Very nice staff, and of course a very vocal receptionist (Tater the dog 😅). I definitely reccomend bringing your fur kiddos here 😁They have a special currently that as a new patient you only pay $1.00 (usd) for an exam which was extremely helpful for the holiday money crunch!

I absolutely cannot rave enough about this practice. I have now been here three times with our pets. I am always offered same day or next day access to see the vet. My wait time has never been more than five minutes. Dr. Finkelstein and his staff are absolutely phenomenal. They sit and talk with you, listen and explain every detail of your pet's plan of care. And most of all the pricing is reasonable. I am absolutely thrilled to have found such an awesome clinic.

Went for a second opinion and Dr Brett was awesome and took his time with my senior pup and to go over a treatment plan for him. Great staff. No push for unnecessary test that would stress my guy out. Definately going to switch the rest of my fur babies (3 dogs and 3 cats) to him.

Took my dad's cat here and they were very nice. Dr. Brett was very kind and gentle with her and called me right away with test results. We were very pleased with our treatment at this office.

Was a loyal patron for many years with 3 animals. Dr. Bret cannot perform surgery or conduct investigative procedures for blood or skin issues so he was often referring us to other vets for that work and we'd pay 2 exam fees in the process. We decided to get a second opinion on a skin issue one of our dogs could not manage and asked for our records for that one dog. It was a huge hassle but it worked out. But the next time I went to get that dogs meds- the good Dr. said to tell me I had 1 weeks worth of her needed medicine and to find another vet. Since I took my records for the second opinion, my dog was no longer his patient? Never asked about my other animals. WOW. He really doesn't care about your pets as much as he does your $ and his ego.

He saved my daughter’s life! I have a Brussels Griffon named Sacha and she was bit by a brown recluse. I went to another vet (moved) and they wanted to wait to do more testing, and more testing. I immediately called Brett for a second opinion. He had Sacha in within the day and referred to a Surgical specialist immediately. Sacha has surgery the next day and is still healthy and living today because of Brett. Brett also cared for my Pekingese Cosmo until his end of loving days.I wish there were Vets this caring and understanding, compassionate & knowledgeable throughout the world.

Animal Associates is within walking distance to my home, which is why I chose this office for my now 11 year-old kitty. I am so glad I did too because they know exactly what they are doing and were very good with my kitty. The vet was the first one ever that my kitty did NOT hiss at! I thought that was interesting.

My husband and I love these folks. We've been going to Animal Associates since 2005. Six years ago they they helped us through the painful and difficult time of putting our 20-year old cat down with compassion and sensitivity. Most recently, they have been seeing our 6 year old male cat (who is a total diva). Dr. Finkelstein has such a way with him. And Angel always goes out of her way to help with refills and follow-up. They also matched the price we found on-line for Revolution. We highly recommend Dr. Brett and Angel!

I think Dr. Finklestein at Animal Associates has the best interest of his patients and his pets owners in mind. The staff is great and the location is convenient. Please try this Animal hospital if you need a new vet.Re: OMG - I am sorry, but what do you think it costs to run a state of the art animal hospital? The rates t Animal associates are competitive with all of the other vets and animal hospitals in the area and the staff are caring, friendly and kind. Please do not associate your lack of financial capabilities with the costs of care in today's world.

We were one of Dr. Finkelstein's first clients when he first opened his practice in an office in Oldsmar. After many years we relocated, but our animals couldn't take the drive without getting sick so we changed to a closer vet. Shortly thereafter, the new vet misdiagnosed our diabetic cat, sending him into a horrific seizure after bringing him home one evening. We franically called Dr. Finkelstein for help. He wouldn't help us because we did a "switch-er-roo" to another vet. Very disappointing especially after knowing him so many years. Reading other reviews, this seems to be common behavior if you are his client and involve another vet. I do not recommend this vet..I believe he is more focused on increasing profit than caring for animals.

Dr. Finkelstein, Angel and the staff at Animal Associates are helpful, warm and knowledgeable. They are really down to earth, compassionate and actually care about animals. The office itself is clean and bright. Recommended for sure!

Everything was okay until I moved and realize in the middle of my move that I needed to get my dog prescription filled. they nearly flat out refused to send info to my new vet just so I could get a refill. (testing for the meds had been done just 3 months ago) they claimed they could not email it, they didn't even say we'll let me call a pharmacy near you so your dog can get the meds she needs. I just found them very cold towards me and my dog who had been in their office at least five times. I feel so left out in the cold by these guys.
