I took my twins to this to for items for their birthday and birthday party. I was able to do all my shopping for presents, decorating, wrapping paper tape, toddler tables and chairs, art supplies, snacks, centerpieces, and dessert table. I did everything but the cake at dollar general.

Ha, I'm not sure how to rate a Dollar General in rural Ocala. There are several in the area and they are all exactly the same. The workers were in and out of the store which seemed odd to me but I guess that's how they do it out there. It's really the only place to pickup essential items and they some food stuffs like a small grocery store. That was surprising, but there is really nothing else out there unless you drive 45 minutes to Silver Springs. I'm giving them 4 stars for the quality of the food they stock. The bacon is weird though, it didn't cook right so watch out for that.

Im glad i transferred from ft. Mccoy DG i love my job and i love my customers. We work hard to keep this place together and we all work together to achieve it. Sometimes locals from the campground clean out our stock but we always get it back up so everyone has what they need. It makes me happy when i can help someone even if its just carrying out their groceries or helping them find something can change there entire day. And that makes me feel good.

Fantastic. I've never been a Dollar General that is stocked like this one,and very organized. The 2 employees there, Steph and a gentleman( didnt get his name) were very nice.... Definitely going back... Gotta find out his name also. Very nice guy...

Good variety to store but couldn't browse many isles due to boxes and carts everywhere while majority of staff stocked. At least 10 people waiting in line for over 10 mins while another customer searched for cashier.

We use this store regularly. Has essential groceries and other items that hold us over for a bi-weekly shopping at the big chain stores. Friendly service. They do need to update the website hours. Went there at 7:30, after seeing website posting open end at 7:00.

Seems like they never have enough staff to put Inventory out, Inventory carts sitting in aisles blocking the way. And every time I go in seems like the new freezers and refrigerated sections are half empty. not a way to keep customers.

Filthy talking workers and some customers! Terrible treatment and will never go in the Salt Springs Store again! Salt Springs Dollar General Store needs to close down. Sick!

Worst shopping experience ever. Didn't have what I needed in stock. Cashier was an older short haired lady who was just plain rude. Tried to talk to the manager, who said it was "her store", and she was even ruder than the cashier. Help this place get new management - don't shop here.

This Dollar General in Salt Springs, Fl is awesome. They offer fresh veggies and fruits and a large selection of all the thing's you don't want to have to go to the grocery store for, quick in and out.

Friendly staff and good prices. They keep everything well stocked. The people from nearby campgrounds do clean out their stock sometimes during the weekend.

They remodeled the store and its very nice but you can't get thru the aisles because there are carts of stock everywhere. Shelves are empty because stock isn't being put up. Its also a fire hazard. The store is a mess

Was so happy when we got our dollar general and even happier when you remodeled it love the fresh produce and more freezer space but since the remodel you never have anything on the shelves or in the freezers we have been forced to go way out of our way to another store something needs to be done about this we should not have to go so far to get what we need and want when there's one right down the street please fix this

Usually have a great experience today manager Stephanie is one of the rudest people I have ever met and calls herself a manager Very unprofessional. May I suggest you go to Fort mccoy if your not that far away. I spend 75- $150 every time I go there , Fort mccoy will appreciate my visits

Its my local DG! The staff get to know their customers and are always friendly or Jovial! If I need anything which can be 2 or 4 times a day theyre there to help me find what I need or get me in and out on the Go! Sometimes the wait times can be a little longer than expected but thats crunch time anywhere am I right? All in all its a Great place to shop!

It's a Dollar General in the middle of the forest. Not great actually pretty limited. It is though everything you need it to be. Staff has always been nice and never has there been something I needed that they didn't have something that would work.

I visit several Dollar Generals one to three times per week. Staff always friendly when enter store. Employees always helpful when looking for something I cannot find.

Having a Dollar General in Salt Springs has been a Godsend! Our grocery was closed down for several years, and the closest store was in the next town, so good prices on stuff like toilet paper, paper towels, milk, cereal, bread, etc was an awesome thing.

This is the dollar general in salt springs, FL. I like going here before going swimming in the springs. They always have a good selection which i believe is because of the number of snow birds in the immediate area and I appreciate that. For a while they didnt accept debit cards so I became used to just bringing cash and thats why im giving 4/5. You just never know there and I dont think it should be that way.

Went to get a garden hose . But ,was told it was out of season . Don't these people in managament ( dah ) know that stores in florida , should stock different items , than the store in South Dakota ?

One of the most complete dollar stores I've ever been in. They are one of the few in the nation I understand that offers fresh produce. The place is busy every time I go there.

As good a dollar general as you will find anywhere, and as the only general store for miles around can be considered the one stop shop of salt springs or better yet the "Salt Springs Mall"

Convenient, has a lot of good produce and frozen options prices are fair. Better than driving 20+ minutes to Walmart.
