I met Jake about 2 months ago when I was purchasing a tank and wanted to speak to somebody knowledgeable and somebody that had a great selection of corals. Bingo, he is the man. He has an extensive collection and great prices to go with it. He didn’t yes me to death and sell me things I didn’t need or corals I would kill due to lack of knowledge.He is extremely knowledgeable about his trade and really good at what he does. I purchased a tank in Tampa from a gentleman That I met on Facebook marketplace and I went with him to buy it, break it down, transport it, and set it up in my house. He gave me a very fair price and was very informative. I have had him over to help me with some water changes and dial in the tank to perfection. He has done an outstanding job! I would highly recommend him to anybody looking to purchase corals or needs any kind of tanks services. Thank you so much Jake and I really appreciate you.

I have tried to visit this store 4 times already. Each time I call ahead of time to make sure the owner is there only to show up and find the shop closed. I don't see how you can do business if a shop is always closed. If I were you I would just concentrate on your normal LFS that is reliable and open when they say they are.

Hidden gem for high quality aquacultured corals. Jake has everything from softies to high end acros/montis and all are reasonable priced. Jake is extremely meticulous and it shows in his grow tanks. Nice meeting you Jake and I'll be back for sure!

Every reefer in Tampa bay should visit Jake in Ruskin. I was really impressed with his quality, knowledge and most of all SIMPLICITY. I visited all the coral shops in Tampa Bay and i dont think anybody can come even closer
