Wonderful selection and very nice employees but sadly have bunnies on wrong foods. Rabbits under 6 months are supposed to be on alfalfa hay and 2 tablespoons of young rabbit pellets a day. Sadly, the bunnies today had unlimited pellets, Timothy hay, and dried fruit with pumpkin seeds (huge no nos for all rabbits) per our vet, Dr. K (yes, the tv show exotic vet and yes, rabbits need exotic vets). I did speak to the employees about it and they said they would discuss with the woman in charge of them. I hope they change their foods to an age appropriate diet.

Average store for pet supplies. You can’t always find everything at the store. Some of the employees don’t seem very happy working at the store. How the store is organized seems very overcrowded. Sometimes if you have to get a large bag of pet food, the bag might be at the bottom of an entire stack of dog food of the same brand but different types.

We purchased a large bag of Nutro Essentials on August 20, 2019. Less than 1 moth later it has started to mold. We have it stored inside, in an airtight container.Our dog was sick for several days last week and we had to take her to the vet this past Monday morning.It is a 30 pound bag and there is still 25 pounds left. We called the store as we still have the receipt and wanted to make sure we could return it.My girlfriend is the one who first spoke with "Sara" . My girlfriends English is not perfect. Sara took full advantage of that fact and direct my girlfriend to call Nutro and let them deal with it and ended the conversation.I called back to verify that she would not accept the return, she directed me to call corporate in Sunrise. She said that my girlfriend told her that we have little of the food left which she never said. Sara may have misunderstood her. Again, we have 25 of the 30 pounds left. She told us that she doesn't have any proof of how we stored our food. I told her I would bring the 25 pounds back in the container it's in so she can see for herself. See attached pics.We have to purchase new food tonight and it would have been great to go there and take care of it in one shot. For sure we will not be going back to this Pet Supermarket ever. Be careful shopping here! The food may mold, your animal could get sick and then have to deal with the manufacture as the retailer is not taking ANY responsibility.

Everyone was very kind. Even though it’s an older store I was very impressed by everyone’s knowledge and even if they didn’t know, I was told “that’s not something I’m sure about”. We went to many pet stores and finally after stopping at this one, we adopted a 6 week old kitten. We named her Gemma and she’s adjusting great in our home. We couldn’t be happier. She’s been an absolute blessing.

Always fun to go to Pet Supermarket. They have a good variety, allow my dog to come with me and the employees are usually very nice and helpful. Have compared their prices to Chewy and they are very competitive (as far as dog food) and added bonus is that I make it an outing for my pup and I.

Our helper was extremely helpful, she made sure we got everything we needed for our bunny. She gave us everything we needed she had a positive and great attitude. She gave us tips on how and what not to do with the pet. She was very informative. And it was great experience and we can't wait to come again to get more supplies

Ryan is an amazing employee he always answers all my questions about fish and always looking to help this store is the only pet store I go to not only because of the store and the selection but because I always feel welcomed! I highly recommend this store!!!

Terrible Customer Service experience and never any stock. Store always seems to be out of Acana Red Meat Recipe 25lb bag of dog food and leaves me forced to spend more on buying enough smaller bags to feed my dog for the month which means spending about $30 more than just buying the big bag . Last couple of times the gentleman who helped me at this exact same location at least was able to give me 5 smaller bags to equal up to the weight of one of the 25lb bags for the same price as the 25lb bag so i didn't have to spend more.Went in this today to get more food and the two people at the counter seemed completely uninterested in helping me at all. No interest in checking the back if they had any stock, helping me get the same price as if i had bought a larger bag (the gentleman at the counter, without even looking at me just said "yeah that guy doesn't work here anymore"), or checking to see if another store had it when i asked to save me having to drive around.The icing on the cake was that i was patiently standing in line waiting for the lady at the register to finish checking out the customer in front of me, and the gentleman who walked up to help at the registers specifically called the lady behind me up to his register and said "yeah he'll go over to her (the other cashier that was already helping someone else) as soon as she's done so ill help you here". They just really didn't seem interested in my business at all so i left and did a subscribe and save on Amazon for cheaper.This is the sort of experience that makes you never want to shop at a place every again. Now i have my food delivered to my door for less money than id be spending at this place.

One of the employees was carrying around one of the birds for sale on her shoulder while restocking shelves. She was kind enough to let us interact with him. I was so pleased to see the baby rabbit they had for sale! Happy rabbits, happy life!

I have been helped out a lot by Ryan who always has an experienced honest answer and is professional and polite. It's a nice clean store and atmosphere. Kudos to Pet Supermarket in Pompano Bch! I went to the store on May 5th for a durable dog toy, and a new leash. I was helped by a petite middle-aged lady, who was so helpful. The cashier was very nice too. Keep up the great customer service!

Very well stocked with excellent t array of brands for all pets. Staff is attentive and well trained. They know the products and how to zero in on what matches my requests. And, buying here frequently, yields credits at checkout. Before I knew it, $5.00 reduced off my latest purchase! Love this place!

The first time I went I noticed they were understaffed. I was happy with the girl who helped me once she was able.The second time we waited for service and the only man on the floor was talking to a customer. We stood there looking at them for a few minutes and he didn’t even acknowledge us. We went back looked at fish for a little longer. No one came. We walked back up front and he was at the checkout talking while the other employee rang her up. Still no acknowledgement. We left and won’t be back.

I really love this store!!! Erin Kinsey is absolutely fantastic!!!! Every time I come into the store she goes completely out of her way to help!!! I had a huge fish tank problem and because of her expert knowledge I didn’t lose a couple hundred bucks worth of fish!!!!! If I am looking for a particular kind of fish she will order it for me!!! I get VIP service every time I come in!!!! A big shout out to James as well for all of his help as well!!! Awesome store with an awesome staff!!!!

Great service. Associate was extremely helpful assisting in finding products I was looking for and highlighting all of the cost savings opportunities. Pricing is competitive with online services. They will match. They also seem to have a good inventory of product. But I cannot say enough about the service.They also handle processing yearly county dog licensing for rabies.

I read a review of this store,And yes it is true . All you see Nine or 10 of them this morning, the backs of the employees. Not one person greets you.I had a friend that worked there years ago, he told me how much work the employee was expected to do.low pay,etc. I also know the huge markup.this bad attitude goes to the owners. Manager even had an attitude. People are not this way for nothing. Maybe mail order?
