I just left this dollar general I was trying to buy a Google play card the old white guy that worked their said he couldn't change the amount on the card now mind you I asked him this before he ring up the card he disregarded me and just did it anyway so i asked for my money back he got pissed and snatched the money out register and throw my money on the counter that's when I said you don't have to be nasty then he went off crying to the other cashier like he didn't do anything and he's such a victim i just walked off he wanted a reaction i wasn't willing to give him he's bitter and need to quit or get better professionalism skills either-or.

It's clean!!! The shelves are stocked with no boxes in the isles. The prices are good to. Compared to other stores including Walmart! The produce is good and fresh. I met some of the staff. They are very nice and clean as well. The makings of a dependable new store for our community!!!❤️Tone

I don't recommend this store I wish the owner can see the workers and hygiene they're smoking outside the store and come inside and go to cashier and without washing and hold the customer groceries not good at all nasty and gross the black lady she's working part time she's very clean and neat using gloves and tissue to wipe the counter the rest is nasty just being real hands are dirty transferring micro bacterial and contamination not good

When in today to buy tobacco products and was refuse service claiming my license was not valid and claimed they could not read my date of birth which is clearly still readable most disrespectful customer service I've ever been through and any Dollar general

What a wonderful staff this DG has! This is a very clean and well maintained store. For myself I feel so much more comfortable shopping in a store that is being taken care of properly. The selection of food items here make a quick shopping trip way easier. If you forget to get something when you do your big grocery shopping trip, the chance of being able to run to this store and get it are pretty good.

For months now, crates everywhere and empty shelves. 2 registers but they only use 1, regardless of how long the line is. Steadily going down hill. Will go across street to Family Dollar. At least they are stocked, clean, and no long lines.

Generally stocked but rarely Staffed and that leads to a long wait. And be prepared to police the line of customers yourself, the staff will not refuse to ring up someone who just steps in front of you regardless of his much you protest. I have had this issue at this location in 3 of the last 4 visits.

I had the worst experience last night. I went there for milk. Which they didn't even have. All the shelves were almost empty. I got a couple of things out of the clearance bin because they said they said they were half of. There was multiple with the same clearance price on them. When I got to the register and the gentleman started to ring them up and they came up full price. So he had to call the manager to help. She was rude from the beginning and than told me that "somebody put the wrong sticker on it" and was so rude about it like it's my fault. I let her know that all of them had that price on them. And she still was rude and proceeded to get a attitude and said that it isn't the right price. So your telling me that All of the ones are priced wrong? So I told her that I didn't even want it than. She didn't even apologize and just went back outide and got into a car with some dude. Very unprofessional. The more I thought about it the more mad I got so I called back to her her name and nobody answered. After the 5th time calling she answered the phone and denied being rude and REFUSED to tell me her name AND HUNG UP ON ME and wouldn't answer when I called back multiple times. She didn't apologize for the inconvenience. Any other store would say sorry at least and sell it at the price that it's marked and fix it after the fact. What a unprofessional manager. I will never go back there ever again. Nor will my family or friends. If I could do negative stars I would. Don't waste your time at this store. I will go way out of my way before I ever go here again!!!

This is the WORST location in town. Last year, while waiting for a cashier, a young man came out of the office and said "I guess I will help you" He was on a personal cell phone call and never hung up. There were signs that read "CUSTOMER , PUT YOUR ITEMS BACK WHERE YOU FOUND THEM! Another sign read,"If you don't have exact change, we will round your purchase up". I commented to the young man that they appeared to becoming a self service store, at which point, the young man loudly proclaimed, "Lady, YOU are what's wrong with the world today!". I will drive 50 miles out of my way before spending one dime at this location. This Friday, the entire store was closed, yet another sign on the door "We are closed today, sorry for the inconvenience".

The shorter gentleman always has a polite attitude. Tall man with the elf hat is always super friendly and helpful. It takes a lot to keep a positive attitude when there are so many rude customers. Kudos to them!

This is the closest one to my houseAndAfter my truckWas wrecked we had To walk everywhere we went. After getting the milk and 2 to 3 other items we NEEDED we went to pay and the employees that were there were RUDE NASTY AND DEROGATORY TWARDS ME AND MY HUSBAND. If I can help it I will never shop at a dollar general again

Staff were not wearing masks behind plexiglass and were not enforcing mask requirement, but 90% of shoppers wore masks (thanks a lot, you who refuse). Store is well stocked with wine, beer, groceries, cosmetics, household items, clothing and more. A much better stop than the Family Dollar store further East on W. Michigan Ave.

Now the store itself is always clean and the workers are usually nice. My only real complaint is that the lines are too long and that when my one soon to be two year old dropped his face mask in there about a week to a week and a half ago I believe the worker picked it up and put it in her pocket. Wow! That's right in nasty COVID-19 pandemia a disgusting person actually stole a baby's face mask to wear as their own and just so she knows we had just finish visiting a relative that has it, so good luck baby girl and enjoy quarantine.

I like Dollar general. But every time I go in you have so much merchandise for such a small store. I know it's Christmas and you have a lot of merchandise coming in the back door going out the front door I understand it's just small spaces. One employee cashiering inside, two sitting outside smoking, one sitting on a shopping cart turned over in the edge of woods. Shopping carts cost money. I will return to Dollar general stores but don't want to be a stockholder.

The clerks are always friendly and very helpful. I gave this DG the 2 stars ONLY because the parking lot is so bad. There used to be big ditches in the middle of 4 parking spots. Complained about them for about 9 months. They were a lawsuit waiting to happen. Corporates idea of a fix was to put a tiny bit of asphalt in the holes. The lot is crumbling and falling apart. The last parking spot isn't even a whole spot anymore. This DG is a very busy store and the owner should put the money into it and redo the entire lot. This one is 3 blocks away but I go to another one because the lot is so bad. It's a shame. Wonder if code enforcement should be involved.

We came in the day Saturday, October 7th had great service. I did not receive a receipt because I didn't get my change back due to the fact it was about .08 cents and we were trying to get out of the store because there was a hurricane coming. Well when my boyfriend went in to return candles and batteries and they were treated like they stole it. It's extremely frustrating. The women they talked to name was Tina and she was shaking her head saying she can only do $10 it's store policy. I've never had a problem returning anything without a receipt.

I do not like going into any Dollar General anymore. No matter what city I am in, the stores are cluttered with so many items that a person feels claustrophobic. If you enter a store on stocking days, it's even worse. There will be boxes and carts in the aisles that make it hard to walk and shop. Dollar General needs to revamp the stores and declutter. Alsothe aisles need to be spaced further apart in some stores.

The srore and staff were good. I think the isles are a little close, but that seems to be all Dollar General stores. I would rate it higher but... their paking lot is HORRENDOUS!! The parking lot is riddled with deep pot holes, which makes it hard to park and a falling hazard for customers. Spend some money and fix the parking lot!

The person behind the counter was friendly but then need to post their Western Union policy outside. They will let you send any amount you want but can only pick up $300. I had someone sending me $500 so that was a wasted stop.
