This is becoming more of a joke everytime we go. Prices go up. They expect you to work for them and check yourself out. And now only 1 line accepts checks. They tried to tell us the machines were down and they are not replacing them?? So what happens when regesiter 8 stops working? They also told us we could go to customers service. Well you know what they told us? You have to go to the regular check out!!! They are just to lazy to teach people how to run a check machine. I will not use debit or credit. To much skimming and id theft.

It seems no one wants to do their job anymore! And, employees at this particular Wal-Mart are rude!! Walmart in Quincy, Florida has gone downhill in the past year! Always have a problem with items ringing up the wrong price, and employee wants to argue that it's the price it rings up when there is clearly a sales price where the item is located. When we need an associate for any reason, go to the front of the store, and you can always see at least 3 of them just talking away, not worried about customers. If not, they're somewhere in the store on their phone. Yesterday, my daughter needed assistance, asked an associate who was on her phone and didn't even look up from her phone to answer her. At the self checkout, we got a couple of items from a clearance bin that rang up wrong, light was blinking for help, but associates paid no mind. I informed associate at service desk; her response was I needed to go to a regular register. What??!! I was almost finished ringing up my items! I already waited in line, and she wanted me to take all my items and go to a regular register and wait in line again!! They've always came to check and change the price before, now they don't?! What are the associates up in the front by the self checkout for, just to stand there and look pretty, on their phones, or talking? When I was told I had to go to another register, I said I didn't want the items then. Associate at service desk asked another associate to come cancel those items; that associate just walked on by near the service desk, not even bothering to come my way. Not to mention, there were a few cold items on that register, apparently left, and none of the associates up front bothered to get them. Wonder why things go bad?? Wonder why people take items without paying? Get the attitude I did yesterday when the item rang up wrong, associate overrides it remotely or from service desk and someone could just bag it up. I didn't, but the thing is, I could have. And, normally there is only one lane open with an associate checking customers put. It's a wonder people go to self checkout!! Yesterday, there were 3, guess because it's close to Thanksgiving. A couple of weeks ago, the service desk employee just walked away and said she was closed when I was next in line. I was told service desk closed at 8 pm, but it was only 7:30, and I was not told she was closing after the customer ahead of me. And, there were 2 people behind me!! Another associate had to come wait on me, as the other one just walked away. Then, when I went to check out at a regular register, light was on and no closed sign was up, had almost all my stuff on the register, and associate tells me, once she finished the other customer, she was closed!! What??!! You want me to take all my stuff off the register and go wait in line again at another register??!! 🙄 Good thing another associate told her to check me out then close. What is it with these associates??!! When I worked at Wal-Mart years ago, if I tried that, I would have been fired! This is ridiculous!!!! I may start going to Tallahassee to go to Wal-Mart when I come to Quincy, even though Quincy Wal-Mart is only 9 miles away. Something needs to be done at this Wal-Mart ASAP!!!

Shopping experience would be a 5* but between time of 8 am and 9 am and cash registers are all closed, n when u ask the Walmart people are they open they say they haven't got there yet. Should be fired then. Get to work and do your job.

Cashier refused to check me out in favor of another customer. We were told cashier #8 was open so we walked over. The cashier, Aziah, said that she flagged someone else because they were last in line (we were next in line). The other party took several minutes to approach the cashier but Aziah still refused to help us because she flagged them first.

Checked out when I got home I noticed I was charged for three organic cucumbers instead of three zucchini squash. A difference of five dollars my fault for not watching the casher maybe a little more training would help.

Don't ever expect customer service at this Walmart because it does not exist. I don't care when you go or what department you go to, it's always horrible. Attitude at all times.

This place was filthy, and it seemed as if I were being followed by a plain clothed employee working security or this guy was an out right stalker, very unpleasant environment... Do not recommend going to this Quincy FL Wal Mart

Just make the extra drive and go to Tallahassee. My first time going I went to the self checkout and my very first item double scanned. 3 employees were in a huddle chatting (about boys..not about work) and when I asked for help they did not respond. I kept scanning and asked again and they did not respond. So I kept going and 2 other items double scanned and when I asked for help again one of them looked up and said they would come help me in just a minute. A few minutes later they all walked off. I was in such a hurry I just paid extra and left. When I got home my hot dogs were FIVE MONTHS EXPIRED. They literally expired on Christmas Eve of 2020. I am in town for work but mentioned to someone at work about my experience and she stated that their machines often double scan and that even though she lives close to that store, she always drives to Tallahassee Walmart due to expired food and poor service.I tried to go back one more time and give them a second chance. There was no one at the service desk to show them about my expired hotdogs and just inform them about my prior experience (I knew that I had no proof that I didn't actually buy two of the things that double scanned.) While there I checked out the plants and there were a couple that were half dead or had no price on them so I went to the employee in the garden center and while I stood there with my cart staring at her, she continued on a personal phone call for over 5 minutes. I was shocked. I could tell she was speaking to a friend and this call was not work related. Again I tried to go to customer service and no one was there. Despite feeling badly about it and feeling like a "Karen," I felt like with no customer service to help me with the expired food I had bought, my only option was to ask for a manager. I asked an employee very kindly and nicely and tried not to be rude at all. He said be would go look. Then he walked away for a bit and then came back and started folding shirts. I finally went back up to him and asked if he found a manager and he said that he didn't. I gave up and just left and vowed to never give this store any more of my money. I've literally never seen or heard of such poor service in my whole life. How is this place still in business??

7/06/22 Update: as prices continue to rise across the country, walmart is no different. However service at this location continues to decline considerably. Same issues regarding self service checkout being highly encouraged but none of the machines ever take cash.In addition no staff were available today for shopping cart roundup. I inquired if the customer service department could call a shopping cart round up as there were no carts and a line of customers waiting for a cart.There were approximately 5 to 6 Walmart employees smoking and talking out front but I was told no one could go get a cart.Customer service were unable to assist regarding my question and shouted across the ailse for the manager I was told to assist. A lady can over and looked at me and acted like I had 12 heads when I inquired if a cart round up would be possible. She rolled her eyes and mumbled "nope" or something. I then politely asked if there was anyone else who may assist me like store manager. She rolled her eyes agisn and said call corporate at 1800walmart. I then realized inconsostent management continues to be the primary issue at this location. I asked the lady for her name but will not include it here.As I walked through the store I realized a lack of shopping carts is just one of a multiple array of issues and mismanagement at this location. Staff covering the grocery aisles were polite and helpful for the most part. Multiple intercom calls literally begging staff to attend the 2pm grocery meeting. A hot mess on a hot July day. Spend the extra money to go to Tallahasse and visit Target. Numerous employees are all throughout the store but majority just walk around and make like they are fronting merchandise. A joke. Changing review from 2 to 1.PREVIOUS REVIEWNever enough checkout lanes open.They push self checkout. Self checkout lanes rarely accept cash which is inconvenient. Self checkout kiosks tend to be dirty and often run out of bags. Majority of staff are friendly. It is challenging when the store is restocking during busy peak hours as it is often impossible to get to the merchandise you need. However, majority of the stocking staff will let you get by or assist in reaching a blocked item for you.

Wow this place needs TLC. I have seen pickup trucks in front yards before, but this retailer has broken down cart returners in the front entrance. The place could use some refreshing.

Speaking for me. I know everyone has different experiences. But for me it's a nice clean store. Most of the staff is helpful. Most of the times you can find what you're looking for. Lines are not always long. And having a shopping cart to shop with is a plus. Had a bad experience at another wal mart. No carts and it's like the most of the time but not here. Overall a pretty great shopping experience

For a Walmart, it's a pretty nice, rather clean Walmart. The people working there were helpful. The check out line wasn't long. Only stopped there to get a quick few items on the way to FSU in Tallahassee. Overall it was a good shopping experience.

90% of the time Walmart typically has what I'm looking for and that fact tends to supersede some of the self checkout register issues of my card system and their system not working well together.

So today I went shopping at Walmart Walmart in Quincy Florida but unfortunately it was not a great shopping day. Number one there was a long line at all registers which there were only two open and three self check out machines working which I had to wait for 30 minutes after getting checked out and everything Was stopped at the door to present my receipt when there is no policy that customers have to show receipts. Instead of paying for someone to be at the door, pay them to be at the register so the lines can move quicker and people are able to go in and out. Also inform employees that the system self check out gives the option to text the receipt to the phone and most of the time the phone will stay out the vehicle If you do not want people to be stealing hire, more staff for registers

You can tell a lot about the local community by the employees hired by the local Walmart, these people will go out of their way to avoid doing anything for anyone. Asked for thin sliced ham at the deli and explained for sandwiches to employee, I got thick slices. And this is just the start but low moral and poor attitude have put this Walmart on my avoid list. Why take a job when you don't want to work? I gave it 2 stars only because I was able to check out quickly at self serve.

Nice and clean Wal-Mart. Several of the employees were lounging around sitting the electric carts up front when we got there and were still there when we left. However all the carts were out of the parking lot.

I was about to put my stuff on the band when the young boy cahier sent me to the next register so he can keep texting on his phone .The worst costumer service in Gadsden county. And this is just one day experience .Every day is something new .all cashiers looks like they hate the job .
