Unprofessional store. Recently went into in this store and as I walked in, no employees were in sight. Until i walked towards the back of the store which all the workers were just standing there talking to eachother while people are waiting in the front for a cashier . These workers are on their phones, walking around , not doing their job. This store is full of minor/young employees which are not experienced. I wanted to create a tag for my pet and I needed some help , could not find a single employee near. Yet when I was ready to purchase items . This cashier was taking their sweet time with a customer and creating a unnecessary convo when their was a long line of people waiting. 2 other employees clearly saw the line and one of them was just sitting down on a laptop and the other just pulled their phone out and walked away . Unprofessional.

Bought a bird cage from them the quality was very bad so i prepared to return it . I took the cage to the store before the 30 day period ends to return it. The girl took it and said cant give me money back and handed me their store credit to buy from them. This is unacceptable I paid with cash while buying it now when returning it you wont give me the money but give me your store credit . What am I gonna do with this much pet store credit. While buying they even said if returned among the 30 days I will get the money back. This doesn bring back customers to your store period!!

I went into the aquatic department to buy a live plant for my fish tank and almost every fish tank had many dead fish in them. I didn't feel comfortable buying anything from those tanks. Products are also overpriced.

Can I give negative stars?? Geeezzzz what an unprofessional business!!! I would NEVER EVER buy from them online EVER again!! I ordered dog food because I have dogs with allergies so this particular dog food is the only one that they can eat. My local store was out and I was desperate so I ordered 2 bags from this place. 6 days later I STILL haven't received the food so I check my account and THEY NEVER SHIPPED THEM!!! They CANCELED my order BUT NEVER TOLD ME!! So now I have 2 days worth of food and I am scrambling to find their food. SERIOUSLY DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Everyone is always so nice and helpful. Heads up though it’s best to call and ask if the item you need(for example live crickets) is in stock before driving there.

This place literally never has crickets in stock for more than a few hours. They go against store policy by setting crickets aside for specific customers. If you can’t get there in the early afternoon on a Tuesday, you’ll have to purchase feeder crickets elsewhere.Why don’t they purchase enough crickets to meet demand? As the only pet store in the immediate area, it was absolutely maddening attempting to buy feeder crickets from this place when I lived in the area. Fortunately, I have since moved. I will never spend a dime at any PetSmart again. I’m now a loyal Petco customer!

I have 2 large dogs and a cat, Pet Supermarket is a lifeline! Good value, loyalty programs with cash back, great selection. They also have vet appointments and cleaning on scheduled days.

As this is the closest (by far) pet store to my home, I’ve visited quite a few times. I have always had an enjoyable experience, until the other day. The store manager appears to be their rudest employee.I recently rescued a dog, who previously lived outside & is infested with fleas.I visited seeking flea shampoo & a flea comb. I found the flea shampoo, without issue, but couldn’t find the flea comb.I went toward the register where there were 2 employees, the girl was engaged with another customer, the male, store manager, was not.I politely asked where to find the flea combs. He responded “behind the shampoo,” I said could you repeat that. He now, annoyed replied “behind the shampoo.”I thought that description was odd, however, proceeded back to the aisle I was just in, no flea combs. I then went down each aisle, until I got the the 3rd aisle down, where the flea combs were actually “next to” the regular shampoos.I was a little taken back at his obvious annoyance that I actually had to ask for help finding something to purchase, in his store.As an understanding person, I can toss it up to maybe a bad day.When I proceeded to the register, I said, “by the way, the flea combs are 3 aisles from the flea shampoo.” He replied, now quite annoyed, “I told you it was behind the shampoo”I said, no it’s actually next to the regular shampoo & again, 3 aisles from the flea shampoo I am also purchasing. I surely hope you nicer to your employees than you are to customers. His reply, “oh you’re a real peach.”That so-called man, is juvenile & flat out ignorant. Given my experiences with the other kind and helpful employees at that same store, I would recommend the district manager train one of them to replace him.It’s time for a succession plan to be put in place. It doesn’t take much effort to be polite, as someone who works in HR I pride myself on how I treat people in customer service roles, I know many are tired from lack of staff support, but that’s no excuse to be so obnoxiously ignorant.

Staff was friendly but the sales floor was a mess with a pallet of merchandise and a giant bin to recycle boxes sitting smack dab in the middle. When it came to insects for feeding reptiles, they were all dead. Horn worms, roaches, large crickets and small crickets. Not only were they dead, the “food” for them was infested with maggots. When I brought this up to the staff, I was told it was result of the shortage of feeders. That doesn’t explain why they had dead product on the shelf. Furthermore, we found one of the snake habitats unlocked. Their $600 (most expensive) species of Ball Python. Per the employee it was an aggressive one that strikes often.

They are pretty friendly. As long as you have your receipt and have 70% of the product, they give you no problem either exchanging or giving you credit

After purchasing a clown loach with ick and getting no customer support and losing an entire tank of fish that I've had since they were fry, I dropped my 5 star to one. Time to find a reliable store that cares.

Recently they treated some of my people quite rudely in store, another couple friends made calls to them to ask some questions and they were treated rudely over the phone so I wouldn't know I don't go there I called there myself a couple times the other day for a couple days in a row but I never was able to get anybody.

I called to see if they had a specific Canin Puppy food. The nice man said that they did, so I drove all the way there unfortunately to find out they actually were out of it. If you live near this area you know how really bad traffic is. So not only did I waste my time but also gas and had to fight traffic on a fictitious fopa ... thanks for nothing !!!!

Went in this past Sunday to purchase fish and ended up not buying any. Many many dead and decaying fish in the tanks and even some had ich. Mentioned it to the staff and was dismissed. Be very very careful purchasing aquatic animals from here because you will end up diseasing your existing tank and animals. Very bad that a pet store who is supposed to care for animals has this going on.

Pet stores like this are just disheartening to come across. The fish tanks here are littered with dead fish causing living fish to get sick while employees just stand around bsing at the front of the store. All the peacock gudgeons have swollen abdomens, and not because they're pregnant females, because of the terrible water conditions. 😒

I am about sick and tired of the attitudes of some of the employees in this store! We walked in to get a dozen crickets for our leopard gecko and we were told they were out when they had over 50 in the tank. They claimed that they needed all of them for their very few reptiles that they have in the store. Now, mind you, this is the ONLY pet store located in this area that carries feeder insects and rodents, so yes, they are usually low. But today was plain laziness and rudeness. They could have sold us a dozen and still had plenty for their animals.

This place should not sell pets they look so unhealthy every time I go. I continuously come in to see if they have crickets and never do, even on days they say theyre is supposed to come in.
