Love this daycare! Found it while on vacation and appreciated their accommodating our 4 month old pup, Maggie, who needed some playtime. Will definitely return next year. I've been taking both my dogs, a Chihuahua and Australian Shepherd to get groomed and have been very satisfied with the care and attention they get while there for close to two years now. The staff is always friendly and professional and trust they get the best care!

Our vet is no longer doing boarding, so we needed to scramble to find a great place for my anxious wreck of a dog, and my parents dog. We saw pictures of our babies on their Facebook page almost daily, and they came home happy and healthy. Cinnamon typically comes home and eats as much food as she can after boarding, but she actually ate while boarded this time. So she wasn’t ravenous, just tired from all her fun. I’m very selective when it comes to my Baby, and we will absolutely bring her and Belle back here.

I took Beau to doggy day care for the first time and he loved it! I like the way, they did a two-step meet and greet process with the other dogs. I was able to see him on the camera and watch his progress. At the end of the day, I was able to go onto Facebook and see photos of him from his day. The best news is that when I took him home, he slept for six hours straight. He was exhausted. He gives it a two paws up review!

Your pet is gonna love it. Let them enjoy a half day/full day or extended overnight stay while you go on vacation. Friendly staff & a very layed back atmosphere. Very reasonably priced. Our large dog loves it. All you have to do is say we are going to Sheldigrens & he is standing at the door ready to go. Staff monitors the activities and interactions with other dogs. Our dog is exhausted and sleeps quite well after a day of play with the other animals. Give them a try. Recommended by a friend & recommending to others.

Marianne and her entire crew are truly the best. Our Pablo pup and Zephyr kitty truly enjoyed their 5 night stay. Although it is hard to leave our pets to travel, by leaving them in Sheldegren's care, thisleaves us worry free and we feel supported. I think the pets view it as a sort of summer camp. We use them for boarding one cat and one dog and we have never had an issue. Our cat is on meds and do not worry about the ability of the staff to handle any issues. We just recently tried their grooming on their last visit and they look great!! Good fair prices and a top notch staff. I already recommend them to everyone. We live in Palm Harbor and it is worth the drive. Thanks staff you guys rock!!

I'm writing this simply in reference to dog grooming. I took my dog to them for the first time on 6/1/23. I explained that I wanted his face cleaned up and that they could take just a small amount (1/4 ") off his body fur. When I got him home and paid attention to the results, I found that his face still showed at least 2 inches of discolored fur and that hair was still interfering with his eyes and annoying him. I called and expressed my concerns. I also sent an email. A receptionist called me back and said she would let the groomer know. As of today (6/8/23) I have heard nothing. Sheldegren is convenient to my home but I will not use them again for any service because I don't trust them to be responsive.6/10/23 Amy, the groomer, did call me after my Google review was posted and we scheduled a correction visit this morning. Eddie looks much better. She told me she wouldn't have taken so much hair off his face without consulting me. I still have this question: why didn't the groomer meet with me before the first grooming visit and find out, specifically, what I wanted? Someone there did come out and question me very briefly but she was not a groomer (Amy tells me she's the only groomer there). This all could have been avoided if that minor consultation had occurred.

I can’t say enough about this place to do it justice. My wife is 6 months pregnant and was hospitalized while I was working in NY. They kept our pup Ava for 4 nights and not only took great care of her, but every time we called they asked how we are doing, and if everything is okay. Their sincerity means so much to us. Baby is okay thank God, and here is Ava finally home sleeping on my wife’s big belly 😊 she’s so pooped from having a great time at this place as always!! Oh and also - because we have a day care package, we only paid for the boarding and days we’re free! Thank you guys for being so amazing.

I took my dog there back on December 2016 for 2 weeks. They were very nice and use to post pictures of my dog on Facebook that I could see while I was out of the country, but after a week I didn't see any more pictures of my dog. When I came back from traveling to pick my dog she was like 10 pounds less and you can see all her ribs and vertebrate. I was so surprise and upset that I just took my dog home like that. When I got home I realize that she was also vomiting so I took her to my vet and we took care that. In no time she was able to get her weigh back by just eating. I was very obvious that you visually see that something was wrong with her and nothing was done to take care that. You can't say that she didn't want to eat because I know her and that is her passion, she is always looking for food. I just decided not to take her there any more and better took her to may vet All Pet Care. They are really more professional and did an excellent job last time, more $$ but I felt relaxed traveling knowing that my dog was in good hands.

This is the only kennel I take my dog to now. The staff love my dog and take such great care of him. He's an older dog and they know how to make him comfortable.

My Rhodesian loves it. He has lots of friends to play with during the day. And a nice kennel size appropriate for eating and sleeping. The staff are attentive and caring. They take lots of pictures of your pets stay and post them every day. They monitor everything going on persians with cameras. I am very satisfied with my pets care.

We were very pleased with our first visit to have our Golden Retriever Marley groomed at Sheldegren. They had their hands full with him, plus he had some really bad knots behind his ears and his feet really needed to be cleaned up. He looked fabulous when we picked him up and came back stress free which was awesome. We definitely will be back!

It's the first time we left our puppy Yorkie Cooper in this center and it's the worst thing we could have done, Cooper is in a deplorable state, he doesn't pay attention, he doesn't recognize us, he's like in a limbo, it smells really bad, it looks like another puppy . I don't know what they did to him but it's really bad. Be alert with this center, for now I will take Cooper to the Vet. The worst place for your pet Sheldegren Pet Resort. am adding the photo before and after leaving the center. The one before is where he appears happy walking, now in this moment look how he left the center look at his face! My son is super sad and cries to see how his puppy is.

I walk in the park across the tracks from this "Resort" and can hear a man aggressively screaming at the dogs and berating them, and that's only what I heard. God only knows what else is going on. I don't know who this person is but they should not be taking care of other peoples animals.

So far the experience has been well. Taking my puppy for their puppy training class on Saturdays. The owner is nice and the other staff i talked to. The classes have been helpful, even with my stubborn pup.

I can not say enough about this incredible facility! To begin we had a rather serious issue with our Beagle Cooper who had never been boarded or with a large group of dogs before while eating. (Or around females as he is unable to be neutered due to a bad liver) and he is mildly anxious as well. Needless to say a rather nasty fight broke out and he had to be immediately removed from the day car setting for the safety of the other animals as he was the aggressor. This was a shock to us as he has NEVER so much as growled at another dog the whole two years we have had him. Needless to say Sheldegren saved not only the day but also our vaca as we were 6 hours away in the Keys and my husband would have had to leave on our second day there to go get Cooper. But Sheldegren sent a shuttle van and was at the day care to pick up Cooper and transition him to their facility within a matter of an hour. Cooper settled right in at their lovely facility and was quite comfy there the whole week without further incident. Thankfully the incredible staff there observed him carefully for any aggression and anxiety and said he was the perfect gentlemen and sweet tempered dog the whole time there even around other dogs. So so grateful for their care and speedy response to our situation! HIGHLY RECOMMEND their doggie day care boarding and spa. Will only be using them for Cooper in the future!

Our dogs cannot wait to get inside when we bring them to daycare. They try to push the gate open with their noses to get inside. That tells me all I need to know because they do not react that way everywhere. The staff is great, I know my dogs are in good hands!

Great doggy daycare. The people are kind and care for my pup. She starts whining to get their faster about 2miles away. She absolutely loves going to play w her friends. Also have used them to trim her nails and they do a good job w that too.

It was our first time looking to board our cat, he's an exotic shorthair so he needs his face cleaned daily but also he really doesn't like to be alone so we didn't want to put those responsibilities on family - I'm so happy I found Sheldegren.We brought him there a week before for their monthly vaccine clinic so he could be boarded, and knew right away it was the best place for him. The staff is so friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly loves animals and cares a lot about their well-being.Long story short, we've just brought him home and they did an excellent job caring for him. He's very clean and healthy, and as much as he's happy to be home with us, clearly misses the staff and has been looking for them around the house. We will definitely be returning here if we need to board him again.

Customer service at this place of business is excellent. They were very accommodating and understanding with my schedule changes which I know can be frustrating. Throughout all of the changes, the staff remained kind to me. Unlike most kennels, they provide photos on their Facebook page of the dogs in their care. I have yet to pick up my pup but I can tell that he’s being taken care of and is enjoying himself. I also got him groomed here and it looks superb. Thank you all at Sheldegren for the excellent service and kindness.

Out pup comes home exhausted every time he goes to see his friends. The staff here is phenomenal and we trust them all with our dog. Our puppy is going on 8 months and he's been going here to play for 5 months. There was one time that he was mounting other dogs and they took the time out to correct that issue. We have never seen it but have total trust that he did and thankful it was brought to our attention while starting the correction. Sheldegren is a gem. Thank you all for all you do!!
