Gave Moki a shampoo & blow dry!! What a great set up...appreciate the warm water sprayer, cool air dryer and towels provided!! Grabbed a great deal on Chewy & Stella freeze dried food for her too

We went to get fish for my granddaughter and ended up with 2 tank kits!! 1 for fish and 1 for our new family member!! Its a Fancy Leopard Gecko !! The lady we talked to (Kim) was very knowlegable, patient, answered and explained all our questions, friendly and very professional !! I would recommend people needing pet supplies, food, tanks, everything you can think of !! We will certainly return to this store !!

I really hate knocking down a new business, especially in parrish as we need them. I'm giving a 2 because they have a rewards program that I signed up for, and the place is brand new and clean.I'm only giving a 2 because shelves were labeled incorrectly or items were placed in incorrect spots. I picked up a plastic spike ball in the 89-cent labeled bin. The sticker also said spiked ball. At the register, the same ball came up $8.90. When I questioned it, another girl came over. I said I could show you where they are located as there are more of the same item in that spot. I showed her, and she said oh someone must have put them there.. she offered to take them off my receipt. She didn't honor the unlabeled incorrect item.We bought a few toys ... Mind you, we bought them today. Our dogs broke them in a short time frame . My husband went back to show them the unsafe toys as they legit played with them for less than 15 minutes total, and choking hazards existed. They told us that they couldn't return these items or exchange them. My husband was told, "If we can't put it back on our shelves, then we can't return them." Be cautious shopping and buying toys. Our 14 month old and 6 month old puppies could have been at safety risks with these toys had we not been home.Update: Our "power chewers" never have problems with toys at leo and Lucky's.... Please also feel free to follow other reviews and responses. You will see a common theme of the customer is always wrong, and this business is always right.

I needed a large hard case cat carrier. After trying the soft mess carriers from other stores which I found to be very flimsy and cheaply made I went to Pet Supplies and was pleasantly surprised to find a very nice large store which offered several hard case carriers at very reasonable prices. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. They even put the carrier together for me. I highly recommend this pet place!

The staff is super friendly and understanding. We took our dog Captain here to give him a bath at the self-wash station. We got lost on our way and arrived 5 pass when they close the washing area. The manager was super understanding and allowed us to wash him. The store is very clean and new. The women at the check out was very friendly and bubbly. I would definitely recommend this pet supplies plus to know anyone with a furry friend. Side note they close the self washing station an hour before the store closes so they can properly sanitize and clean that area.)

Today was my first time shopping at Pet supplies plus and Kasey was very helpful and very knowledgeable in the animal section!! I learned some new information about the reptiles and fish that they carry! I will most definitely come back! Thank you again Kasey for making my experience great!

Major fail. Not going back. Used to visit Sarasota location often. I bought a dogwash card from there, apparently other locations don't honor it!!! It's the same company!! So I went across the street to Leo and Lucky's where they treat you like family. Now that I've moved here, they lost a 8 year customer, so they could save a couple of bucks on the water. Some places are clueless to customer appreciation and service.

My son and I were shopping for some dog treats when he realized he dropped his birthday gift card in one of the aisles. We searched the store and left hopeless that it would be found. The staff searched for the giftcard even after we left and they called to tell me it was found!!! My son was so happy and we are both thankful for the wonderful staff to take time to help find it. Not only is the staff great- the store has wonderful weekly sales and great prices! Definitely check this place out for all your pet needs!

My dog recently got spayed and I bought a recovery vest for her at this store. When I bought this vest I asked if I was able to return it. The manager said yes as long as the calming disc was not opened. I went home, put it on my dog, and decided this was not going to be a fit for her. I went to return it a week or two later and the manager said that they couldn’t return it because of the dog hair on it. This I can absolutely understand. However, I said “This is a recovery suit for post surgery. Aren’t you going to damage it out?” She said no this is something that they are going to resell but I’m welcome to go home wash it, bring it back, and try again. I’ve worked in retail before and anytime we would get post surgery or medical items returned we had to immediately damage them out due to health and safety concerns. I figured this was across the boards for both human and pets which is why I tried to return it.I’m not upset that it didn’t get returned but what I think is disappointing and unsanitary is that if my dog would not have shed this return would have been processed and my recovery suit that again is meant for dogs post surgery would have been returned to the shelves. At some point you have to take a step back and consider how unsanitary that is and how that can affect the next dog that would have gotten it. I would have never bought my recovery suit from this store for health and safety concerns if I would have known they were just going to to put it back on the shelf. I recommend supporting Leo and Luckys as I do not trust Pet Supplies Plus to put unsanitary items back on their shelves.

Be really safe with what you buy the “vets Best” products are not appropriately labeled As well as approved for all animal use and they may make your dogs ears bleed. The entire company will deny ever taking responsibility for any harm or discomfort to your pet. DO NOT USE “vets best” that company does not care about your dogs, well-being or health

***I WANT TO THANK THE OWNER FOR TAKING TIME TO REPLY TO MY REVIEW. But no sense in having to guess what the return policy is for the day, liberal or not, when there is no guessing at Leo & Luckys, Petco or Petsmart.Moved to the area a few months ago. Stopped by and found Paul the owner to be very helpful and knowledgeable on my initial visit. The groomer Cece was exceptional. I truly intended on making this store my go to pet store until today. Recently lost my pup after 11 years. Rescued a new puppy to share that love with and purchased some treats for him. I incorrectly assumed that like all the other local pet stores, they had the return guarantee. If your dog doesn’t like it, bring the bag back and you will get a full refund. Not at this store. Had the owner’s wife handled the situation differently, I would have chucked it up to error and moved on. But after giving me attitude, as one of her employees looked on, she then excused it by telling me she’s had a bad day when I clapped back. I was very surprised when she shared she was the owner. It starts at the top. So I returned the unopened treats and went across to Leo & Luckys where Liv not only provided excellent customer service, but assured me of their return guarantee which applies to foods and treats. Pet Supplies Plus DOES NOT offer that. Spent $150 for my new puppy at Leo & Lucky’s and felt appreciated. I’d rather spend a little more and get better service. With the customer service I received and their guarantee, especially at the puppy stage, Leo & Luckys will be my new go to for my new pup.

Had appointment for 2:00, dropped our dog off right on time.Receive a text message at 4:00 stating my dog would not be doneuntill 7:00PM. Very poor customer service no apologies just said they were running behind. I have never had this bad of experience and have had many pets. Would never recommend this place to anyone who loves their pets.

We purchased several rubber dog toys for our 40 pound golden doodle puppyWithin 30 minutes of playing with them they were destroyed keep in mind he still has his baby teethWhen I brought them back (2 hours later ) they told me I could not return them because they could not put them back on the shelves????They are obviously made of poor quality to only last 30 minutes with a small dog playing with themThey should’ve issued a store credit all would’ve been good instead I told the girl I would leave a review and she thanked me smirkingYou may want to think about removing them from your shelves since they are of terrible quality and your customers are just wasting their hard earned money in your store while you smirkWe will draft up an email and send it to the corporate headquarters maybe somebody with some common sense will understand thisWill also post on several community pagesto make sure nobody else gets ripped offI guess this is how they welcome people to their new storeUpdate went into the store tonight and asked one of the associates of this toy was appropriate for my seven month old golden doodle and one year old golden retriever and they said absolutelyI then asked the associate what type of formal training they have had and she said none really so the owner is full of lies and has no accountability “Big Tug rope dog toy” garbage

We took Stella to the groomers today and she was groomed by CC and others! This was Stella’s first time to the groomers EVER and we were really nervous because she is all PUPPY and gets scared often. She looks amazing and the groomers did an amazing job being patient with her and they were super understanding. This helps put us at ease to continue dog grooming and to keep using your services! I mean look at how happy she is!

Such a friendly, customer service oriented place . I’ve been coming to get my dogs groomed since they opened and by far the best I’ve experienced, and today my large dog escaped his collar and ran out to the parking lot. The gentleman employee jumped into action and helped me get him and then helped me pay and walked me to my car. I was embarrassed and overwhelmed, but this employee went above and beyond. Truly appreciate the customer service and friendliness.

I walked into the store today with my underage little brother to get a new bulb for my Tortoise on Christmas Eve and a older man who looks to be the owner looked right at his security (young girl) and said “watch these kids” inferring to her that me and my little brother were there to steal something . Not only is that disrespectful, But it is judgmental and racist and for a owner to treat a customer like this in front of family from out of town is absolutely disgusting and wrong. We then went on to tell my 26 family member who all shop at this location and all of us agree to now shop at leo&luckys for now on. If you want to assume that so be it but for you to say that in front of me and make my baby brother feel out of place …. Wow .. im a 30 year old man NOT A KID. Nor am i a thief smhRESPONSE:Are you kidding me ? You seriously are going to say this didn’t happen and im making this up?! I WISH it didn’t happen but sadly i have no reason to lie . Take accountability for your own actions . The man who said this was a tall older man , in shape and short gray hair with glasses . I didn’t expect an apology but I definitely didn’t expect denial. Pet Supplies Plus recently opened in Parrish Commons, and I can’t say enough good things about the store and its incredible team. I have always been greeted with warmth and enthusiasm when I enter the store. The owners and the grooming staff have been fantastic with my Bernedoole offering expert advice with his difficult hair situation. I highly recommend stopping in with your pet to check out the store.

when you buy stuff based off of a staffs recommendation and get home and realized they were completely wrong but offer no kind of credit/refund/exchange it really sucks. out over $200, no type of consumer security. I will never buy anything from this store again especially when there’s a lot more options locally. 0/5 stars.edit* manager worked out some kind of agreement with my husband.

Been coming here ever since they’ve opened and it is always a great experience! The entire staff are very helpful and friendly. The store is immaculate and always fully stocked! Highly recommend the cat nip cigar toy as our cat is obsessed and can’t play with it enough! PSP has been such a great addition to Parrish!

Went for dog wash today and, as expected, it was immaculately clean. Elevated, open-side wash station makes the process easy. Individual bathing rooms at other pet stores are great but can be confining. Open air stations here are spacious. Shampoo, adjustable water temperature, blower and plentiful towels gave good result. Apron available too so you don't take a bath with your dog! $40 for 5 washes is a great deal. Super friendly staff and great selection of food, treats, and supplies for all kinds of pets.

The no return policy is a no for me! There are much better options for pet supplies in the area. We will stick with Leo and Lucky's as they will return even open food that my picky pup dislikes, with a smile! And they have much more knowledge of pets and FOR SURE they are friendly unlike the management here. The management here needs some customer service skills. It is very unfortunate because we were so excited about having another pet store in the area! Would not recommend!!!

I purchased dog bones for the first time at this store. My dog hated them and wouldn't come near them. I tried returning them, either for a refund or credit, and they refused. They instead wanted me to buy something else and give me a discount. I have never heard of this before. Any pet store I've been to or online store offers a full money back guarantee if an animal doesn't like it. I'll never shop here again. Im so disappointed.

I want to start by saying that the store is very nice and I buy most of my dogs needs from here. The staff is very nice and I am always greeted when walking into the store. I decided to get my dog groomed here and have to say that was not a good decision at all. I explained to the groomer what I wanted and was very disappointed when my dog got home. They did call me and say they could not trim her legs/paws as she was thrashing around and they were afraid she would hurt herself, which was fine with (didn’t understand though because I get my dog groomed a lot and have never been told that) but is what it is. It was the cut over all, very uneven, shaved shorter in some spots than others. I asked that they make her hair on her face and head shorter, still very long. Definitely will not be using their grooming service again.

This location has just recently opened and it was my first time ever visiting a Pet Supplies Plus.This location offers pet washing and grooming. They also sell a variety of reptiles, small animals like Guinea pigs, and a surprisingly wide variety of fish.There are tons of pet supplies for all creatures great and small. Lots of dog food and a few aisles of cat food.They also offer a membership.I came in for some cat food and snacks. Grab what I needed after browsing the store. In and out in 10 minutes or less.The employees are very friendly and the store was very clean.
