5 Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Healthy fish, wide selection, lowest prices around, knowledgeable and helpful! Hands down the best place around. I’m newer to the fish tank world and like an idiot I went to 2 different major chain stores and spent 4 x’s as much. Plus, if I asked employees of Petco or PetSmart, it was like pulling teeth to find someone to help me or answer a question. One fish from PetSmart had ick and killed my tank, even with ick treatment. I drained and set up my tank again and came here. Can’t say enough good things. My fish are healthy and happy. 20$ for 8 fish. The earned my business for life. Thank you!

He's there because he enjoys it and to make a reasonable profit, not because he just wants to maximize profits (like a chain store). Cares about things! Been going to this place for over 15 years. Owner is a very nice guy helped me out tremendously when my house got tented for termites. Have a 400gallon with 15 huge cichlids. Owner held on to my fish for me for a week. No other store would do it. Was a blessing and I'm soooo grateful. Great selection of fish and great prices. Guy is a very cool dude. Highly recommend.

Went in looking for discus. As far as I can tell there is one employee/ owner. Way to big of a shop to have one person. Owner was very knowledgeable and very friendly/easy to talk to. Had a nice selection of freshwater fish but the shop needs a great deal of work. I didn’t purchase as I didn’t find the specific fish I wanted... but I would be hesitant. The condition of the tanks leaves a great deal to be desired.

This is one of the better fish stores in the area. It's in a fairly dingy little building and there's nothing flashy by way of store decoration but the fish are top quality and reasonably priced. The owner is very helpful if a little gruff. Over the 4 years I've been going to fish stores in the area the fish from Living Color always live longer and seem to be better quality than anywhere else.

Number one store for discus fish Great variety Fabulous colors, Excellent health, Great price....Not only that i highly recommend this place Not just for discus fish But also other aquatic marine Species in the store As well.I live in Tampa,FL Don't mind traveling Specifically to this store It's worth the drive. Ken is the bomb. He hand picks all of his fish so you really get a great selection of what's available at that time. He also knows practically everything there is to know about cichlids. This place is definitely a must go to if you're into African cichlids. Can always has a wide variety great selection and even better prices than most of his competitors. I try to stop by at least once a week to see what's new.

Don't let the low key and low end appearance of this store fool you. It's a good place to get fish, food, and supplies. The owner is nice and very helpful. He has a good variety of fish including discus and cichlids which are always healthy. I recommend you check it out.

A little over a year ago I gave this place a 5 star. We went last week and I have never encountered such a place in my life. It was like a horror film in there. The filth in these tanks was just unfathomable. All kinds of algae growth and no scaping etc. The place was filthy. Those poor fish living in those conditions. Looks like the tanks hadn't been taken care of in many many months. What a depressing and horribly run down place. Needs to be shut down or needs someone in there who cares. High prices too!! If you want to go to a top of the line fish store with healthy fish, beautiful tanks and LOWER prices, try A&R aquariums. Do not go here unless you want to leave depressed.

One of my favorite stores in the area and Ken is really helpful with finding fish or supplies. He helped me several times with miscellaneous things like worn impeller for filters. The prices are also really great on both fish and supplies.

Real nice guy runs the shop and fish are extremely healthy. Good prices on the fish too and has a huge range of them. No saltwater fish though so if that's what you are looking for he doesn't have them, but he has discus fish and many other types of sought out freshwater fish.

Great place, great owner, great service. I've been going here since getting into the aquarium hobby and I have yet to have a problem from Living Tropical in Pinellas Park. The area itself is not exactly the best location and happens to be near a pawn shop, but once you get past the door, you'll feel a lot better.
