OK !!! I usually never stop for lunch but I was really hungry today. I have been told about Daddy Dawgs before and being a TRUE Hot Dog lover I gave them a shot. The 2 Natural Casing dogs in a steamed poppy seeded bun were excellent and the perfect combination of toppings that I ordered on them. The young lady that took my order was very sweet and the young man that prepared my order was spot on. !!!! Yes I will be returning very soon. They have a very nice size menu with plenty to choose from, but remember to save room for dessert they have ice cream and awesome desserts to choose from, support this Great Mom & Pop Oasis.

We finally had a chance to give this place a try. We order the angus jumbo Chicago style and the Coney Island regular dog. We also ordered onion rings and a chicken sandwich just to try something different than just the hot dog.Both hot dogs wasn’t bad. It is hard to make a hot dog fancy looking but they did a good job. The onion rings are not bad.The girl did a great job of taking care of us! Very top notch.Overall, it is a place you definitely want to try out. It is not a fancy spot and more of a local eatery.

A local gem with great hot dogs, comfortable atmosphere and top notch service. Perfect place to come if you're hungry and you have a sense of humor. Good place to bring the kiddos, got to enjoy some dad-tier jokes from the staff. The owners are originally from New Jersey and the vibes definitely remind me of a hole-in-the-wall hot dog and ice cream shop you'd find up north. My family has ordered out, had delivery and dined in at Daddy Dawgs and we've never been disappointed.Kid-friendliness: My kids ate all their food (high praise) and loved all the hot dog comics lining the walls.

MICROWAVE CITY!Had 3 hot dogs. Young girl behind the counter microwaving the buns. The buns tasted like a blob after being microwaved! Then she microwaved the chili. Then using gloves started picking the chopped onions one at a time with her fingers to put in my hot dog even though she could have used the spoon that was in the chopped onions. She said, it was easier this way.Hot dogs, nothing special! The chili isn't your typical chili, it appeared to be a mystery meat and mushy. They can keep their microwave ovens!

Amazing shakes made with real ice cream tons of flavors. Hot dogs are great, but my wife and I tried cheeseburgers and were a bit disappointed, the patties were pretty cooked. The dogs don't disappoint, still highly recommend trying this place. Great customer service.

First time eating here. We had it delivered. It was delicious! The dogs were so good. We got chili cheese, Chicago dog and grilled cheese dogs. For dessert hot fudge vanilla ice cream sundae and a root beer float. We highly recommend ALL of these items! We will definitely be eating here again. Perfect for watching football games on Saturday instead of our usual and to often eaten pizza.

Outstanding family run eatery in Safety Harbor! We live 15 miles from there and wanted to get Chicago Hot Dogs. Our favorite place for that, Bruce's Chicago Dogs has closed up for good. We searched the web and found Daddy Dawgs.They have Chicago Style Hot Dogs, Kielbasa, Brats, Chicago Beef sandwiches and more. Draft root beer in frosty mugs and Hershey's Ice Cream!The Waffle fries are excellent too! This will be a regular stop for us from now on. The folks that own and run it are from Jersey too!

Support local family joints (Jersey?). This time, I had the Corny dog (Nathan's dog with chili, mustard, onion) and a custom dog (Sabrett with kraut, onion, ketchup, pickle). The Sabrett dog had an off taste and I didn't eat it. Perhaps stick to the regular dogs? Wish the buns were also slightly steamed to bring freshness into the bread. The last time I ate here, the dogs were pretty good so this maybe just a coincidence. Definitely worth a try.

Classic little Mom and Pop shop. The menu has every type of hot dog you can think of plus burgers and other goodies. I had the Chicago dog with Vienna beef and all.It was very good. We stopped by here after seeing the advertising truck driving down the road. We were greeted immediately. Staff was friendly, the prices are great. The waffle fries are delicious. Plenty of ice cream flavors to choose from. Planning on trying out the monster sunday in the near future.

Small shop but a large menu. Food was hot, delicious and not over priced. Specialty dogs like, pretzeldogs or mac n cheese hot dogs. I especially liked dessert (see picture below) a fully customized banana split. We were waited on by Justin today. He was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. He even had a few jokes! I'd recommend the brown butter truffle ice cream, it's to die for!!

I order from them quite frequently on Uber eats and I have to say it’s one of the only restaurants that always gets my orders correct, the ice cream is always still frozen solid not a single melted spot and the hotdogs are not only amazing but also always hot and fresh no matter what time or day you order from them! Also the staff is always so polite to answer any of my questions when I call, definitely recommend if you’re looking for a great hotdog/ice cream place!
