There is a man on the staff here that is just AWFUL! Apparently children cannot touch the things in the children’s area without being TOUCHED (oh hell no) and yelled at. Never in my life have I had an experience like this. Will never go back. There are 20 other cute amazing places on this island with a delightful staff and the same stuff this store has. Don’t go here.

Cute little gift shop that is completely full of beautiful sea shells! My wife and I came here with our kids, and the options are almost overwhelming. If you know the kind of shell you're looking for, then thos is the place to be!

If you’re looking for the right gift especially on vacation , this is the spot , located on the beautiful one and only Sanibel island, She sells sea shells is right in the middle of the action , this little gift shop has so many varieties from little sand sharks in bottles to real shells! The creativity in this store is the winner here , upon looking at the shelves , the mind explores , from starfish to the rarest shells beneath the sea. Visit this place , and when you buy something, they add a little more to your purchase ☺️

Every time we are in Sanibel, we shop here. We have so much trouble with the name, so it's become a joke with us that we just call it "she-shell-she-shells", and we all know what we're talking about. :) I have bought so many beautiful shells here over the years and proudly display them in my "beach house" in landlocked Ohio. I hope to call Florida home one day, but right now, I have to bring the beach to Ohio. I don't care that they aren't all from Florida. If we want Florida shells, we typically go looking for them on the beach (so, yes, we do have a TON of fighting conchs). We love seashells, and there are A LOT available here, so it's fun just walking around and looking at stuff. Some are quite inexpensive - and then, you have some that are quite pricey (like, hey $500 Junonia or that huge shell that was like $800???). We just got back from FL, and we shopped here twice in 10 days. Picked up some smaller shells the first trip, but oh, I was eyeing a large Lightning Whelk and a large Murex. Kept thinking about them, so we went back a few days later and got the whelk and a few other shells. I will think about you, Murex, though, pinky promise! Next time, I swear. Or a giant horse conch (which, OMG, makes my teenager laugh every time I say it). Every time we are in Sanibel, we will probably stop here and add to our collection. So glad SSSS has reopened - it totally looks exactly the same as pre-Ian. <3

Liked this shop so much I visited twice while vacationing. Excellent customer service, and so many souvenirs to choose from. After making my selections they shipped them to me which was very convenient (@ my expense & courier preference).

This is such a cute little shop. There are multiple different shells available for purchase at a reasonable price. I thought there would be a little more options but there are other things available for purchase in the back of the shop. IT IS REQUIRED FOR YOU TO WEAR A MASK. Be sure to wrap your shells very nicely and store them on your luggage / bags more securely. They wrapped my shells for me , but unfortunately one of them broke on the way home on the plane. I would recommend checking this place out!

Wonderful place for various selection of shells. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location and easy to find. I could not bring home the shells off the beach, so I obtained a few to bring home cleaned and ready for transport.

Very nice shells, they have some cute shirts, And some funny shirts with sayings on them. I felt some of the shells that were on display we're a bit pricey. They have shells and a lock case that it looks like individuals sell to them and they are very very expensive. However, If you and the kids just want to pick out shells they do have bulk bins where you can pick out your own and they are very reasonably priced.

We think this could be the best sea shell shop on Sanibel. Very easy to get to. Nice selection of unique gifts. Priced right! This is a must stop while on Sanibel.

Walked 5 steps in with a 10 year old and the lady made a scene because there was sand that came off of our shoe when we walked in the door. Let me remind you her parking lot is sand and there was no mat on the floor when I walked in. This is not the place for you if you had a fun day at the beach and want to browse for souvenirs after.

Cute shell shop; we were surprised at how much merch is not local to Florida or made in Florida. We enjoyed shopping here last summer, but will not be back due to the rudeness of one of the owners. There is a much more reasonable shell shop with much better selection in Bonita Springs… check out Bonita Springs Shell Co! You won’t be disappointed.

We stopped by while on our honeymoon trip. They were not officially open, but the owner was there and he welcomed us in. He was apologetic that the store wasn’t quite up and running due to damages from the hurricane but he welcomed us in nonetheless. He chatted with us on where we were from and was so conversational and friendly. We were so sorry to hear what had happened to his store and Sanibel but we were so glad we stopped in. We highly recommend this store if you’re in for a visit at Sanibel Island 😊

Adorable little shop! I purchased some local sea shells and a beaded shell bracelet as souvenirs. Prices were very reasonable. When I got home to MA I opened up my bag and realized the bracelet I bought wasn’t in there. I called the store and the staff was so kind and helpful. They took my info and called me back letting me know that they would be mailing my bracelet to me. It arrived promptly! I was very pleased with the customer service! We will definitely be back next time we visit Sanibel Island!

2 star only for the shells. The employees/owner were not in any way nice or kind about the mask situation. Tiny store....if they truly cared they would limit customers in the store also.Reply to your response: Oh it wasn't the mask that was the issue. I gladly wore a mask no problem. Even regrettably spent $150.00 on shells there. It was the rudeness of the owner/employee. No worries on me ever coming back there. Your response to my review is all anyone would need to know about shopping at your establishment.
