Tahitian Gardens is definitely on an upswing. Great shops abound, of course a few favorites.Having nice public restrooms that are clean and easily accessible is a huge bonus.We always make a stop or two during our trips to Sanibel.

In Tahitian Gardens there is a nice cafe with a indie/hipster vibe. While I'm not a fan of that scene its nice to get away from the island theme sometimes. They have some excellent food and drinks at island prices. The staff is very friendly and I'll definitely make this my new coffee place on Sanibel.

It was like an old western town movie set...that was abandoned. For some reason there was nobody around. Grabbed a sandwich from Paper Fig and an scrumptious Lemon Bar. A quick stop on Wilford & Lee store to check out the Beachie Nick Naks.

Stopped here with family while I was visiting Cape Coral. My sister was looking to do some Christmas shopping and we picked the right shopping center. Tahitian Gardens has a great variety of smaller stores with something for everyone, including some good choices for a meal.Plenty of parking and a covered walkway, which was appreciated on the rainy day we visited.

A rather sad, disappointing outdoor shopping strip in which most of the shops are either closed or completely out of business.Save your time and head elsewhere, nothing worth seeing here as there are only about 5 or 6 open shops out of dozens of closed shops located in the plaza. If there is a particular shop you are interested in and know it is located in this plaza then its an easy in and easy out venture.

I love the Paper Fig restaurant there. Natural foods, clean, summer berry salad to die for. Enough for two meals or two people, employees are cautious and help keep even card machine hands free from customers.

The little card shop here is adorable, it’s a must-visit if you want fun cards to send home from your beach trip or unique cards to send out on holidays, and Cheeburger Cheeburger has phenomenal burgers and onion rings. This is a great place to stop to shop and eat if you have time to kill during an afternoon in Sanibel!

I love all the stores on Sanibel. My go to store is fresh produce. Because all their clothes are made in the us. Also the cotton they use to make their clothes is the best ever.when you wash any garment they keep getting softer and the last best review l will give this store is that their clothes last forever .

Cheeburger Cheeburger is one of my favorite places on the island. The food is actually cooked like you order. The onion rings are to die for. Its not cheap but not really expensive either.

I believe this is the second biggest shopping plaza on the island. I think it has such a great variety of stores. Love Pandoras with their cool trinkets, great place to get unique gifts! AIP Outfitters has an awesome assortment of menswear and accessories. Sanibel Cafe is there for a delicious breakfast, and the milkshakes at CheeburgerCheeburger are to die for!! They have a small place there that has organic snacks and smoothies too! Overall a great place t stop and shop!

A very nice shopping plaza featuring a wide selection of merchandise - kitchen goods, kids clothing, shoes, jewelry, soaps, and home accents. Also anchored by two very popular restaurants, The Sanibel Cafe and Cheeburger.

Great shopping complex on the island. Some of the favorites are Shiny Objects jewelry, Life is Good store, and the restaurant which has the best breakfast on the island.

Great food but the shopping is a bit of a disappointment. Bring cash with you. Most of the shops won't let you use credit cards unless you spend over 40 dollars.

Quant little strip mall with a couple great restaurants and some great little stores and boutiques. Always find myself buying something from one of the shops whenever I go there to eat.

You're on an island dependent upon the tourist trade, to a large degree, yet only open until 5 and closed on the weekend. At least, according to Google. Seems quite limited.
