Nice hometown hardware store. Very impressed with the personal attention provided to customers. I love not having to load my items after purchase. They do it for me. Their drive thru loading area is perfect. They load it and I can keep going. Purchase some luxury vinyl plank tile. Project turned out very nice. Purchased bags of pond peebles for another project. Comparable pricing. Thanks Stone's!!!

Really nice, very friendly staff. Always willing to help. Will actually take you to where the item you want is located in the store. Greet you pleasantly as you come in the store. They're what I call a hometown hardware store. Clean store.

Staff was awesome. Prices fair. Had a couple employees help me find some less than common items. As I browsed the store three different workers asked if I needed assistance. You ain't getting that at lowes

I've lived in Quincy for almost 18 years and love our Stone's store. I've also shopped at Stone's in Havana. Employees at both stores are always super friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The stores are always neat & clean and merchandise is usually in stock. Their prices are often better than big box stores and you never know what you will find at Stone's. I like going up & down the aisles just to see what I might find, they even carry work boots. It's a home & garden center with a bit of general store and farm store. The only caveat I might have is they are closed on Sunday & I think they close earlier on Saturday, so plan your projects accordingly.

I have been shopping at Stones for over 25 years but today was my last purchase.When I went into the Quincy Store today, I noticed that NONE of the employees were wearing masks. When I asked about it at the checkout, the employee acted as if I was out of my mind being concerned about their lack of mask wearing, She said, "No we're not. You've got a mask on, you're protected."I called the main office in Moultrie to get a corporate response. I talked to the President and he explained that they were not wearing masks and that they were following local and CDC guidance. This is patently untrue. Both the CDC and OSHA websites state that mask wearing by retail employees is recommended.He also stated that he understood my concerns and still wanted my business. I am not sure he understood my concerns because IMHO, mask wearing is a simple cheap Public Health response.

Even though Stones might be one of the only Lumber/Hardware stores in Quincy, they don’t take advantage of it. Brit and the guys and galdo a great job running the store. There is a hometown feel about it.Think of it as a mini-big box store.I purchased a door from Brit and had a issue from the factory. Brit went above and beyond to make things right (Not to many people do that these days )Everyone in the store is ALL about customerservice.Judging from Brits store, I would think all Stones Store would be the same, we’ll see😃Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is,Secretary needs new desk. She does a fantastic job.

Stone's is one of the best places to do business with and have some of the most friendly people to work with. It remains me the my old Hardware store back home I recommend them to everyone I know. 5 start in my book.

It took a long to get check out. A women had a few tools to buy but she carried them and put them back on the shelves and didn't buy them because it was taken to along to get check out.
