What's Up Dog is amazing!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our doodle's fur had gotten matted and too long. They were able to work miracles and avoid a super short cut. Whew! He looks beautiful.

I cannot speak highly enough of this place. My Horseshoe is a different dog. They are truly experts in the field of animal behavior. Steve and Zeke are awesome. I would recommend them for all of your dog training, boarding and essentials!

Traveling with your dog is awesome but can be stressful at times and does limit your options. Coming out of town we spent quite a bit looking for a good and trustworthy daycare to leave our pup at while we were at the beach. WUD at Santa Rosa was a life savior. Their staff is super kind and caring, you can see they are truly dog people. Our pup had the best of times, the 2nd and 3rd day he was eager to get inside! You also get a report card with pictures of your pup, texts with check in and check out notifications and can even get him groomed so he’s all clean for our roadtrip back home. Thanks WUD, Maui will definitely see y’all next time we’re in town!

We are so happy with What's Up Dog! Our Labradoodle went through the six week course with awesome Mac. She needed more training as she is stubborn. We enrolled her in the 3 week Day training. Steve has worked wonders with our pup! Highly recommend

They are terrific! Very knowledgeable about healthy options for your dogs needs. The food that they suggested for my dog has solved her allergy issues. The new grooming service is great as well!

Scammers. Don't take your dog here if you want to see them alive when you come and pick up. Idk how they're still in business in this state with all these fake reviews.Thank you for your reply. Goes on to show that you don't have it together there with a bunch of new employees. You weren't professional on the phone initially while taking down information. You failed to check in our pet properly. You didn't check any paperwork. Did not check up to date vaccinations. Upon check-out, which took 30-45 minutes. You threatened to hold our pet hostage after finally locating our correct dog. You have untrained staff that work there and this alone is a concern as to how you treat animals. No customer service whatsoever. Definitely not a competent and safe environment for your pet.

We have an 8 year old and an 11 year old dog. They have never been boarded in their lives. We had to go out of town and had no option but to do so. Our older dog, the Italian greyhound, has seizures and requires calm environments and medication twice a day. Getting the daily updates and pictures eased our minds so much and when we went to pick them up, although they were happy to see us, they were perfectly happy hanging there too! I would recommend this place to anyone anytime. They were the BEST!

This was a great experience as out of town tourists staying in the area. We were close by Santa Rosa Beach and this was easy to get to! This was our puppy's (5.5months old) first week-long boarding and she did great.I would recommend!

February of 2016, I rescued a young pit bull from PAWS. It was the best decision I ever made. The next best decision I ever made was to train with Steve and Wyatt at What's Up Dog! I hope that you noticed that I didn't say to have my dog trained at What's Up Dog. It was a team effort for Cannon and I. He did the board and train program for a month. It took me 2 more months after that to learn my part. Steve and his team are amazing!! As the owner of a small private school and a pit bull, What's Up Dog is exactly what I needed. As for daycare and extend care when you travel these guys are fantastic!

There is not a better kennel and training facility with in 100 miles of this area. We recently boarded our 2 German Shepherds and the socialization, exercise and overall well being of our dogs was exceptional. The staff and Steve (owner) take a personal interest in seeing that the dogs' needs are met and exceeded. The communication we received while we were on our trip was very much appreciated. We will not hesitate to have Steve and the staff look after our German Shepherds in the future.

What a great group of trainers! They constantly keep us updated and are extremely professional in their training. We have had bad experiences with past boarding and training - we will always trust What's Up Dog from now on. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Having my wild mini schnauzer trained by Chad has been a blessing. Chad takes his time and has patience while training my hardheaded puppy. His knowledge is to be admired. All the staff are friendly and don't mind dog kisses. There is front door parking also they sell all special healthy food items like treats and dog food. Your training and learning with your pet is just as important as well as doing homework with your pet. They do boarding and daycare if interested.

It was amazing what Steve could get Lexi to do for him. He taught us a lot about how to handle her during training. Look forward to some more help with our puppy.Update. Lexi is now a regular at What's Up Dog. Steve, and his staff have done wonders with her. We have boarded her and take her to day care once or twice a week. Couldn't be happier with Lexi's progress and we know she's in good hands when we leave her. Definitely a Five Star facility.

There are better dog trainers out there that aren’t in for the money. We met the owner Steve at Home Depot with our Cane Corso and he encouraged us to put her in their board and train program for 4 weeks. We thought we were going to have an issue with aggression but he assured us “she isn’t aggressive she is just fearful and we need to build her confidence” and they would continue to help us after the 4 weeks with “lifetime support just call and make an appointment.” After 4 weeks we pick her up from a trainer that didn’t work with her and were sent home. We went back a week later because we were having some issues. Met with the trainer that did work with her and he said “I should have been here when you picked her up” and Steve was typing up our take home instructions while we were there. It’s been a few months now after 2 canceled appointments they tell us they refuse to work with us. Apparently she is too aggressive. So “too aggressive” must be her wanting attention from there employees at the training center and also at the dog daycare. So much for “lifetime support.” They only want to fill their appointment slots with new paying customers. There are photos posted of our “aggressive” Cane Corso with her trainer that refuses to work with her.P.S. Don’t board your dogs with them. They had a German Shepherd there for a man in Iraq and it got out and was almost killed.

Steve is exceptional in training! Just had a preliminary session with him before my dog spends at least a week at What's Up Dog! His knowledge is invaluable, his help with problems will save me lots of time with a head strong puppy! Great place!

I rescued a labradoodle with anxiety and an aversion to laminate floors. Steve has been integral in giving us tools to get our dog settled in. Also, they have great boarding and dog day care. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Top notch dog training facility. Steve and his staff are all incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. What's Up Dog also gives back to the community and our veterans through their non-profit organization "Pawsitive Love" providing service dogs to those in need.

The Very best place to board near Destin or South Walton beaches. Right near state forest and state park trails and the dog park where you can play with your pup. Every staff member was super and caring during our doggies 1 week stay.

Dog training with our English Bulldog Diesel has been awesome. Chad is an awesome instructor, we will recommend this place to everyone. We travel from Navarre to Miramar Beach for the class.

I just picked my dog up from their 30 day board and train program. She came back with all of her toys (and even her collar) smelling like dog urine, has a limp in her back right leg, and is visibly terrified. They also make you sign a contract that does not allow refunds after the fact. Please take care of your dog and do not put them in this facility.

We called on our way into town. They were able to accommodate our two babies for next day. We were very impressed with the daycare, we received a midday report card with pics of our babies. That was a surprise and delight. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.
