Horrible service. Chocked out my parents dog. We have video & pictures with proof! Barbara still denies it & claims she was the one bathing and clearly in the video we saw the male worker with her upside down & clearly chocking her. Trying to say it was from soap. We called to ask questions & Barbara got extremely loud, rude & said words that I won’t repeat! Be careful who you drop your pet off to!!

Didn't even make it through the door. The smell of cat urine was overpowering it could be smelled outside. Husband and I agree that if it smelled that bad, it was not safe or healthy to leave our exotic Frenchie for grooming services.

This groomer is amazing, very warm and welcoming and goes above and beyond to meet your needs. I truly felt great over the phone, by the time I arrived moments later it was sealed!! Barbara has gained a new baby and I am most comfortable with entrusting her with Cali.

I wish I was making this up but I am not - Barbara should not be conducting business anymore. She offered my girlfriend and I an off the book service to foster our three cats while we moved to a new home. At first we saw no red flags and felt like they were in good hands, I was extremely grateful for the kindness she extended. When it came around time for us to bring the cats home, my girlfriend contacted Barbara and informed that two of the three cats got out and were hit by a car, one other still remains missing and stated that a unknown rescue group picked up a bunch of cats a couple of months ago. I am infuriated with this situation as she did not communicate anything at any point to us on the well being of our animals and went against our instructions for them stating “she cannot control them”. Neighbors surrounding have indicated that they constantly see animals, free roaming, in and out of this business and ultimately are unsure of the quality of care animals receive during their stay here. If there is not proper management or the person is not capable (mentally or physically) then nobody should be taking in any animals or even grooming. This situation has left us completely devastated. I am making this post because I am genuinely concerned about the well being of other animals or potential customers that frequent here because the organization of this practice is not cohesive at all. Our remaining cats name is Goose and he was last in the care of Barbara.

We have been taking our American Foxhound Gunner to see Ms. Barbara since he was only a few months old. The friendly staff and quick turn around is exactly what we need out here off 9mile. Gunner always gets an amazing shampoo a bowtie and a toy! Best prices in town by far!

Got my dog groomed,bathed, nails done. They are amazing there. Been there several times now.They send him home with a tie and a toy every time. The ladies working there are all very sweet.

Took my Yorkie to get shampooed, cut...groomed. I informed Groomers the length of the cut by physical & verbal examples, as well as, explaining why (She has sensitive skin). I requested her hair cut be at least an inch long.. When i picked my dog up she has a little bandana tied around her neck, hair shaved to the skin and shaking scared, this is not what I asked for not either of above. I was being courteous when I didn't mention my disgust even when I had to pay fifty bucks. Upon arriving home I removed the bandana to find razor blade burn on my dogs neck ...chin to chest, bleeding . I called to discuss this issue and was told I was crazy and that they don't scare dogs. So happy I found this place. They're very thorough and compassionate. I love how you can watch your fur baby being groomed via their YouTube feed. Prices were good I'll definitely be back.

I've gotten my two elderly dogs groomed here for a couple years and I couldn't be more pleased with Barbara and her crew. The owner, Barbara is there everyday and you can tell she genuinely loves all the animals and enjoys her job. She is always taking in strays as well, which says a lot about her character. My dogs always look beautiful and smell great when they are done and they are not scared there. It's a happy environment for them as well.

We take our morkie across town to Ms. Barbara because she is really good with him and he is always happy when I go and pick him up to come home. Her shop is across town for me , which is abt an extra 10 miles. I literally past abt 4 other shops right here by my house to take him to her.

It was a little noisy, but they were very caring and compassionate with my pups. One of my puppers hates his back nails trimmed and he screams. They worked with him and still finished the job with care. Much appreciated!

Unprofessional and rude owner. Very disorganized inside and out. Will hang up on you if you ask a question she doesn’t feel like answering or cuss you out if you have a request pertaining to your animal while her care. I would not trust this woman at all. Smell is horrible inside and trash/old kennels left outside. Windows are left open so animals could roam or get out, saw atleast 3 or 4 cats hangout around the window sill. I hope these aren’t somebody’s babies potentially getting out. If I could give less than 1 star than I would.

Do not bring your animals here!!! The owner is extremely rude and not only that they lose animals they are supposed to be taking care of. If you call about your lost animals you will be greeted by Barbara who will then cuss you out and not let you get a word in. They are heartless, dishonest, and downright cruel!!! Please do not bring your animals here as I am genuinely concerned for their well-being! This place needs to be investigated!

I needed a groomer that could get my little fur baby in and decided to called Barbara. My Darla is an older baby and has seizures. Barbara took her straight in and started grooming her and taking care of her. When I picked her up, she was beautiful and wasn’t even shaking like she has in the past where I have been taking her. Thank you so much for being knowledgeable about her seizures and for taking such great care of her.

I have been taking my Shitzu to Barbara’s now for over 2 years. Each time she looks so beautiful and very clean! And if there were any issues, they let me know. All the staff are friendly and professional! I took my dog, before Barbara’s, to a chain store dog groomer and prices were outrageous and they didn’t even finish grooming my dog, I was told I had to go back the next day for them to finish..That was Terrible! I would recommend Barbara’s over a chain store groomer any day :).

Shaved one half of my dog left the other side long. Not normally Barbara's work. She has upped her prices so much on small dogs I cant afford it!60 dollars on a 15 pound dog! I hate to see the charge on a medium or large breed that would be nearing 70 or 80 bucks or more

I brought my 7 month old Maltipoo puppy to receive a trim so that her puppy hair would get cut off. She had about 4 inches of hair and I asked to have 2 inches cut off. Well I pick her up to see that she has been fully shaved with barely 1/2 inch of hair left. Not to mention, her hair length wasn’t the same in all areas of her body. One side of her face is cut extremely short and the other side is long. Both sides are cut lopsided and so obvious to the eye. There building is extremely outdated and dirty. It smells awful and the entire place is a messy wreck just like the people working there. You could practically see all the fleas jumping around. All they want is your money, they don’t care about the dogs or their owners requests. Don’t ever take your sweet dogs to this business!!

Prices continue to go up and service continues to go down. Staff members are extremely rude and it starts with Barbara. They leave all the animals on the floor so if one is sick....guess what they are all contaminated. With the new strand of dog flu being reported in Florida this is just not acceptable. I agree with previous post o.k. here, Barbara needs to close it down, maybe at one time she cared...no longer its all about the money. They only want to shave pets not groom them. Horrible do not go there!!

The first time I brought my toy poodle one of the workrs did him. It was done superbly. The next time the only goomer was Barbara. What a botch job. the neck was all lopsided and very long, had not even been toudhed on one side. But it was uneven on the other side. No hair was pulled out of the ears. I take it you have to request that now. Nails were long as was the hair on the legs. His ears were still matted where they were matted before. I had to cut off the matting.. I cannot recommend this groomer @ all.
