I’ve always been pleased when I’ve come in this store, but never had an experience to write home about.Today there was only one employee working, unsure of why. But Mari deserves a raise!!! She was doing EVERYTHING by herself, had a smile on her face the whole time, and was making sure everyone got their questions answered and everything they needed.

Great pet supplies store. We had looked everywhere for indestructible chew toys for our teething puppy and had a difficult time finding truly stellar ones until we found Pet Supermarket. They had by far the largest variety of Kong Extreme toys. Our dog loves them and enjoys chewing on them without any damage. I highly recommend Kong Extreme( from a reputable source like PS) and definitely recommend this shop for selection. Friendly staff!

We are here on vacation from NC.Went in to get our pup some toys to bring back home with us, Greg the manager was so nice! Very friendly and professional. The rest of the staff was also nice and helpful.Talked to me about the kitties they have for adoption and what the fee covered (my daughter fell in love with ”Sissy” while I was shopping).He said it made him so happy that Sissy was coming around and being more affectionate..she came in on Saturday from a feral situation and wouldn’t really interact with people.She was letting my daughter pet her, closed her eyes, rolled around in the cage for her to keep petting her!You could genuinely tell he cared about his store and the customers!

Had to wait for service, I can understand being short handed due to hurricane but please. Poor selection of fish and please think twice before you buy as I was trying to do a return for a fish tank filter I ended up not needing and they told me to come back later in a few hours that they don't have money to give me a return. Sure as hell wasn't like that when they took my money. I would not recommend this place as I've been sitting here patiently waiting so I don't miss my return and don't drive back to Fountain on a wasted trip and no money back. I miss the one in Panama City. I will not be back to this overpriced store for anything ever! VIP my butt!UPDATE:Three hours later I got my money back for the return!

I have gone to Pet Supermarket about 5 times . I will say they are always helpful with questions on dog food, professional, friendly. The prices are right in line with Pet Smart which is where I went for grooming in the past and to purchase supplies for my dog.

Went here to get aquatic snails for my fish tank. PetSmart in Pier Park didn't have any and their entire aquatic section had ick. If you need fish, go to this Pet Supermarket. They had a lot of variety and all the fish looked happy and lively. My snails were also happy and lively, and so were the employees. Very nice store.

My dogs are a huge part of my life, and as such, I always go the extra mile to keep them healthy and happy. After meeting and talking with Aly today I quickly learned that I could be doing more to meet their nutritional needs.Instead of merely answering my initial question, Aly cheerfully took the time to ascertain pertinent details specific to my dogs and proceeded to invest me with a concise but thorough education with respect to their diverse nutritional requirements.She recommended which foods would best fit their needs and actually broke down almost every single ingredient listed on the bag. I really appreciate that she took a genuine interest and spent time with me to ensure that I left her store armed with a solid understanding and the correct food.Oh, this is huge, we all want our K9 companions to live forever but we unfortunately have to settle for as long a possible. As such, until today, in my uninformed mind, a “senior dog” to me would have been 13 years of age and up. I was shocked to find out that my boy was in fact already considered a senior at the age of 9. 😲 I now know the importance of this given a reduction in protein requirements coupled with kidney function and the addition of joint supplements in higher quality food tailored specifically for senior dogs.Previously, I had only shopped for dog food at a larger chain store where, if one had a question regarding dog food, a standard answer from a 20-something employee might be, “check isles 12-18 and take your pick”. 🙄Thank you again Aly for helping and educating me today so that I can now take even better care of my companions. You are a true asset to your establishment and you now have a customer for life. It goes without saying that both Diesel & Dixie May devoured every single last morsel of their new food. 🐾 Thank you! Thank you!

we walked in 30 minutes before the closet to get some stuff for our new pup we had JUST gotten 20 minutes prior. we got a couple toys and a good collar and then stood in the food aisle kind of lost. a worker came up to us and told us about the new pet discount!! 20% off 4 items, and a free bag of dog food! he was SO a helpful, gave us so many good recommendations, and even gave our pupper some treats to try. we will definitely always be using this store now!

Dakota was more than helpful when we showed up 5 minutes until closing after looking everywhere for a vailed chameleon and he even stayed late to help us with everything. Very knowledgeable and very professional!!! Great experience!!!

USED to be the best store on the beach, now all the employees are miserable and the only thing that matters there is how much one can brown nose their district manager. Very poor business practices and won’t be shopping here again.

The magical experience that going into this pet supermarket was unreal. Going into this pet store was an experience I never thought I would get there. Gary and the other associates were fun patient polite and knowledgeable. They understood what we were there to do and far exceeded our expectations in every way possible. I will go to get all my pet wants taken care of!

The level of customer service received was one that I have never seen before. The supervisor 'Greg/Gary's was very rude. He straight out told me that I was a liar, he couldn't even look me in the eyes and he walked away while I was seeking help. I will never, EVER do business with Pet Supermarket again especially this one here on the beach! I'll be sure to let other know the level of service they will receive when they visit this store.

I was in line going to spend about 150.00 on my pets for treats and flea treatments. But I had to listen to the manager tell a customer she needed to bring a water sample to get a refund on one fish, even though the rest of the fish are fine. Don't shop there, if the need that 4 dollars so bad that you have to jump through hoops. Pooooooor service.

this place is so fun! gary is the absolute best. he let my friends and i hold the animals and was super informational and professional. if we weren’t on vacation, we would have definitely walked out with a new pet. would love to visit again. 10/10!

Gary is extremely helpful, he deserves a raise! He helped me with all of my pet needs, while training people and cashing customers out. I will definitely be back! This store is sooo much nicer than petsmart.

The gentleman who works here was incredibly knowledgeable about cats and helped me immensely in my search for the right cat food for my cat and how to transition her to soft food. He was humorous and so helpful as he always is!However, I was exchanging a cat food that was very expensive that my cat didn’t like. When I bought it I made sure I could exchange it if my cat didn’t like it. So when the woman I initially asked to help me acted like I was trying to steal with her bad attitude, I can say that I was very disappointed. I was within the 30 say window but she treated me like I was a thief and not the loyal customer I’ve been for years. Especially considering I have spent hundreds of dollars every month for four years on pet supplies at this store for my Large animal family.Your female clerk needs to learn what customer service should be and not treat regular and loyal clients like they can’t be trusted. Just ridiculous and I’m considering shopping elsewhere. If it wasn’t for the man who helped me at the end and saved the experience, I’d give a one star review.

Horrible experience. Ordered online . Manager canceled order by mistake then tried selling 5 lb bag of food for full price. He was very rude and wouldn't correct order .tried humiliation in front of other customers. I had to leave with no product. Then the tattooed greasy pants sagging manager yelled don't come back your not welcome. Customers service will not take calls .

Store was very clean! Associates on duty were very helpful in their assistance. Regardless of how you feel about pet stores, it is great to know that the staff keeps the place in pristine condition. Prices are high, as expected for a new store but did have a lot of options to choose from. Would question if a value shopper for the same comparable product could be found at another store for a better price. Service Sells! 5 stars given for store, cleanliness, associates, and organization of products.

Good little pet store on Panama City Beach side of the bridge. The store was clean and all of the Live animals and fish were in good condition. Their selection of fish was great. They had some Killifish and Green barbs that I hadn't seen elsewhere in the area. Their dog food was reasonably priced but not the cheapest in the area. The staff was very attentive and I did not feel like I was ignored. I will be going back to visit them and purchase supplies and fish from time to time. Their other location is pretty good as well.

It was my first time in Pet Supermarket, and I was looking for a new food for my #1 dog who means the world to me. The staff were above and beyond in helping me pick the right brand that I felt comfortable to feed my baby. My dog is treated just like everyone else in the house, if we drink artisan water so does, he :). Pet Supermarket was exceptionally clean, easy to navigate, and I had no wait time while checking out. I highly recommend Pet Supermarket if you live in Panama City Beach or if on vacation to this beautiful part of Florida!

They always friendly, the store is clean and well organized. They have a little something for everything. Prices off the shelf are on par with most chains but there is ALWAYS a 10% discount online you can download to your phone and with reward points and the buy 10 get 1 free on dog food you actually beat most prices even on the internet.

Kelsey and Heather were very helpful with all our questions about bunnies. Store was very clean and organized. Very nice staff. Parking was a bit busy because of the cafe serving breakfast next door. Overall great experience.

I Love to shop at Pet Supermarket, and I miss the 23rd Street Store. But, since Hurricane Michael, I understand why it takes a little bit longer to rebuild a Wonderful Business like this one! My 13 year old Chihuahua just Loves to look at the 'Critters'! The Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly to everyone! Their prices are very reasonable, too.💕🐾💕🐾💕🙏🐾💕🙏🐾
