My elderly mother had been at of the hospital for 2 days and she misplaced her medication on a Friday. She is to see her primary on Monday. Knowing it would be almost impossible to solve this problem on a Friday afternoon, the pharmacist let me have an emergency 3 day pill supply of the 2 most important prescriptions. Excellent service and very kind staff.

Got new insurance so they texted me on 1/12/24 that they had to get my meds approved by my MD. 1/30/24 they still had not filled it. I had been out for days so I went in because never had any luck getting them to answer the phone. Finally they said yes it was approved but they had not filled it so I had to wait as if they had to count pills. An this one all they have to do is slap the lable as it is already in the bottle measured out. This is poor sevice again. Since I got yelled at and bullied by their employees last time they screwed up it is extremely stressful for me to even go in there and if they screw up like this I am ready thinking they are going to yell at me again.

Prescriptions should have information on the container…. Ya’ll really can’t print the sticker and put it on the bottle? So you’re just giving people bottles of pills with no information on them… Malpractice?

Left on hold for 50 minutes and they disconnected my call. Needed to leave instructions to put my Rx in one bottle instead of leaving me to dig out the cotton of the manufactured bottle. Thomas Patterson was the pharmacist on duty. Totally unacceptable. Got through on second call and Emmy finally answered telling me she got back to me in two minutes the first time but I wasn't there. I was there the whole time.

Very unprofessional. I was picking up a prescription and two of the pharmacy employees were making jokes about how customers couldn't pay for their 300 dollar prescriptions. The conversation was so loud that everyone in the pharmacy waiting area could hear. I will not be back and encourage anyone who is thinking of having their prescriptions filled at this location to go elsewhere.

It’s ridiculous what pharmacies have become . The corporate pharmacies have bought out all the mom and pop pharmacies and out goes customer service. This is about our medication, something our lives depend on but these corporate pharmacists act as if we’re calling to check on a pair of shoes. This CVS actually told me to call and check other CVS pharmacies for my son’s medication after they failed to order it. Read that again- they failed to order my child’s medication, and a week goes by and I call to check on the status and I’m told to do their job and call around other CVS to get the prescription they forgot about. How sad is that? I would say “DO BETTER!” But I’d have to have confidence that they’re able to do better, and I don’t, because they can’t and won’t. The END….

This location is a waste of time. I wanted to drive thru for convenience, but the last few times there was a sign saying I had to go in.When I first switched to this pharmacy a few months ago they had the rudest pharmacist I've ever had to encounter. I thought maybe he is just having a bad day. No. It was every single time for weeks. I even called and spoke to a manager about them because it happened a few different times and each time his attitude made me feel like I was asking him to do the impossible for me and I was stupid for doing so. I hadn't seen that person recently so I was comfortable again going back in, but it has still been awful. Under staffed sure, but no excuse for the last couple of days. I can't even get my prescription. They messed up my kids prescription and my husband had to be there for half an hour to get it all sorted. If they aren't closed randomly, there's no one to help you unless you wait, wait, wait, and wait some more. Today however I am officially done trying with them. They had 3 people working. Two of them were dealing with someones issue while the other lady ignored the line inside. I say ignored because we are all waiting inside line for pick up. No one says anything to any of us. A car pulls up in the drive thru line and she goes to them right away. After seeing that, I left. I am getting my prescription transferred. I am done feeling like I am just an inconvenience to their business.

The teenager who assisted us had completely ignored us standing at that counter and was playing on his cellphone. When I stated “I believe I have some pictures to pick up” he stared at me, rolled his eyes, and said “last name?”. He proceeded to gather our pictures and ring us up, while still on his phone, and said no more words. The whole experience was awful and super uncomfortable. If this teen doesn’t want to be polite to customers he should not be working in customer service. I did walk the store looking for a manager but none were found. Will not return to this location again.

Poor customer service!!Took my mother into CVS because She was having an allergic reaction to some make up she put on her eyes. She already takes medication that makes you drowsy so we needed to ask about that and Benadryl. At this point her eyes are swollen shut and they’re burning. we asked to speak to the pharmacist who is vacuuming, we waited and we’re polite. We got tired of waiting so we wondered off looking at other things came back and she stopped vacuuming to answer the phone. There were two people working. They were very rude. If it was possible to give them a zero I would. This pharmacy has the most incompetent staff I have ever dealt with. I have pulled all my medications but the one because it is controlled and was told they where unable to transfer it. The pharmacy 1st does not ever answer their phone. If you do drive thru you need to be prepared to sit their for 20-40 minutes every time. Today I was told they could not bill my secondary insurance, it was my responsibility to pay for it then put in for a refund. When I called the insurance company they told me thay only the pharmacy can send in for payment. So I was put on hold while they tried to call them, like usual they never answered their phone. This is truly the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They honestly do not know what they are doing. Trust me when I say find any other pharmacy but gulf beach hwy cvs.

Recently visited CVS pharmacy located at 44 Gulf Beach Hwy, Pensacola Fl 32507 and a lady by the name of Kelsey waited on me and she was very courteous and she provided some information to me about getting my end of the year total of monies spent on prescriptions. I really appreciate her professional way of providing this information to me. I feel that she went out of her way to provide this help and information to help me. Surely CVS should have some way to reward employees like Kelsey as she made me feel a lot better about getting my prescriptions filled at this CVS location in the future.

Slowest pharmacy I've ever been to. My biggest complaint is that I have four scripts there and two of them they automatically refill each month as they should but the other two that Also should be refilled automatically, I have to call everytime and tell them to refill them 😒 I used to get reminders but don't even get those anymore. The two stars are for the ladies that work the counter or drive thru as they are always nice and friendly.

Just left the store attempting to load my Walmart card with money. This transaction has been preformed on numerous occasions. I have a CVS pharmacy literally across the street, located on Fairfield & Lillian... never had a problem.On the contrary, the cashier at this store on Gulf Beach highway informed me that his register sometimes doesn't work properly (loading money onto a card).So I requested for manager assistance. The manager started to explain why the card may not be loading and I asked if she could try it again while she was explaining, because I was pressed for time. Her eyes begin to bulge (like she took offense to it) and then proceeded to ask her employee to try it again.However I asked specifically if she could try it this time, and then she said, "does it matter who tries it?"SMH... Poor customer service skills and very unprofessional as a leader I might add... especially as someone in a managerial position.

I’m super frustrated that I picked up a prescription and they did not inform me that my prescriptions were not complete I get home and realize they did not give me my antibiotic and I have an horrible toothache right now that could potentially be infected and go to my heart and potentially damage me. They don’t answer their phone. I work hours that have prevented me from picking it up and now it will be two days after dropping it off. Why couldn’t they give me the courtesy of letting me know that not all my prescriptions were available and that I would have to come back in between so and so hours. Why couldn’t they give me the common courtesy of letting me know hey… we are basically just useful for the Covid shot and test and nothing else and we can’t fill your prescription go to a more resourceful and useful pharmacy? If I get heart problems l a w s u i t .

When they are busy or just bring their natural selves they can be so rude and nasty. No matter how polite you are. I really hope they are getting paid really well to act as such. You never know what a person is going through vice versa.

Can't tell you how much I pray they close!The way they belittle customers. They take it upon themselves to mess with the health and stability we all have a right to. My blood pressure meds are now off (along with almost everything else), due to this pharmacy!They took it upon themselves to not only cancel prescriptions, but lie about transferring them, and then just flat out refuse to transfer when all other bs had been exhausted. They are no doubt getting people killed with how they run their business. Lifespans are definitely being trimmed with people like this in charge ... and it's still happening. OBVIOUS pattern in 'care' if you look at how many stars they have.... Or if you spend EVEN 15 minutes listening without needing service near pharmacy. Absolutely mind blowing the lack of customer service, care, and ability to just do THIER JOB! Cold individuals completely unaware of thier important position; ignorant lack of communication skills, an atmosphere suited for fight club not for mental/physical health.

[UPDATE 4/22/2022: Sadly had to switch to Walgreens since CVS no longer honors Florida Blue Cross Blue Shield. Bad decision on their part, since many Floridians are on this Insurance.]I just switched from Walmart (3 stars) to CVS (5 stars) on Gulf Beach Hwy. The price for meds is astoundingly low compared to Walmart Pharmacy. They have a sign that states they are currently training Staff and to be Patient. They are doing an excellent job, because my 1st visit for prescription pickup was quick, professional and friendly. Great prices and well trained staff with a Drive Thru option. What else do you need? I REALLY hope this store is not a victim of the Nation Wide closures CVS is currently experiencing.

Pulled up to the drive thru at 2 min before closing and the person literally closed the blinds in my face. You had 2 minutes left before you were supposed to close and you didn't have to be rude about it, you could have took 10 Seconds and been professional and told me you were closing and not shut the screen in my face.

Called,and as we all know; got put on hold by the system because I needed to speak to someone in the pharmacy. After awhile of waiting I decided to drive over and see if they answered before my sick self had to walk in .... They did not! I did however get the privilege of walking back to see 4 ladies sitting on their a$$ while the phone rang.No thank you! I will never use CVS again, and shame on whoever hired such lazy uncaring individuals in such an important department!!!!ESPECIALLY RIGHT NOW!!!!!NO ONE IN LINE, NO ONE IN DRIVE THRUUNBELIEVABLE

Worst drug store in America. Understaffed. Expect to wait days for prescriptions. I’m trying to have my scripts transferred to another pharmacy, but the new pharmacist already warned me it will take awhile because they don’t answer their phones! I’m currently on hold for 25 minutes. Went into store, there are 6 people on line at the pharmacy. Manager of store- not around. Go anyplace else!!

Very rude pharmacy. The store staff themselves have always been nice and helpful but the pharmacy is a completely different story. Took my brother there to fill his prescription and they turned him away because the prescription was for pain meds. My brothers arm was in a sling with clear indications of recent surgery. They could've called the Dr if they really thought he was med seeking. Went down the street to Walmart and had zero problems. Told his Dr about the experience on his next checkup hoping his staff would not recommend CVS. Very rude and very unprofessional. Will never recommend. The rest of the store employees are the only reason I didn't give one star.

I’ve always had problems with this pharmacy so, I’ve switched to cvs on Fairfield drive. Very nice, personable staff. Well, I had to take a prescription to this cvs because my cvs in Fairfield was out of the medicine. I’ve been waiting 3 hours now with no results. I’ve called several times but they won’t answer the phone! Someone really needs to investigate this pharmacist! He treats you like a criminal if you happen to have a scheduled prescription. I urge everyone in the warrington area to change pharmacies. Try the one on Fairfield and Lillian. They have the nicest and most efficient staff I’ve ever seen!

The pharmacist thinks she is god. She will call to touch base with me to see why my script was filled "early" when it absolutely wasn't. It was submitted on the app which said "ready to fill" and doesn't give you that option unless it's time. This is not the first time she has tried to override my doctor.

I will never, ever, ever fill another prescription here. They call twice a day bugging me about filling a prescription that I am eligible for. I don't want the prescription, need it or care to be coerced into coming in there. I've tried everything I can to get off their call list. I can't even block the number because they keep changing the robo call number. I hate these guys.

If you have any choice at all, don't use this pharmacy. The store is awesome, but the pharmacy is horrible. I have yet to experience a single encounter that wasn't fraught with errors, rudeness, or both.

I don’t know who people have been dealing with with the pharmacy here, but every member of the Pharmacy staff was absolutely wonderful for us. We are traveling and our dog needed a prescription filled and they were helpful and accommodating!
