Pretty good pet store, the owners are super nice and helpfulThe prices are really competitive, with a huge variety of fish, the aquariums might not be so colorful and vibrant as other pet store, but the fish are healthy. I have try twice fish from here and have no issue.Either fresh water or salt water fish this is a good place to look.

Pet World has a very friendly staff. I got my daughters' first hamster here 🐹 🐹. They take good care of them and you can tell that they love their hamsters. They are handled frequently;my hamsters love being handle and are gentle. They also carry crickets for our chameleon at a great value. I am glad we came across this family owned store.

I always try to shop small business before ever giving my money to one of the corporate chair stores. The owners are always super sweet and helpful. I’m so glad to see them still standing, my cat is nearly ten years old and we only get things from here when possible. Keep up the good work!

I spent nearly $1500 on fish at this store，my kid wants to use the bathroom，but he was told not to use it by the bald male boss，The child had to go to a nearby store to use the toilet,Instantly felt that the boss's personality was very poor, and he would not come here in the future. The service attitude is not very friendly, and they don't answer any questions，Thank you for driving away your guests this way。

Nice couple running the store but they probably could use some help. Great variety of fish, price seems good, but tank maintenance is lacking, algae and green water dominates, it may not affect the quality of the fish but it just does not make a great visual impression.

Mike is a certified beauty. All of my fish are from here. The best prices and fish quality in sf, very wide selection of species. Not gonna lie some tanks might not be that appealing but what matters is what’s on the inside... amazing healthy fish ;)

i brought my 2 year old there to get him a gold fish ended up leaving empty handed but he left with great memories the managers were very friendly kind and even showed him the baby hamsters they were so adorable cutest little things ever and so tiny i took videos and they interacted with us as you can tell they are very knowledgeable folks they seem to have been around for a long time let's just say they are apart of the community

My go to local fish store. Mike is extremely knowledgeable and honest about all things aquatic. They will test your water and help you diagnose whatever issue your tank is having. Most importantly his fish are hardy and imo disease free.

Mike is very knowledgeable about salt water fish and corals and how to prepare and maintain your tank and keep it healthy No hard pressure selling tactics in this store. They will even tell you not to purchase something if your rank isnt ready yet or the livestock isnt a good fit for your tank

I've been visiting Mike and Denise for years. They always have great stuff for my saltwater tank and always have the greatest customer service. In this day and age where chains take over everything, you cannot beat this Mom and Pop location- great prices and great people!!!!!

My husband loves his salt water tank and my son has a fresh water tank. He uses this store for all his fish needs. They have quite the variety and the employees are very knowledgeable.They carry basic supplies for a wide variety of animals and even have hamsters available for purchase to.Anything yippy need in terms of fish, coral order care can be found here.

Great prices and awesome selection in corals, The owner is very knowlegable about all things reef. I had an issue with my reef tank and couldn't figure out what to do. After speaking with the owner a few days later my corals had life and the issue faded.

Through Pet World, I started a salt water tank about a year ago knowing nothing. Mike at Pet World has shown me as well as taught me everything. Even telling me what I shouldn’t buy yet. I haven’t lost any fish and my corals are beautiful. They had the patience to help me through the dumbest of questions and I continue to go there for all my tank needs and questions. I am still learning and they are still willing to teach. I would give Pet World a sixth star if I could!
