This has been the best vet office my partner and I have experienced! Dr. Grennon was extremely helpful, saw our baby tortoise same day emergency, and took him in again when he wasn't looking well a few days later.This office acted fast, called weekly to check how our little guy was doing and was straight forward with his diagnosis and prognosis.Our little tort is now thriving and back to his old self since we started the prescribed treatment.

I just want to say that I have never found a veterinarian that I truly liked as much as Dr. Grennon for the care of my ferrets. As exotic pets, there aren’t many vets that know about ferrets & their diseases. When I first brought one of my ferrets to see Dr. Grennon, I was really impressed with how thorough and knowledgeable he was. He also has/had ferrets which is always a plus! He is currently trying to figure out what is going on with one of my little guys right now & he has been so kind through the experience and takes the time to explain everything to me. If you have a ferret, I would definitely recommend Dr. Grennon. :) Not only that, but the technicians/front staff are also very friendly. They keep in touch through text (which i really appreciate) constantly checking on my ferret to make sure he’s doing okay. I’ve never seen a vet clinic do this before!

First time visit with my rabbit "little one". Customer service and bedside manner, my rabbit was wonderful.The follow-up phone call to check on "little one" were unexpected - but well received. Showed compassion and concern about my rabbit. Doc and staff were awesome.

I am the owner of a Private Zoo, Located in Lake County Florida, I have maintained a business relationship with Dr. Woodman and his staff for a few years now and I figured it was time for a Raw, Honest review. I have worked with many veterinarians, I have a few veterinarians I work with for my Zoo in Lake County Florida.Although, Dr. Woodman is the furthest( 2 hour drive ) from my facility, He is my go to veterinarian every time. From my Clouded Leopards to my domesticated house pets you will not find a more knowledgeable, humble, passionate professional veterinarian out there. As I leave Dr. Woodman’s office today with a sick puppy, I know my fur baby has the best treatment plan created by Dr. Woodman. (As, that has been the case more times than I can count).If you’re looking for a well educated veterinarian that will care about your animals with many years experience keeping our pets heathy look no further. 😊

I took my pets there many years ago and was very favorably impressed. The care was excellent. The reason I left is that they charged $5 for them to throw a syringe into a contaminated needle box. As a nurse I have probably done the same thousands of times. No patient was ever charged a penny. I have great respect for vets in general and am very aware of the years and cost of their education and the emotional and financial price of owning a practice. So, yes, their charges are high which I understand. On the day I had my cat there he had a tick on him that the tech easily plucked out. The Dr glanced at it afterwards so in addition there were all the usual charges. I believe the syringe had been used to administer antibiotics- another reasonable charge. It was the $5 that made me switch vets, having first found out that the new one did not charge for “removal of contaminated waste.”

Moving to a new city can be scary. Finding new healthcare for our pets was a priority, and after a couple of less than successful practices, we found the Animal Hospital of Northwood. Their staff is friendly and put us at ease. The Veterinarians are both knowledgeable and, more importantly, they listen to your concerns and explain things thoroughly. Going to their office is almost like visiting a friend's home. They know all of our dogs and ask about them if they aren't along for the visit. They are a little further away from our house, but I'll drive the extra distance for the extra special care my dogs receive.

I transferred animal clinics and chose Northwood because of all the amazing reviews. I have to say, the clinic is clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful. And the doctor was attentive and caring! Very happy with our new clinic!

We switched over to Animal Hospital of Northwood when we needed to see a vet, and our original was not available (happened several times).Animal Hospital of Northwood offers urgent care hours and is also open on Saturdays. After a positive experience with the urgent care and the staff reaching out several times to make sure our pup was responding to treatment, we decided this was the place for us. We switched providers and have been very happy with their services, the staff, the app, the follow up, and the on line store.We are confident in our choice and will continue to seek urgent and annual care from Animal Hospital of Northwood.

The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. For our our first time there it was absolutely an amazing experience. We recently adopted a bearded dragon and are new at the whole reptile pet parent thing. The Dr took his time, we weren't rushed, he was patient, answered all our questions and assured us that we were on the right track. Definitely recommend.

Us “human healthcare providers” can be so difficulty discerning when it comes to the zoological healthcare space that finding Veterinarian specialists who care for our fur and feathered family members can be daunting. Dr. Grennon lives his training as an avian specialist to the highest standards we human practitioners find to be a distinct and impressive rarity. His exotic breed diagnostic skills were confirmed as well on point I learned of his amazing diagnostic acumen from referral of our African grey, Sugar, to the U. of Fl . Small Animal Hospital in Gainesville Monday which confirmed his impressions of a sophisticated syndrome. In fact his colleagues at Northwood are as hospitable, professional, and exude exceptional caring for their patients.

We brought our 4 month old Mini Schnauzer puppy in for an emergency at 7:30am. I fully believe the quick acting staff and the knowledge of Dr. Woodman saved our little puppy from the unthinkable. I was so impressed by the entire practice, especially Dr. Don Woodman. They are now going to be our forever Vet for our new puppy, and our 9 year old Mini Schnauzer. Thank you Don Woodman, and the entire team at Animal Hospital of Northwood!! The picture below is the day we brought her home. Our puppy Millie is happy and healthy! One more thing; We received picture updates via text from the Vet, and phone calls. They made sure to keep in touch with us so much we never had to worry about calling them for updates. This was a HUGH stress reliever.

Friendly and knowledgeable animal loving establishment. April, Judy, Wendy, Melissa and Dr. Teresa Smith were all so welcoming to me and my newly adopted dog Blackie Chan a Chug Pug and Chihuahua mix. They took their time and put him at ease and we’re very kind and thorough in their examination. Dr. Smith provided some great practical solutions for his health and interventions for behaviors. I highly recommend this vet office.

We've been taking our dog Cali, a 12.5 year old French bulldog to Animal Hospital of Northwood for the past 5 years. They've always treated our girl with great care and explained the treatment plans as needed to deal with our girl's health issues. I am forever grateful for the time a few years ago when they stopped everything to treat her from a poisonous encounter with a deadly Buffo toad and saved her life. If you're looking for a solid vet partner to care for your beloved furry family member, you won't be disappointed with Animal Hospital of Northwood.

Always did great for our dog! Took expert care of him as if he was theirs. They did great following up after care, and always followed through with prescriptions efficiently.I would trust them with all future pet care needs. Unfortunately I moved away from the area and could not bring them with me. I am in search of a new vet, hoping to find a new one that is as good as this.

This is one of the best if not the best vet clinic we have ever been to. They are amazing on every single level! We started here 10 years ago but then had to move away and just recently came back to Dr. Woodmen after an emergency situation with our pup. They have been so attentive and so responsive. They have called every few days to check on our doggy and make sure she is doing good. When our puppy was in their care and had to spend the entire day with them, they texted us pictures and updates almost every hour. They have taken amazing care of us and our doggy! Dr Woodmen also is very knowledge and is very helpful in stressful situations to address things calmly and help us process our doggy’s diagnosis. As long as we are in FL, this will be where we go for everything for both our dogs. I can’t recommend them enough! Every single person in this office goes above and beyond which is a rarity in today’s society!

My experience at Northwood has always been excellent! Dr. Woodman and all of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They are kind to their customers and they clearly just love animals. Even when the receptionist calls to remind you of your appointment, you feel welcome and appreciated. They are attentive, timely, and assist you with all decision options. These people make you feel like family and have an uncanny ability to make sure that your pet feels loved. I cannot think of a better place to take your pet and have no reservations giving this practice a five star rating.Thank you for your service and for keeping my pet healthy and happy :-)

What an incredible office! My dog was in terrible agony and they took my dog in as soon as they opened. The vet spent a long time with us and actually listened to our questions and concerns. He did everything in his power to make sure we found the source of the problem and he did. He is very professional, extreme kind, and knowledgeable. I absolutely recommend bring your sick little one here! I had an X-ray and a few other things for $200. I think they’re prices are great compared to others! We first brought our dog to an emergency clinic; they didn’t do a single thing to help my dog. I’m incredibly happy with the service and treatment my dog received and she is now back to her normal self!

I have been coming here for years And it is going down hill. Rascal had teeth cleaned and 4 removed plus cytology nov.1 they asked for him to come back to check the ears 2 weeks so I do plus diarrhea he had but here's the kicker they did his ears 2 weeks later the young vet does a ear cleaning and charges extra for the visit they asked for. Now $69 office visit $57 for recheck and $38 to clean ears that had just been done. So $95 extra over the office visit which should be 69.00 sorry to say greed has set in they will have an excuse as I see but my bag I will not bring rascal back there greed has taken over
