years and three dogs, I have literally spent thousands of dollars in this store. They do have good quality food and treats and mostly very friendly employees.I recently got a smaller dog and made a grooming appointment. Twice I got a call less than two hours before my scheduled appointment saying the groomer called in and they would need to reschedule. The second time It was apparent that the groomer really was a bad employee and this was a pattern, so I said I didn't want to have a problem employee touch my dog. I was told that the third appointment would be with thier long time established groomer. Again about an hour before my third attempt at an appointment the problem employee groomer tried to call in again. I get a text saying I needed to bring him in later. When I called to find out what the issue was, I found out that they stuck me with the problem employee again and told her that if she didn't come in they would fire her so they were confident she would show this time. That's not exactly the groomer I want to groom my dog and wasn't what I was promised.I will never spend another dime in this store again.

If I had the option I would have rated them 0 stars. Two weeks ago, we were there with our Maltese dog for the first time to the groomer appointment at 3:00. First, they told us he would be ready at 5 O'clock, then 6:00 O'clock and after waiting for couple of hours, we requested to bring the dog to us around 6:55 pm, they apologize for the tardiness and stated that the groomer just finished her apprenticeship and that was why the dog wasn't ready on time. We took our dog, and in the car we noticed a smell like he didn't get a bath. Couple days after, we noticed that our dog had two lacerations, one in his left hind leg and another one in his inner thigh. Now we had to pay for vet services due to this situation because he got an infection. Definitely we will take our businesses to other place.

Great staff. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I used the do it yourself wash area and it was awesome! Easy to use and super clean. My dogs usually hate baths but they seemed to like this set up!

Dog Perfect is a wonderful place to shop, wash your dog or pick up great pet items. I joined the Perfect Club and it has been a great value. Not only do you get regular discounts on food but you have unlimited use of their dog washing stations and complementary nail trimmings. The staff is very helpful and always courteous. They carry our brand of raw dog food and it is so handy to drop by and pick some up. Their store is spotless and I really appreciate the side parking area to easily get my two dogs in and out without a hassle. They are a great addition to the shopping center.

We are visiting from NC and took our dogs to the dog beach in Venice! We had the worst experience. So we decided to take them to get a bath before going back to the house. After the absolute worst experience at the beach I was so scared to take them into this store. But the employees were so wonderful! The lady, I didn’t catch her name, but she was so helpful and so welcoming. It was the best experience! We will definitely be back the next time we visit!!

Don’t get me wrong. I love dog perfect as a store but this branch at the landings probably has the worst inventory management system I have ever seen. I have been in on four different occasions now to pick up dog food and every time I go in something is out of stock, whether it be wet food or dry food.

Very cool pet spa! Excellent varieties of raw, frozen food. The leads are made in America and chic with leather trim Been there 3 times and just got my pup. Highly recommend it.

I’ve been going to this groomer for years now. Yesterday my dog came home with $145 bill. I get my hair done at Salon 41 downtown Sarasota and it doesn’t even cost that much for my hair. They gave them the same haircut they always do. Be careful because you sign some thing saying you will pay whatever additional charges they put on for you. BEWARE!!! I will not be returning! Horrible experience! If I could give them a zero I would. They don’t even deserve one star. Don’t go to the groomer!!!!!

This is close to my house and every visit, I am welcomed with smiles and positive energy from staff members!Kyle, the nutritionist here is full of useful information and made my referred shopping experience wonderful. I went in for the first time yesterday and was sooo happy with the service I received! Every employee there was easy to talk to and very nice, someone helped me find some good options for one of my pups digestive problems and I picked out some great new things for them to try out that I could never find in other pet stores. The girl who came to the register to help me let me know about their services and about the perfect club they have, I didn’t feel pressured at all and honestly it’s a great value and I’m honestly excited to get signed up. I even went home with some surprise toys for my dogs who are both crazy chewers and they have not stopped chewing since I gave them the toys yesterday. Would 100% recommend this place, I will be going back soon! 🙂

We have been going to Dog Perfect for grooming for the past ~1 year and are even members of their program ($100 annual cost). In this time, there has been frequent turn over in grooming staff, which then leads to canceled appointments with poor rescheduling efforts. They canceled two (if not three, I don't remember specifically) of our dog's last appointments and said they would call back to reschedule. I have waited at least 1 month for them to call back, allowing them the time to shift their schedules. I never heard from them and finally decided to call. I was then told the groomers would call back to schedule. Low and behold, after I get a call back to reschedule, they now are not able to see us for another 2+ months. This is the second time this has happened to us... Poor customer care if you ask me!! Beware!! The groomers are great for the most part, but customer service is just as important. If you don't have that, you won't have customers.

Usually a good place. Haircut was great. Happy with the haircut. Groomer told me 330, then 4 and didn’t give me my dog back until 5:10. That, and Kyle’s terrible customer service takes away 2 stars.

This place was amazing. I went in looking for the food my new dog is on. Though they didn't have it their other store did. But they explained some amazing treats that will be great for my bully. Also told me about their amazing VIP club which I joined. The staff ladies are amazing and so kind. Even helped me find treats for my older dog who has no teeth. Which he loved the treats the recommended and he is picky.
