Never seen a more inept pharmacy. They all go on break at 1:30 which shuts the pharmacy down. No mention of this on their schedule. Also when I waited they only expedited one of my 2 prescriptions.

This kind of service is unacceptable and shows a lack of care for their customers. It is disappointing to see a company that was once trusted and reliable, deteriorate in this way. It is clear that CVS is not prioritizing their customers' needs and it would be wise to choose a different pharmacy, such as Publix, for your prescription needs.

Pharmacy service was excellent and completed in a timely manner. All personnel were friendly and courteous. It was a seamless experience getting a prescription refilled that was originally filled in another state. Would definitely recommend this pharmacy.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had. I rarely leave a bad review, but this pharmacist needs to be removed. Horrible service, will,not assist you, and there are pill all over the floor near the pharmacist desk. It was a mess. Consider another pharmacy. 30 plus years CVS met our needs. We left them today.

The pharmacy doesn't return your calls no matter how many messages you leave. You cannot speak to a real person on the phone...you can only leave a message for someone to "return your call", which never happens. You have to physically go into the store to speak to a person for anything that should be a simple phone call. I feel sorry for the elderly that don't drive and run out of their prescription because of the carelessness of the staff at this CVS location. If my insurance didn't force me to use CVS, I would never go through the hell you have to go through to get a real "human" on the phone. Shame on you CVS, Walmart Pharmacy is leagues above you in Customer Service. Shame.

Got my Covid booster and it was fine. I ask about my wife they looked her up and said bring her in no problem. When I brought her in, there seemed to be a problem on the computer. The girl on the computer called her supervisor and angerly the supervisor said it was a problem with our insurance not their problem. I said I didn’t have any issue at Walgreens last year with the booster and she said why don’t you just go to Walgreens then in a nasty condescending manner. I said ok good idea. I went to Walgreens and no problems at all. Got the booster and a $10.00 store credit. Since I have become an older senior I have noticed a change in some people’s behavior towards me. I will never use cvs again for anything. I didn’t appreciate the unnecessary rudeness.

I was in CVS today at the photo section and the help I received was above and beyond. Theresa was a wonderful person to work with and extremely helpful and knowledgeable getting my photos done in very timely manner. She certainly went above and beyond in helping this happy customer. Kudos to the help at this location on Veterans and Kings Highway in Port Charlotte Fl

Horrible location. Wait in drive up line only to be told to come inside to show my insurance info. Wait in line again to show insurance info. Then told I have to wait in line AGAIN to pay (a different line). Step up to cashier after a guy finishes his transaction. Of course the cashier is leaving for the day. No one comes over to ring me up even though there are FIVE employees behind the counter in front of computers. No one helps. I start literally pacing the floor in front of the cashier since I’ve waited THREE TIMES NOW to pay for this rx and get the he11 out of this place. Wait another several minutes and the same girl that took the insurance info finally walks over to ring me up. What an absolute clusterf—k this place is when it comes to customer service. They are terrible. Won’t be filling my rx here again. They suck royally here at this location.

Was basically fat shamed in front of the whole establishment when my doctor's office called in my medication while I was standing at the counter. I was so embarrassed I left and never got the call the prescription was ready. The whole time standing there all I heard from the staff was them talking bad about other people and using foul language. Unfortunately this is what my insurance covers. Yay me

If I could, I would give it zero star because it doesn't deserve it, these people at the pharmacy work with their bad faces looking like they're doing me a favor, when I'm there to pay for my medicine, they look like they're working for free because of the looks they give us .Unfortunately we are in a time where these young people have no respect for their elders, they treat the people who go there very badly and rude It's not the first time I've seen it with my own eyes, today I got there and as soon as they opened the pharmacy window at 10 in the morning their faces were already bad as if they didn't want to be there, I don't ask them to keep smiling, at least put on a normal face for work .....May God bless these young people, because one day they will become old, just like these elderly people go there and are poorly treated .Please Dear Manager of this pharmacy please do something my review is not the first, other people talking about it also

This Pharmacy has to be the worst in the history of bad pharmacies. I rarely use it as my kids are rarely ill but occasionally we need an antibiotic. For the last year or so, a child's dosage of amoxicillan has been on backorder. No matter, they can convert and mix right? Big problem. The automated system tells you everyday your script is ready. Then when you go to pick it up, they give you the long drawn out story, don't have the dosage, must mix it, come back later, we will text you when it's ready. I have done this dance with them for 3 DAYS before. This last time on day 2 I finally I got mad about it. My husband had already been there that morning to pick it up per their notification that it was ready but was told to come back in an hour because they had to mix it. When I asked her what the hell they had been doing for the past 3 hrs he was gone, she leaned over the counter, looked me dead in the eyes, and said, "COVID and FLU" vaccines. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? My child had come home at 12pm the day prior, went to the Dr, called in the script by 3pm, we come to get the script on day 2 bc it's NEVER ready on day 1, you know, we know the drill, and you're telling me the reason you're not preparing and dispensing an antibiotic to me for a child with an ear infection is that giving vaccines is more important!? OVER IT. It is obvious CVS's priority is NOT dispensing medications to the general public but jabbing as many arms as they can. Never going back here again and if you need prescriptions, you would do well to transfer. The lady in front of me said this is always a problem. Ridiculous.

My experience started with them being the ONLY pharmacy that had a needed antibiotic, for my very sick child. I called pharmacies all morning and found this one had the one I needed, called the Dr who sent the meds. Now here's where they lost the 2 🌟 stars. I called 4 times yesterday to see if they had received the meds, the were SO important. Each time I spoke to,I believed to be the same person. VERY rude, short, lacking customer service and empathy. She kept telling me nothing was there and had me stressed for hours. Then the last call regained some of my faith. The last call I got a new girl, she found that my Dr sent the script to a different location, immediately had it transferred and filled within an hour! SHE HEARD ME, she understood the urgency and she was empathic. To whoever you are, thank you for caring. This is not my normal pharmacy and likely won't use them again. But for this particular case, after issues all day, they did come through.

This CVS branch is the single worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. My family has upwards of 10-15 prescriptions a month filled here because it is the closest to our home, but I am finished. The frustration caused from this branch is ridiculous. Each time my physician has to fax the prescriptions at least 3 times. They never received them! I call, I drive there and wait in lineI make another trip to my Dr. And they call in the prescriptions while I am standing there, CVS denies ever receiving the calls. CVS sends me 30 text messages asking if I want to have the scripts refilled, I tap YES every time. They supposedly call my Dr. (These calls never happen) I just continue getting messages from CVS stating my Dr. Will not approve my meds. I finally have to make another trip to the Dr. In Lakewood Ranch to get them to actually write the prescriptions out on an old fashioned script pad and I walk it into the CVS location myself and finally I get my meds in 1-2 days! The only reason I am giving a 1 start is because there is no option for a -1000 star. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND unless you want to run out of your meds for a couple weeks every time you need a refill. I AM GOING TO TAKE MY BUSINESS TO #Walgreens, #Walmart or #Publix

Absolutely hands down the worst pharmacy I have ever used. The pharmacist,Thiu, may be the rudest person I have ever dealt with. She is constantly telling me and my wife that our prescriptions are on back order and can't tell me when they might be in stock or she will offer to fill part of the prescription but can't fill the whole script. I am constantly having to go to other pharmacies to have them filled. She has questioned my and my wife's prescriptions to the point that I have asked if she's a pharmacist or doctor. My wife has a chronic cardiac condition and her actions have placed my wife's health and safety in jeopardy on multiple occasions. To the point that we've had a number of her prescriptions filled at the Tampa General pharmacy even though we know it will cost us more because it is out of network. Unfortunately my insurance requires me to go to a CVS pharmacy to have my prescriptions filled. We've complained to CVS corporate headquarters on several occasions to no avail.

Pharmacy has atrocious customer service. They are supposed to return calls within 2 hours but never call back. Can't call and speak directly with pharmacy but can only leave a message to return your call.

I called this morning to see if my husband's prescription, from an out of town hospital, had been filled. After waiting for about 8 min I was cut off. Called back and again cut off after 7 minutes. I saw on his portal the prescription had been called in yesterday afternoon. So at 2:15 I waited in line at the drive-up only to be told they didn't have the medicine and to call on Monday. I said he needs it now, transfer it to another CVS. They said they couldn't transfer this medication. So this is not the first time we have had problems at this CVS, but it will be the last.

Pharmacy has terrible customer service in-store and do not answer calls, if you do get through by phone they hang up before speaking or it simply disconnects. Worse than the Walgreens pharmacy on Kings Hwy. I stood at the CVS pharmacy counter for approximately 15 minutes, only person waiting, staff walked by without even acknowledging me, pharmacist didnt acknowledge, when staff member finally walked to register, she was rude. Transferring all my scripts out. Absolutely terrible experiences at this CVS

Horrible communication, prescriptions are never ready even if U call 2x & the time your given to pick them up better +another 5hrs to it, & FORGET ABOUT CALLING IF YOUR NOT DISCONNECTED after being on hold for 30+min.I've used CVS for over 20yrs in Ft Myers & never ever had any issues like I've had since moving to Punta Gorda this oast 2 yrs using this pharmacy.I'm I supposed to drive 110 miles round tripwasting my time while being disabled to get customer service that I've always gotten in Lee County?. I think not. Time to go to Walgreens or Publix. Also in checking prices this CVS IS DOUBLE the cost that Publix or Walmart charges! Why?

I don't do to many reviews. But I have to give credit where credit is due. We had my wifes specialty pharmacy order delivered here the other day with no issues. A few days later she was prescribed antibiotics and Gabapentin for a condition and since we stay near this location we figured we have her Dr. call it in here. The antibiotics were filled the same day. I was notified on the app that the Gabapentin was on backorder. When I picked up the antibiotics I first was told it would take 2 weeks for the Gabapentin. Then the pharmacist told me next day. The next day came and went. On day 3 I inquired about the status and was told that they got the delivery and it would be fill right away and to await the notification. This was around noon. The notification never came. Around 5 pm I tried to call and was left hanging dry. My wife was able to get through on her phone but was hung up on once she inquired about the status. Called Wallgreens, tranfered the script and it was filled 2 hours later. I don't know what is going on here, but there is no excuse for this behavior. We only used this location because we were near but they are the reason why we will transfer our remaining orders to Walgreens.

Cvs verterns blvd Poor excuse for a cvs pharmacy. Other cvs are great! This one however is a different story. Started on Thursday trying to get a prescription filled because of poor service it was Thursday the next week before I got the prescription. They would say would be ready by a certain time and never was and when you would call they don’t answer your call for like 30 minutes. They don’t care about customers!

Dr called in a script on the 2nd. Made two visits in person to attempt to pick up medication and they said it would be in in a day or two. It is now the 14th, no communication from CVS. Tried to call ... after 65 minutes on hold, they hung up on me. Horrific customer service.

Had 2 different interactions with this pharmacy today and neither were good. 1st was for a simple medication that we were told would be done in an hour. We went back 2 + hours later, sat in the drive thru for about 15 minutes before even being addressed, then we were told it STILL wasn't ready and that we should come back in another hour. Then another/a different Rx was prescribed and sent here mid afternoon (for pain due to a broken bone nonetheless). It is now 7:30pm and we were just told it is STILL not ready. And the tech who helped us was less than friendly about it. Will not ever be returning to this pharmacy nor will we ever recommend it.

Even with the change in staff, this pharmacy still has not improved. I went to Med Express and I had to choose a pharmacy for my medication to go to. I had to choose them because the pharmacy I normally go to was closing in less than an hour. Never received a text (previous client within the last year) saying my medication was ready. I tried calling three times...it never went through. I waited over 17 minutes on the phone before some one pick up just to see why my medication was still being processed (5:45) when my medication was sent over electronically at 1:00. My brother had less than 5 minutes to go to the pharmacy after we go off the phone. I will never choose this pharmacy again. I will go to Midway before here if I need medication right away.

Not sure about 2 years ago (last review on this store), but I just started using them and they got my prescription in 24 hours (needed to be ordered, but that's normal with this particular medication at any pharmacy). Staff was mostly friendly. The woman at drop-off seemed like she may have just been having a rough day, but she wasn't rude by any means. The woman I spoke with the next day on the phone to see if my Rx was ready was very friendly. So far, no complaints, everything is great.

Literally been at the window for over 20 minutes and have been looked at and not addressed. There’s a woman literally at the computer and will not answer the call button they close at six and I been out here since 5:22 and it’s not quarter to.Update I walk inside wait another 15 minutes watching them pack medicine for people not even here!!! I recommend they put a drive thru closed sign up since they are ignoring everyone in it. They ignored me! Then when it came time to check out they said very loudly in front of a line of people ok so your picking up “name of medicine” how is this not a HIPAA violation??!! The worst pharmacy I ever been to! I’m so upset now sitting in their parking lot!!

Discharged with Covid pneumonia on the way home stop for RX had nothing in stock I needed. Next day told by three employees in pharmacy how to set up payment and delivery. Can’t deliver 2 to 3 days can’t find payment on the app everything in the system they added wrong nothing jived. 3 1/2 hours on the phone with store and corporate . Pharmacist and manager could not care less will be going elsewhere in the future. Plan to find out how to file a formal complaint.

Zero customer service. They do not answer the phone. I went to pick up medicine and a young girl at the pharmacy decided she didn't like my attitude after I complained about not answering the phones, she refused to wait on me and told the pharmacist to NOT expedite my filling my script. As I waited for at least 40 minutes, she stood and did nothing at all while the phones were ringing off the hook. Horrible. I will never go back.
