My recent visit to PetSmart was incredibly frustrating due to the lack of assistance from the staff. Upon entering the store, I was hoping to find six specific items, but the two ladies working at the time seemed disinterested in helping me. Despite my attempts to ask for assistance, they appeared to have no intention of aiding me in locating the items I needed. As a customer, I expect better service, especially in a store like PetSmart where guidance may be necessary for finding specific products. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling dissatisfied and unlikely to return in the future.

Julie should be trained on how to deal with the public. HORRIBLE experience because of one person that clearly couldn’t read the cages that are sold in that pet store. Never again will I come back to that store because of her - some people need to realize that there’s many other people out here that know and are educated with animals. Just because you work in a pet store doesn’t make you an expert. Unless you have vet degree you know to a certain extent and this completely ruined my experience at this store.

I have shopped here for many years. I stopped doing it because I no longer had pets and now after 8 months 🐾🐾 again, so I came back and always the good experience, variety of products and kindness, there are people who work there for more than 10 years, that is excellent for the client.

Cata is the worst groomer ever. Doubtful if she has any grooming training at all. Unfortunately on multiple sessions I ended up getting her as a groomer due to time constraints. She would charge you for everything on the menu and do nothing. Her attitude is the worst. And when you try to discuss an issue, all the other groomers who aren’t even relevant and have no right, gang up on you. When you request to speak with the manager, they lie to you saying he’s not available and keep you waiting for hours. I was a loyal customer for 3 years but it only gets worse and worse. Everytime I take my dog there, he’s begging me not to leave him there. God knows what they do Inside. They want easy money and no work. If you have a big dog, do not take him there. Discriminatory behavior from entrance to the exit. If you want to get a free headache even after paying 100s of $$, then this is the place to go. Every experience has left me with so much stress and anxiety here. All their good groomers have left for good.

FISH BUYERS, if you’re buying a fish, they might require pictures of your tank before you buy. EMBARRASSING how Lauren refused to sell me one $10 angel fish because she didn’t believe the size of my tank. She needed proof, pictures and all. You’re concerned about the wellbeing of a fish when PETSMART has multiple fish in a tiny tank? Hypocrisy at its best.Let’s start from the beginning. Before I told Lauren the fish I wanted, she asked me how many gallons my tank was (first time I get asked this). I wasn’t sure at the moment. It’s my husband’s tank and I explained that to her. I went as far as telling her we had an angelfish in our tank for years. However that I was there on my husbands behalf. I did give her an approx measure with my hands and compared it to a tank they had for sell nearby. (Which was 29gallons) I proceeded to buy crickets for our lizard and called my husband to verify the tank size. He told me our tank is approx 30 gallons but looks small because it’s an irregular shape. I looked for Lauren and told her what my husband said. She still refused to sell me the fish and asked for documentation. Lol ok Lauren. Am I getting a birth certificate for this fish too? At this point, it seemed like she just didn’t want to work. Incredible! Seriously, it was getting a little ridiculous. I’m also posting this because she was extremely rude and disrespectful from the beginning. And as per Lauren, she is the Manager!

Decent store that carriers a wide variety of products. Having trouble finding food for my Frenchie with allergies to chicken, and they had one food I can use. Tried every other Pet Store with no luck or no stock. Staff was very helpful in assisting me . Would definitely recommend going there and checking it out!

Took my husky in for his first deshedding grooming appointment. He's a bit anxious in new places but Erica handled him well. It took about 3.5 hours from start to finished but I am pleased with the results so far. My pup was also trimmed but not too low which am happy about. We will be keeping up his deshedding appointments with Erica for the foreseeable future.

Pam the Grooming Manger is the BEST!!!!She is knowledgeable,caring,and reallly knows what she is doing..We love how much she takes her time on our pomeranian and how gorgeous he looks.

This is my go-to place for my cats' needs. Jc also get groomed in their shop. The selection of cat foods is fantastic. Cat toys, beds, litter boxes, and different types of clumping litter. The store is easy in and out with a large parking area. Your pet can be brought into the store if on lead .

Don't waste your time getting pictures with Santa as they take quite a few and send one and you know the one they send the dog isn't even looking. Where are the other photos? Waste of my time and my pets time.

Was helped today by Ms. Shelby, not sure why she is NOT on the management team at the Plantation location. She was very informative, and helpful She was also a great sales person naturally. If you stop in , ask for Shelby ( like the race car)And if corporate sees this.. start her on the management program today, so another company wont swoop her up..Great service like this is old fashion and hard to find in 2023

I took my dog here multiple times. They always treat him good and cut his hair amazing. But Sunday was the exception. I give them 2 stars because I understand mistakes happen; nonetheless, I am very upset with the end result. Very likely that I won’t return which is a shame since I have a Petsmart account. The first photo is how he usually looks vs how you guys left him. I am so upset to see my little fella like this……

I was shopping for one specific product, which they didn't have in the size can that I was looking for. I walked around the store twice before I found employees gathered together. They couldn't help me but maybe it'll be here tomorrow. They could have just offered me the other size can for the lower price of the one that I was trying to get. But customer service is a thing of the past

This is about the groomer AugustinaShe refused to take my dog as she claimed her declaws had punctured her pads. My dog always has super curly dewclaws, and we often need them quicked during dentals because they grow so long and curly. But in 7 years she has never punctured a pad with them. I asked her to show me, and didn't see it but she said she couldn't take my dog. She told me I had to go to the vet and get them removed and then antibiotics before she could be seen.I went home, trimmed my dogs hair toes and low and behold no puncturing, just curly. I cut them and look, perfectly not punctured pads. I have no idea why she wanted to make excuses to not see my dog, but I guess I'll take my business elsewhere. Was a waste of a morning.I get that they want to check your pet out and really do appreciate it, but making up lies and claiming she needed medical attention seemed a bit much...I even told her we had just gone to the vet... anyways, had many good experiences prior, but just fyi they will turn you away for fun.

Used to be my neighborhood pet store. Went in and manager stubby bald guy checked me out. I politely said no I don't want to add my phone number. Checked out with $116 worth of merchandise and the WHOLE TIME he had to rudely comment about how much I could have saved or got another free toy etc etc. I ignored his ignorance and rudeness and at the end he said "Guess it is good for us we made more money off you" so I told him where to go. Called regional store Dawn never called me back/called again spoke to Naji/LaSondra got case numbers about the complaint. They told me they would handle it and then I get a call back from Lauren AT THE STORE I WENT TO and she said she handles it?? how in the world is that store going to handle it when regional told me they would handle it. So nothing got resolved and this stubby bald old man will continue to be a manager for 15 years being super disrespectful to clients GOOD JOB PETSMART...finding a new pet store.

I made an appointment online and when I got my dog there augustine was very rude. Said I called you multiple times and left a message. When I asked her for help she got real snooty. She should not be working in public or with our precious babies. Very rude!!!!

Employees are either hiding or hostile and rude. I've never been told at a store that I wasn't allowed to buy something until today at PetSmart. I bought a fish earlier this year from Pet Supermarket (which was a great experience with nice, helpful employees) and was trying to buy the same kind just a different color at PetSmart and they told me no because the tank I have isn't big enough even though they had like 15 stuffed in a 1 gallon tank. They were very curt and defensive about it. It felt very confrontational. All we said was, "we'd like to take home this fish." My daughters asked when we got back in the car if we were in trouble or something. Guess I'll just stick with Pet Supermarket.
