Was surprised at the variety of fish. Way better than the others and even some of the independent stores. And they are very helpful and knowledgeable they are my go to..and they can even order one if they can get it

Was buying dog food and cat food and as my husband and I were approaching the door, an employee was also entering. I'm in a wheelchair and in extreme pain, so I thought she'd hold the door but nope. So we didn't grab the door in time so he had to spin me around and enter backward. It's not a big deal. We do it all the time when no ones around but it's the point that she was so busy on her phone she probably didn't even see us. Then we walked in, walked past another employee and didn't get a hello or even a smile. Young people are very self-centered and rude these days...

Friendly staff. Conveniently located. I like my Pet Supermarket. Having a Labrador and a cat is kind of expensive, but we feel Per Supermarket's prices are competitive and our animals seem to do well on their brand food. Plus, we get $5 off every time as well since we spend $100 for a month's worth of pet supplies.

That Supermarket is great. This is the only place that sells the dog food that I feed my chocolate labradoodle. The food he gets is performatrin ultra. I also like to buy snacks and treats there. They have a dog wash. I think it's $10 a wash. You could bring your pet inside the store. We also get our guinea pig supplies there like hay and food and chew toys. It's very clean the people there are very friendly I've never had any problems there. And if you're part of their Rewards program, you can get 5 and $10 off every now and then when you go in make your purchases. It's probably 4 minutes away from my house so it's very convenient. And they always have what I'm looking for they have not been out of stock yet.

Prices are high. Employees pleasant and helpful. I'm looking for alternative stores to shop because of the price of what I regularly buy for my cats. There never seems to be coupons or sales on this item

I was in Sunday with my 2 daughters. They really wanted a guinea pig and originally this was gonna be a terrible review. This young man named mat refused to let me see any of them unless I bought them first. We toured the store and anytime anyone asked him anything he either ignored them or directed all his questions to the manager. Acted like he didn't wanna even be there. That being said. Thank you so much Brent!. He overheard him telling me no and stepped it and let my little girls interact with the animals. He was very knowledgeable about all the animals. He originally seen us in the fish area that was very clean and well taken care of and basically showed them all the different fishys and they loved it. So when he came to our rescue I was beyond thrilled. I overheard him talking to other customers and was amazed how much he knows and how pleasant he was to everyone. He made me loyal to that store and planning on getting a guinea pig as soon as we get back from Thanksgiving trip. They should clone him so we don't run into that young man again.

Turn off, I’ve always had a great experience at the store. Everyone’s been very friendly and helpful. But this morning was frustrating! Minutes after they were supposed to be open. Doors were still locked, no one insight.

I was pleasantly surprised by this store! I ran in for a dog collar, as my German Shepherd had just broken through hers. The staff was very friendly, and the products & prices were fantastic! It was a quick trip, and I was very satisfied with my purchase. I will be coming back, as they offer the dog wash stations (reasonably priced).

I am new to having an aquarium and while I have done quite a bit of research on my own, Jessica at the Peachland Blvd., Port Charlotte, FL store has been so helpful. She is extremely knowledgeable and always willing to assist. I used to frequent a different pet shop in the area, but I will be using Pet Supermarket for all my pet supplies from now on. Pet Supermarket is fantastic. They not only carry a little bit of everything, they also have great deals consistently. Staff are always super friendly and willing to offer a hand finding something or even recommending items for your pet.BONUS FEATURE: For those of you/us who have bigger pets/dogs, the offer a wash station. It is an enclosed, tile area with chest level tubs/washing tables. For a reasonable price, Pet Supermarket includes the shampoo, conditioner, towels, and a large blow dryer! There is also a clip/lead holder inside the tubs to keep your furry pal from taking off, soaking wet, around the store!I take my German shepherd (2yo) here for ALL her baths. Not only is it easier overall, but the hairy mess stay out of MY tub/house.Pet Supermarket also offers a Veteran appreciation day at the end of every month. Simply show them you military ID and receive a discount on purchases!10/10 I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for great deals and fantastic customer service!

The employees are always so nice here. Very understanding of service dogs in training as well as regular rambunctious pets coming to pick out a new toy. They offer that walk in self wash, but the reason I keep coming back is the employees and how accommodating they are- This is a great place for a good pup to get out and away from home.
