Polite, kind staff. Calm atmosphere inside grooming area. My dog is skittish and fearful and the groomer handled her gently but firmly. The cut was close to perfect. It was our first time here so I thought the groomer did a great job. As she gets to know my dog and what I want, I know I'll be rating the experience a 10. The groomer was open to my suggestions and promptly trimmed an area when I requested. Responsive. All round good experience.

It was our first time at the Port Charlotte Petco (moved from Fredericksburg, VA this past summer and used the Petco there); however, in December, I used the Petco in Venice, but when I called, they said - they had no groomers. Regardless, the Staff at the Port Charlotte Petco - everyone is very friendly and loves animals (it shows). Also, Kylee did a great job on grooming Layla my dog, as well as did a wonderful job on Layla's nails because Layla is very energetic and tends to jump and can accidentally scratch you, but Kylee did a great job because Layla's nails are the perfect length. I am glad we came to the Port Charlotte location, and this is our new location for dog grooming! Thank you so much!

I have never taken Tank to the groomers before. I've groomed him myself for 8 years. It has started to be to much for me and took up so much of my time. In Sept I decided to give Petco a try for his grooming needs and am so happy I did. Hailey his groomer is so gentle and loving with him. He actually enjoys going to Petco to see her for his grooming needs. It's the best thing I could've ever did. I don't know why I waited so long. Prices are reasonable and the staff is so friendly. There are also many stores and restaurants nearby you can visit while your pet gets groomed it works out good for the both of us.

Just when I picked up my dog, and after paying, they told me that it had some matting around the neck and that they left it like that. I would have appreciated a call to address my choices before they delivered my dog without the proper grooming. I doubt I will be coming back to that store.

Amy is the BEST! She deserves all the money in the world! She is patient and sweet with my TWO Cockapoos! It is so important that I found someone to groom them every 8 weeks. Not only was my first time at Petco for grooming, but my dog was rescued from a puppy mill and still fear people. The groomer was so sweet and tender with him and he came out not only looking so darn cute, but he was also a good boy with her. I really appreciated.

$79 including tip for a dog that was trimmed..Not clipped...she's not a poodle that requires a precision clip which is what we were charged for. She was only bathed, trimmed - including ears...unevenly I might add, teeth brushed, whiskers trimmed. What you charged is absurd and we'll not be back. There are many professional groomers in the area to choose from that we should have contacted, sadly we chose wrong with you..

My little baby was so scared she was shaking and trying to leave. The girl was so patience. I left and when I got back they said she did absolutely perfect. She was such a girl little girl. I was very impressed with Petco grooming.

There was confusion on the time frame. When I booked online, it said the grooming would take two hours. When I dropped the dog off, the groomer said it would be between 3 and 4 hours. Not much I could do at that point. Took four hours and I don't think it was the Groomer's fault. There are two Groomers and they had quite a few pets to groom. She did a great job, but staffing is definitely a problem at this store

My Riley always looks so clean and well kept after his visit. The ladies there are all so friendly and you can see that they really care a lot about their customers but more so for their customers pets that they love so dearly. Thanks so much for a great job.....now Mr Riley will be allowed back in the bed lol
