Harvest host review- Stopped in for the night and had a fantastic experience. Julia greeted us upon arrival and we parked in an open field by the goat pastures. Electricy hook up was offered and water as well. Julia took us for a farm tour and educated our family on her goats. They use the goat milk to make soaps, scrubs, body creams, and lip balms. After the tour we were able to sample their amazing products made right on the farm. We bought a scrub and she was so sweet to give our kiddos a sample goat soap. Its a beautiful location! A little tight on the road getting in with our 40ft fifth wheel but once back on the farm we had plenty of room to park and roam! Park in the dog section if you have a dog. Their new trainee gave us incorrect info that we could walk our dog from the 30 amp hookup area to the dog park. We were immediately informed by the owner that this was not acceptable, and that their massive dogs would kill ours. Not a very welcoming feeling but she was just being stern and clear; probably necessary after hearing otherwise. This could be avoided if you just boondock in the fenced in dog field. I wasn't aware they had power hookups (50a also) until we arrived, and the cost was the same as running my genny all day. The fields are huge and level, could fit over 50 RVs in each. We bought their bug spray and bug repellent soaps (uses essential oils rather than cancer causing poisons) and they're great. The tour was free, which isn't the case for many Harvest Hosts apparently. Got to pet plenty of goats. Big dogs act and sound scary but if you talk to them like you're their annoyed owner, they listen well and will leave you alone. Don't act scared in front of them. They've had like 300 volunteers work there, so the dogs are well accustomed to new people bossing them around.

Excellent quality products. More people need to discover the difference goat milk soaps and lotions can make over the standard bath soaps which are terrible for your skin. Sure, they cost more, but you will not be disappointed.

Serenity Acres is all about fun and cuteness. We absolutely loved walking the property to pet all the animals. It was a great bonus to learn about and purchase goat soap directly from the source! We highly recommend a tour - Wayne, Julia, and team are fantastic.

Julia and company were amazing! The farm itself is So Beautiful, but then you add goats, chickens, and pups and it adds up to the whole package! We have 3 dogs and we were able to camp in an almost level 3 acre pasture where we could do some lovely walks… we were greeted by a delightful host couple who gave us the lowdown then helped us park. We took the morning goat tour with Julia, then spent ALL of our retirement savings on goat scrub, soap, and lotion. I would highly recommend a stay at Serenity Acres!!!

Had a great stay with our family at Serenity Acres. The owners were very personable and the farm was well kept. The goats were very friendly and the kids loved getting the chance to feed them a snack. The goat milk products were amazing! We purchased the lip balm, soap and lotions after sampling. We can’t wait to visit again.

Not only is this place charming, clean and organized but overflowing with cute animals and amazing people. The products are all organic and farm fresh provided by some very comfortable and sweet goats. Due to goat milk being much healthier for humans I have a much easier time digesting it versus cow milk. I love having their goat milk yogurt every morning for breakfast and the cheese is a great topping for any meal! The lotion and creams are fantastic as well with many different varieties of great scents. I have some acne problems on my face but the lotions made from the goat milk help smooth my skin and almost heal it overnight. Not many other lotions have worked that well for me before until now.A great family place of education and creativity. Serenity Acres is one of the best examples of Dairy Goat farming at its best!

I was already in love with Serenity Acres's soaps and body creme, but I am even more thrilled about supporting them after visiting the farm. The farm tour lasted about 90 minutes and the owner, Julia, explained the hows and whys of pasture rotation, mobile hen houses, and the farm's breeding methods. After cuddling baby goats -so cute- we were shown where the soaps and body cremes were made. It made for an educational and fun day.

This was our first stay with a Harvest Host. Julia was amazing and took care of us as we were running behind due to traffic. The crew took care of us the next day giving us a tour of the farm and also picking up some of the skin care products. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our trip through the farm with several other families. We got to see the chickens and dogs and spend a bunch of time with the goats and their kids. It's a slow paced learning experience with hands on time with the animals, so suitable for kids of all ages. There are products for sale at the end of the tour also (optional to purchase). $7 per person for the tour, book in advance with the owner.

We recently surprised our youngest daughter (14 yr.) with a trip to the farm. It was an extraordinary visit! She was beyond elated, and the goat (and chicken) farm was clean, well kept, and delightful. The tour was very informative and friendly! We learned so much. We will definitely return! The staff is very nice and helpful. Their products look and smell amazing. The best part of the visit for me was play time with the baby goats. Champ was the sweetest little guy and made everyone feel so welcome! Overall it was a fun time!

Their products are amazing. The soaps leave your skin soft and silky. The Goat's Milk Soap – Activated Charcoal Teatree & Lavender works wonderfully on any imperfections you may have on your skin and my whole family is using. We also love the pest-off for keeping all the mosquitos, knats, etc. off when outdoors. We have not used any product that wasn’t good. I highly recommend researching their products and trying them out. Thanks You Serenity and all the goats for great products and renewed skin.

I am officially a Serenity Acres' products addict ! Having had the opportunity to watch and help in the soap and the lotion making I can tell that every single ingredients is natural and environmentally respectful. But it is also so efficient and god it smells so good (personally I love the almond and oats soap). I have never had a better skin since I used the salt & glow scrub and the lavender body lotion is actually so moisturizing that you really don't need to put a huge quantity on your skin !

According to my wife: "This is by far the best soap I have ever used! I absolutely love the way it makes my skin feel. I don't need to use as much body lotion after a shower, so my body lotion is lasting longer. I'm noticing that dark spots on my skin fading. I love the notes from the goats.
