So good but the hurricane machine is constantly “broken” (McDonalds style). Their key-lime hurricanes are to DIE for. I will keep going and say a prayer every time that someone will make me one because they are chronic. I am 1 for 3 this Sanibel trip and am really hoping they can muster the strength to make it for me one more time because ya girl is 6 months pregnant and need one badly.

It's now called Sanibel's Best Homemade Ice Cream. Really yummy flavors. We had mint chocolate chip and key lime frozen yogurt. Guys were great and friendly. They are open late, so after that dinner take a drive and enjoy a great desert!

A lot more spacious inside, and they still have all the good ice cream. Prices are reasonable. I could get a 3 scoop cone for $5.45

What a shame! Ever since the new ownership, this place is just not enjoyable. They were out of Wedding Bells (my favorite flavor) and the servers knew nothing about gluten sensitivities. If you have allergies, you should head to Joey's where they have dedicated coolers for the gluten free and dairy free options.

Great service and the workers were quick to greet and offer samples! I got a waffle cone of vanilla bean. The cone was sealed tight! Let me enjoy it longer without dripping

My husband and I took our two young daughters here for dessert. We all enjoyed it a lot. There wasn’t a weird smell like some mentioned in previous reviews so the owners must have addressed that. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The ice cream and gelato was delicious.

Very good ice cream. Veteran place with home made ice cream, including some specialty flavors. Our entire family (couple + 3 kids) enjoyed the ice cream immensely. This place is highly recommended to stop at Sanibel Island.

Large portions. Good flavors. Prices are decent, and what you'd expect for an island destination. Half their selection is gelato or sherbet, so they could probably offer some additional choices of ice cream. Good place to go for ice cream though. I'd go back.

Cute little ice cream shop. The ice cream was delicious and the portions are great. I didn't like that they only accept cash, especially in the digital age we live in today. I thought that was a bit strange. There were two girls working. One of them had a very friendly demeanor but the other one seemed like she didn't even want to be there. Overall a decent place.

Love this place! Gone here for years every time I visit. It's a family friendly ice cream shop that serves delicious ice cream. Beat the crowd or suffer the consequences and wait in a long line that sometimes goes out the door! Serving sizes are large and each sweet treat is complemented with a cute animal cracker on the top! I'll continue to come here for ice cream every year to get a favorite flavor of mine – Dirty Sand Dollar.

We loved Pinocchio's in its old location.The new location is larger, but there's a weird smell. I'm not sure if it related to any renovations they did, but it should definitely be addressed as even my toddler was bothered by it (holding his nose upon entering provisioning "Too much! Too much!". It smells kind of like bad bathroom cleaner- very chemically.The ice cream is fantastic. The service was slow.We'd go back, but would enjoy it a lot more with a better smelling shop and faster service

Awesome, traditional ice cream place! Great variety in flavors and staff is friendly! Looks a Bit "Run down" and it usually is pretty busy. Yet the ice cream is fantastic.Try the Mud Pie! Delicous! But all Others seem to be good, as well.

For being possibly the only place on the island that u can get ice cream , it's pretty decent. I mean being from cow country in PA I have had some extremely great ice cream. The flavors and toppings are good. It can get really busy at times so be prepared to wait. Overall it's worth the drive or bike ride.

It was so, so good we went 2 nights in a row. Wonderful flavors and generous shoppers. One complaint is the people flow. In such a small facility there has to be a better way to get people in and out without a lot of congestion. Very hard to walk by inside or even through the door. We went early so we could get in. We did indeed love the ice cream and will return in spite of the congestion. 😋
