This is an incredible store and staff. I found exactly what I was looking for at an unbelievable close out price. The staff went over and beyond my expectations to make this a wonderful shopping experience. They had what I wanted and I was able to take it home that day unlike Home Depot that wouldn't allow me to take it home, made me schedule a delivery a week out and then didn't bother showing up to deliver my purchase 🤬😡. Thanks to Josh, John and Beverly that made this transaction a pleasure and earned my business from now on 🙂

Lowes does not care about its customers. They had a fencing company (Florida State Fence) come to my home and improperly install the fence with half the concrete and then did nothing to help me. Each post is supposed to get a bag of concrete and the did not do that. I have photos to prove it and it was completely ignored by Lowe’s and the fencing company. I will not shop at lowes for anything in the future. DO NOT USE EITHER OF THEM.They also left a mess with dirt thrown everywhere along with the crews lunch trash and these metal pieces everywhere.

Their Garden Shop is one of the best I have ever been to. It is why I keep returning to Lowe's Garden Shop because they have the best cared for plants I have ever found besides a landscaper. Their prices in that area are excellent and everything is very healthy. The employees are very helpful, very nice and friendly. I have additionally purchased other items at Lowe's, and they assisted me when I needed it. Most of the time, when I go to the other store, nobody addresses me at all. I have had to search high and low for someone to assist me, but at Lowe's, they register that I am somehow lost, and they always come to my rescue. Additionally, the other store no longer offers veteran benefits, and Lowe's still does with a great deal of respect. This is the place I shop for all my household needs. Thank you Lowe's for doing such an outstanding job!

I went to Lowe's to get a drawer bottom which I and to make from scratch. Thankfully Andrew helped us make the drawer bottom from a slab of plywood. Andrew took the perfect measurements from the drawer example and cut them perfectly. The painting section staff where very helpful George help us out choosing a good color for the drawers. If i ever need anything il be coming back to this Lowe’s.

No respect for a senior citizen and veteran. All over a hose that they can screw up someone else's day with. The ad said that it was on sale until May 1, 2024. Great deal I thought. I guess not both cashier's argued with me. I put everything on the counter and left! It wasn't worth my drive to Gibsonton Lowe's.

I had the pleasure of working with a gentleman named Winfred. His customer service was outstanding. I shared some information about a project I am working on. He asked a few questions to ensure he understood what I needed. He made a few recommendations that actually helped me and saved me a lot of time and money. I was so impressed with his knowledge of the products and his eagerness to help me. I truly felt valued. His customer service was truly exceptional. If you ever have plumbing questions, he is the MAN!!!

Located in Riverview, this Lowe’s has ample parking and area for pick up.They have good specials for Memorial Day. We went to get some items to fix some of the areas in the house. They did not have the products needed.The store seems to have limited staff to support the clients visiting the store.

My wife is a veteran and has gone through the process to get the Lowes veteran discount. I am also a veteran. So when I checked out her discount wouldn’t come up. The lady at the self checkout looked at my license and said my name didn’t match hers. I said we are legally married she just didn’t change her last name. Plus you can see I’m a veteran because it’s on my license. She said sorry no discount. So now I only shop at HD which I figured out gives you the veteran discount on way more products. Lowes only gives the discount on selected items.

On 7/30/22 we purchased a Samsung Refrigerator from Lowes in Riverview Fl. The freezer portion of the refrigerator and ice maker failed approximately 8 WEEKS ago. My wife insisted on getting the Extended Warranty so we called LOWE's Warranty and they sent someone out to look at it and order parts. They have been here 4 times to make repairs and it still does not work. Each time they close the work order which means you must call Lows (yes it looks better spelled like this) and then they have to start a new order. Each time you must go through the whole process again, file a new claim. They were here last Thursday, April 18th 24, the repair man said he told them it could not be repaired and we should be eligible for a new refrigerator. So I call Lows again this morning and sure enough since the Thursday claim was closed, " they need to send someone out again". They said they would have a supervisor call within the hour (any bets on that?) I have been verry nice about this situation and even went up to lows and talked a week or so ago to the manager he said he couldn't help me but made a phone call to someone who said they would call me back that day, NO call. Oh and FYI they said they would replace the food we lost due to the freezer failing up to $300 if i could provide the receipts, really? 8 weeks, what a joke. If you are going to entice customers to purchase the extended warranty, at least stand behind it. I have liked shopping at lows over the years but if this is how you treat people after the sale my pride will keep me from going back!

Update::Lowe’s reached out with a customer service phone number that never connects you to anyone. The Levelor window coverings that cost thousands of dollars are garbage. They quit working and no one takes responsibility. Don’t shop Lowe’s window coverings. They are poor quality. Even Levelor admitted the product was bad when we called to inquire about warranty.Buyer beware on purchasing products that require installation. After spending significant cash on all new window coverings, the product was faulty and ended up being replaced 100% by the manufacturer; however, Lowe’s would not cover the installation of the new product under warranty. They are happy to sell product but don’t uphold customer service values. Lost a customer for life.

I was looking for some weed and grass killer, a young man asked me if I needed help. I explained my situation and wow, let me tell you... This brother proceeded to break down every brand, the pros and cons....I mean shucks, I started to ask him if he had any financial advice related to my 401K. All jokes aside, this was an exceptional customer service experience. Who ever that young Asian brother is in the Home and Garden section at the Lowe's in Riverview, Florida on Gibsonton rd... Thank you for all that you do!

Ordered a refrigerator on 1-28-24 from Mark. He was the best part of this whole mess. He was pleasant and helpful. Everyone after that was not. I received my first damaged fridge delivered on 2-3-24. They unpacked it and took it back saying it was damaged. Called to get another one scheduled. The outsourced delivery company doesn’t communicate well with Lowes. So after an additional week of waiting and taking a day off work they delivered a 2nd damaged fridge on 2-9 Friday. After trying to reschedule for the same weekend the manager proceeded to tell me it may come on Sunday but most likely Monday. At that moment I asked her to refund the total order as I was not willing to take an additional day off of work. She was not accommodating or kind. I received a partial credit for the warranty back on my credit card…however I kept watching my bank account for the 1699 for the fridge….it never appeared. I spoke w a manager on 2-9 who assured me that it would be taken care of. On 2-13-24 the next manager stated it had been refunded. On 2-14-24 the next manager stated that due to it coming from a loan account that I would need to come to the store for cash. I asked if they were planning on notifying me of this inconvenience and his reply was they called you on Sunday which is not correct. What a waste of my time and lack of service this has been. I will never buy another appliance from Lowe’s. I have been a customer my entire life moving around in the military. I have bought many appliances from Lowe’s but beware of the lack of trying to make it right at this store. I manage a surgery center and know how to treat the customer. This is my first negative google review; I am so disappointed and frustrated and hoping that you don’t experience the same treatment that I have received from Riverview Lowes.

I kind of laughed when I read one of these that said incredible employees and staff. Boy do peoples experiences vary wildly. I went looking for the 'mexican heather' that was on sale in the garden dept. I looked around for it and didn't see any so I consulted the cashier. She looked at me as though she wanted to help, but shrugged and said I don't really know the plants out here, the day person has already left, and I don't have any way to look it up. While not helpful, she was nice. So I did a 2nd pass through the plants and finally flagged down a male employee who came down the isle. I asked him, and got 'sorry boss, I don't know what to tell you'. So I said the heck with it and went to the register to get the only other thing I came for - mulch. I said I need 4 bags of the lowes premium black mulch (which from plenty of experience I know they can look up). She looked at me and asked 'how do you want it'? While I understood the question, I really didn't understand the question! I finally said, well I usually just pull up and put it in my car. This is when she informed me that the outside mulch was already locked up and I'd have to take a cart to the back of the store and wheel it up there. Keep in mind this was around 5:30PM on a weekday. God they were in rare form apparently. I paid for the mulch and then went to retrieve it. The ONLY upshot is that on my way to the back of the store, and purely by chance, I happened to notice some mexican heather on the 'reduced' carts, and they were in pretty good shape so I did get them after all and for much less than even the sale price. While the cashier was polite, and apologetic as well so I at least give her credit, it hardly makes up for the fact that Lowes has clearly jumped on the 'we don't give a cuss' bandwagon. I guess it was only a matter of time. It was nice while it lasted. I don't think they are hiring bad employees; I think they are not giving their employees the knowledge they need, or sticking someone from say lumber in the garden dept because they are short staffed. But what does that really do? I'm a math teacher, and not once if I were sick do they ever send an English teacher to cover my class. In other words, just sticking someone out there is not a solution - although apparently they feel it is at Lowes. Most of you reading this are probably thinking wha wha wha, you wanted inexpensive items from a big box store, what did you expect? You're absolutely correct - this is exactly what one should expect; and if you do, then you will not be disappointed. Perhaps this is more of a confirmation of that fact.

They are going downhill. I couldn't find someone to help in the tool section. They used to always have someone there. You must check out on the pro side to get a real live person at the register. They stopped giving military discounts on a lot of items.I started shopping a local mill for my wood, Cheaper and they give a discount!

I would have given a higher rating, however, my 1st visit today. the Front Agent at the self check out gave me false information by telling me I couldn purchase the warranty after buying the product. Only to find out later today & a 2nd trip that you have 30 days from the purchase to buy the warranty.Also, the CSR, Heather was very rude to the CSR & I when we were on the phone with her trying to find out if I had to go all the way back to the store to purchase the warranty or if I could do it over the phone. She sais she didn't have time for that because she had a line and hung up.

Lowe's have raised their customer service to the next level. I purchased a grill online to be delivered to my home. The grill arrived damaged, thanks to FedEx. I called customer service, and they were able to get in contact with this local Lowe's, picked up the damaged grill, and replaced it with a new one! I chose not to get the new grilled delivered to my home and picked it up instead. John, a manager at the store, was very tentative and helped me with the process. The pictures shown is the damaged box!

This review is about customer service.During my visit today 2/4/2023, I encountered two (2) exceptional store employees.First at the return counter "Karen" was professional and courteous with a return of merchandise transaction.Then at self-checkout Erin was the same professional and courteous employee assisting with my purchase using the gift card credit from my return.In this labor market Lowes Riverview should be proud of the customer service these to employees provided.In fact, let me call them both ambassadors for Lowes and credit them with the reason I will return.

This Lowe’s has outstanding product selection and unusually good customer service.Normally our local Ace Hardware and HD stores in Eastern Hillsborough provide pretty good service, but for three decades Lowe’s tends to be a self-serve experience.Not true for the Riverview Lowe’s which consistently provides plentiful staffing who actively interact with customers and who genuinely seem to care about the customer experience.There is something significantly different about this Lowe’s and I wanted to acknowledge your outstanding efforts.

I have been researching for a new washer and dryer for sometime. I found this set at Lowe's. The sales associates were great and the pair are on sale. They also had fast delivery. The only down fall was I was quoted $30 for the removal of the old machines but it was $60 for both.

Better than Home Depot in both quality of products and service. Only downside is I buy patio chairs for my rentals and they are always locked up at the front of the store so I’ve waiting 30 minutes each time to have them unlocked after purchase. It’s happened 3 times now…

Needed some laminate flooring and after not finding what I wanted in the other lumber stores we found the perfect width, color with a embossed grain pattern that we love. We ordered 500 ft and had to order one more box which only takes 3 or 4 days to receive. Now months later we are still very happy with our choice and it wears great!

Would expect a home improvement store, that sells wood, to cut wood. Went in to get boards, needed them cut, was told to go to Tampa or Home Depot. This is not the first issue I've had at a Lowes. Have gone to a Lowes, for electrical, to get not only dangerous advice but also illegal advice.
