I went in this morning 9/17/2022 at around 9am to make some purchases. One of which was apple juice for my household. I go to the back wall and start looking at my options. I pick up the Mott’s apple juice and unknowingly picked up the Mott’s for tots and noticed that the date said Best Buy 9/03/2022. So I put it back and looked at the date on the other 2 that were on the shelf and the were both expired going back to 8/2022. I decided to purchase the regular Mott’s apple juice which wasn’t expired. I calmly without causing a scene call over Carolyn (the manager) and told her they were expired and she proceeds to tell me that I don’t have to come in and check their dates. As a customer I have every right to check the dates on what I am about to buy and I have better things to do with my time than to come into an establishment and just check dates. The rudeness and disrespect given due to her stores lack of attention and accountability is ridiculous and to make me seem like I’m in the wrong because of expired product on their shelf is insane. A child could have gotten extremely sick because of it and I’m made to feel I’m in the wrong. I’ve been going to this store for almost 3 years now and have never been treated this way.

Quite honestly this is the BEST Dollar General on the entire west side of Pensacola! Clean and organized, constantly well-stocked (and without rolltainers & U-boats blocking the aisles), and the most friendly and helpful staff of any DG store I've ever been in! The new manager, Jason, understands the most basic of basics when it comes to running a retail operation: When you take care of the customers the customers take care of you by spending their money there...and when they take care of you then you are taking care of corporate too. Having been a past DG manager, DG corporate could learn a lot from this guy because he KNOWS how to run a store where everybody wins!

always have exactly what i need. By far the best dollar general in the area. Always clean and super friendly. saved me when i forgot the spaghetti sauce at publix

Very nice, big, and clean store. Staff greet you when you walk in. Very clean and organized. Unlike the one on Nine Mile Rd by the rail road tracks.

BE CAREFUL WITH THIS DOLLAR GENERAL STORE!I have been there numerous times. I have been overcharged for items that are on sale and now I have had things added on to my receipt without my knowledge or consent.When called on this, the workers seem nonchalant about it and always blame it on the computer having things not priced properly or "accidentally" pressing the wrong button on the cash register that adds donations to your receipt.I call BS on that.

The grass looks like a jungle, they need a lawn service!! Every time I go in I have to search for a worker just to checkout and the manager always looks high as a kite.

Every time I go there I get no service when I need to call home to see what they need and I have to stop in the middle of the store and walk out side to place my call because they have something that blocks signal and it's just irritating
