Heather that works there is completely out of her mind! We were not even half way through with scanning things in our cart and she said we were trying to steal items from the store I tried telling her that we weren’t even close to being done and she grabbed things in our cart that we already had scanned and started scanning them again. We frequent that dollar store and have never been treated so poorly. She does not need to be working there or in any type of customer service type roll.

Today I went, I had a full cart so I decided that the cashier will charge me. The girl who helped me is upset about helping me when she finished scanning, she told me very annoyed that that's what cashiers are for.That's what the boxes are for where you just scan and you get paid, but I didn't answer anything, but I went with my husband. My husband told him what was his problem, that's why he works there and if he doesn't like his job Look for another one, disappointed in the girl's attitude, a thin girl with glasses, I don't know her name, but that's why I don't give stars to the store...

Always love stopping by and getting what I need. Everyone's helpful only positive attitudes. Most of the time I can pop in and out within 15 minutes or less. Love it and the people!!!!

I get to the Dollar general on McIntosh road all the time. They don't necessarily have everything that I need and some things are not the best prices but it is better than the convenience store

The employees get 5 stars. Respectful helpful and effective. But the company 3 stars. BecauseThey never have anything if they do it goes fast prices are no different from walmart or family dollar you wont save any $ going. line is usually long ten or fifteen min wait at the registers. That said mostly everyone who works there is awesome and does their job well. Great place for convenience. Best DG i know of as far as the people and help. I give the employees 5 stars the company gets 3] update its worse now they keep changing it around nothing is marked correctly the employees have no clue at all what to do if a problem arises. They should shut it down.

This is our local dollar general closest to our house & has been the only DG we shop at since it opened. The store manager Steve takes pride in his store and his team does a great job trying to keep it stocked, and neat. I generally can always find what I’m looking to buy & the staff will check the back room if it’s not on the shelves. Yesterday I went in to restock on some essentials needed & I hadn’t been in the store for weeks due to the covid-19 crisis. I can never remember his name but the employee that checked me out always makes the shopping trip a fun & hilarious experience. He asked where my husband was and if we were doing ok. I am thankful for this stores team of employees working hard, putting themselves at risk during this pandemic, & still being friendly through all the craziness. Steve & team, David & I ( formerly management employees of the James L. Redman store) wish you all the best, good health, safety, and positive thoughts through this crazy time to be working in retail. Push for a raise, because you guy’s deserve it right now.

Pretty much the same as any Dollar general I went in to get what I needed I checked out everybody was fairly nice and courteous. They didn't have exactly what I needed but I found it decent substitute. Just traveling through though.

It's about 8 minutes from my house so I go there 2-3 times a week to grab snacks/cooking items I don't have, ect. Nice employees, very convenient.
