I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn Quincy, FL, and it exceeded all expectations. The hotel's convenient location made exploring the area a breeze, and the amenities were top-notch, from the comfortable rooms to the well-maintained facilities. What truly stood out was the exceptional customer service – the staff went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. I highly recommend this Hampton Inn for an outstanding experience. Five stars without a doubt!

The Hotels front desk attendants and cleaning staff overall were very good. They were very helpful and friendly. That is with the exception of this one gentleman who questioned me in a manner as if I wasn't telling him that truth about the challenges that I was having with my room. Which is my reasoning for rating the service a four star and not a five. Anyway, somehow a waterbug or roach whatever the case may be had made his way into my room. I simply killed it and didn't make a big deal about it because I know that it's kind of a challenge to keep bugs from crawling into places especially when the weather changes from one season to the next here in Florida and because I only seen one. Even though I absolutely hate bugs of any kind around me.Let me just say that although the location of this Hotel is great because it puts you right near the expressway for easy access to come and go with ease. The reason for the low score is because this hotel is in serious need of some upgrades. The carpets are old and outdated as well as the beds, furniture and everything else within these hotel rooms that I noticed. The bathroom toliets and tubs sit so low that anyone with any kind of disability would have a challenge getting into or out of the shower or sitting on the toliets because you're sitting so low. Not to mention the the tubs water faucets weren't even connected properly to the side or base of the tubs in either room that I was in. It was just dangling there with the hose all exposed. The toliet seats were so hard it felt like sitting on a piece of steel and the towels were so rough it felt like bathing with sandpaper! The door hinge where the refrigerator was stored was broken. The refrigerator was very rocky as if it had three legs and one was missing. The curtain was broken there was a struggle getting it up and down. The AC/Heating unit in the first room that I was in was not producing heat no matter how you adjusted the thermostat or what temperature you had it on and unfortunately there were cold days and nights during my stay here at this Hotel. I could probably sit here and point out several other issues regarding these rooms but I think that you get the picture. The Hotel needs some serious upgrades! But once again my sincerest gratitude and appreciation to the front desk staff and cleaning crew. This review has no reflection upon the services that you provided at all!

Had an overnight stay here. The location is desolate off of I10. Questionable neighborhood. Check in was easy. Clerk was professional and cordial. Hotel was clean. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom ceiling had leak stains and the tub needed caulk. The faucet was loose. I’ve stayed at Hampton inn before. This one does not uphold their reputation for quality. The breakfast was good and checkout was easy. I would stay here again but not for the$$ I paid.

Aged Hampton Inn with some desperate needs of improvement. The room was by far the worst. In the bathroom, above the toilet, there was brown stains on the wall. Looks like something was thrown on the wall, this is unacceptable. The air conditioning had a mind of its own. There was no way to adjust the temperature or the speed of the fan. The lights didn't work. The breakfast is typical for a Hampton Inn.

Mine was a late arrival. However, the staff was at the desk greeting me as if I had arrived early in the day. They were friendly, professional and answered all my questions. Check-in was quick and they had me headed for my room and some much needed rest in a matter of minutes. The room was clean and inviting, the television screen had a personal greeting including my name and the bathroom sparkled.

If you are just passing through, or have somewhere to be in the area: go here!!!! This hotel is a gem. I have to travel to this area a lot, and I used to make an extra 30 min drive to tallahassee hotels around the same price, but NOT anymore. I love it here for my son and I. I never write reviews but for my 3rd time visiting, I am impressed!

My wife was traveling and really needed to get off the road. I quickly booked a room here for her and called to make sure check-in would go smoothly. A bit later, I got a call from my wife. She was treated so well by the staff that she was crying with joy for all the support. She was able to rest up and continue with the trip.I can't say enough how much I appreciate people who care for others when they most need it.THANK YOU!!

Multiple things not working: Pool was closed (no water in pool), ice machine not working for entire visit, shower did not provide adequate water flow, faucet in tub would pull out/away from the wall when turning off/on. The worst was that there was no one on the front desk for around 30 minutes - appeared that the 3rd shift person left and the 1st shift person had not arrived. Katherine (1st shift) came in and said "sorry, I just got here". We will not be staying here again, since there is a nice Holiday Inn right beside it.

Truth be told I didn't stay at this hotel. I'm driving from Florida to Texas on I-10 cell phone died so I had no this was the first hotel I saw on my route on April 17th at 9 a.m. I don't remember the front desk clerks name but she totally helped me out. She googled the closest cricket store and gave me directions was able to get a new phone and get back on the road. Whoever-you-are whatever your name is thank you so so much

Nice, clean & safe and mostly comfortable hotel. Good as a stop over, right off highway and Gas Station close by. Very little food close by and mostly fast food so eat before you stop. As far as the Hotel goes it is a good Hampton Inn with everything you would expect. I didn't have the breakfast but it looked right on for Hampton Inn's (good way) Good internet, Fridge in room. Obviously well cleaned and in good order. Hotel Desk very pleasant. I will stay here again in my travels . Right off of I 10.

Checked in at 11:00 pm and the bathroom was loaded with mold. Ceiling over toilet, and shower. We have stayed in Hamptons for 3 decades. Never have we seen anything so disgusting. I have a mold allergy and am having difficulty breathing. All hotels in next town were full due to college starting. On a move from FL to CA… 62 years old…exhausted with two pets pulling trailer…do we seriously have to risk our health because the management doesn’t care enough to shut down bad rooms? This is a crime. We will not. Be paying for this room. If the manager said “we have a room but it is loaded with mold”, we would have driven on! Oh and we couldn’t even dress in the room as the shade won’t pull all the way down.

We arrived early evening. We had a king bed with a pull out couch. When I arrived I pulled out the couch and it was fithy underneath. There were no linens or extra towels. The maids came in and cleaned and made up the bed. Gave us extra towels.When i made my reservationn i requested extra linens . After an hour our room was finally ready. There was a strong smell in there. I woke up with a sinus headache. I picked Hampton because i thought it was nicer than the other hotels. It was more expensive. I truely was dis appointed. Also the complimentary coffee was old and cold.They did fix the problem but after driving all day i wanted to relax and had to desl with all this.The service was good . But it should have been ready and clean.

This is a really nice hotel, makes for an enjoyable stop with a convenient location just off of I-10. This hotel is fresh, and it’s obvious upon entry that they are making great efforts to maintain a clean, safe environment from the lobby to the sanitized rooms down to the sanitized remote.The shades in our room were not operating properly, and the light coming through the window with the solid screen closed was significant. Not a big problem for us, but might be better in another location of the hotel, not sure.Our bill was not accurate for some reason - minor, but worth keeping an eye on out.Overall, an enjoyable property, would visit again for sure.

Worst stay at a hotel ever! I don't normally write reviews for hotels mainly because I never had a big enough reason to. First, their small, crickety elevator was the first thing I noticed. Second thing, trying to open the door was a hassle; had to get some random dude to open the door for us to get inside since their is a special way you have to open it....😒 That's not all. I saw a big roach on the bathroom wall. Soooo, we're outta here.

Great visit. Clean rooms and clean seating area. My only draw backs are the pillows were too soft and the food was mediocre. They had servers that treated the food like it was there's. Small portions were given out. The orange juice was in a plastic, foil wrapped container and that is what it tasted like.

This was not what I was expecting. None of the plumbing fixtures were attached to the walls/counters and there were many places where things just seemed off. The breakfast was fine, and the wifi acceptable, but the lamp in the room wasn't tall enough to illuminate the desk it was on and it was tied to something that wouldn't really let you move it. The curtain also got in the way of it's adjusters. Especially at the price point I was disappointed. Ice machine worked and it has its own coin laundry which was different.
