So I'm sitting in the parking lot trying to figure out what exactly me and my girlfriend needed when a female employee knocks on the window of my car. She then proceeds to tell us that if we need something then we better hurry up and get in the store to get it because she was closing. She said we had 2 minutes to shop. While my girlfriend was in the store I checked the time on my phone and we at that point still had a good 8 minutes before they would normally close. My girl comes out and said that the same employee followed her around the store rushing her asking her to hurry up etc. There was still 3 minutes left before closing time when she got back into the car. This was very rude and unprofessional for anyone working in customer service to act like and doesn't reflect well on the company that she is employed by.

Love the new produce n fruits section as well as a now larger selection of dairy, meat, frozen meals, beer and wine products. Will definitely be shopping here more locally thanks to the new product. Prices are as competitive as local grocery stores and very reasonable for people on budget 👍

This store has very small storage area, so when supplies delivered, they have to be but into aisles in store. Staff works very hard to stock shelves. But customer service comes first, do they will stop stocking to help out customers. Very happy and upbeat staff.

This is my store. It's also the only store in Pierson that pretty much stocks everything I need without having travel to demanding, 17 miles away. The staff is incredible, especially Laura, Debbie and Rene. These ladies put up with a lot: trucks coming in every day, with no room to store or stock, and customers who don't understand what they're up against. Yet, they manage to smile and remain professional. Kudos to you all?!!

The manager and staff go out of their way to be friendly, courteous and helpful whenever our family shops. The store is always neat, clean and stocked well. A true small town asset.

What can we say - Dollar General has been there for our community through the pandemic! They kept many of us fed and supplied and it is amazing the number of products they stock in small stores. Our store is also a FedEx drop off. Thank you for being in our small towns.

Did not have 2 of the items I went for. Had to move the large carts to get to one of the items I went for. Cashier not friendly nor helpful. Requested items be double bagged due to the fact the bags are so thin. When arriving home the milk fell out of a ripped bag, on to the drive way and busted. Gee, thanks DG....

Not really a fan of dollar general. Not many things are $1. Store was cluttered and unorganized. Short on staff because only 2 cashiers and no floor staff. No mask policy not followed by staff. Had to pick up some last minute items so found what I needed but it took some time.

Small, neighborhood place, so you see the same faces all the time. Very friendly and helpful folks, any time off day or night. These are not easy times, and people make it just a bit easier.

This store is filthy most every time I would TRY to shop here. The customer service at this location has been mostly terrible every time I would go there. I've previously posted a picture showing a disgusting isles, selfs not stocked. I will post a video showing how disrespectful a employee is to customers. With this being said, I will try to avoid shopping from this store.

Pierson Dollar General - also known to locals as The Pierson Mall, or simply The Deeg. It is a well packed finely oiled machine that provides the humble folks for Pierson with the quick essentials. Staff is always welcoming and friendly.

Living in a small town, Dollar general is really all there is. Its not so neat and clean, the staff is lacking in friendliness and customer service and the mark up is way higher than Walmart or even publix but it has the essentials.

Best little place in Pierson to get general stuff. Packed to the gills, so don't go with claustrophobia. Staff are super friendly

I have to edit my previous review which was negative to say the least. Since the store has been remodeled it us no longer cluttered. It is a pleasure to shop there now.

Cheapest store in the town of Pierson by far. All the other stores in town are convenience stores however, most of the time DG is just as fast so why not pay much lower prices for the same item.

It is what it is a dollar store, sort of. Great for that last minute item you need and sometimes cheaper than the other stores for Coke and Pepsi products.
