This was a last minute find for us along our travels exploring the Big Bend area. The location near the beaches and springs as well as all things nature is superb. We were able to get a beautiful little site (22) on the beach along the river. I loved the breezes, the stunning bathhouse and well-run, but small and quiet campground. This is a family run, friendly and clean little spot with a pool, Pier for fishing and great sunsets over the river. It was very quiet with friendly campers when we were there. It is located next a bridge so there is some noise, but nothing extreme. It is not a state park, but it is a nice, family run campground. We paid $74 for the night.

Lovely little campground. Yes, sites are close together but no different than every other campground in the area. Quiet, clean and beautiful views of the bay. Great walking/biking path just outside the entrance. We loved the option to upgrade the Internet for $15 for a week! We were able to do work calls and watch TV at night. Staff and guests were so friendly!

Our 8-day stay at this park during our 2024 winter trip from Michigan was truly enjoyable. The area of Florida where it's located had a charming northern Michigan feel, which we appreciated for its slower pace and natural surroundings. While the park was clean, we felt that it could benefit from some updates. Overall, it was a pleasant stay."

The surrounding area is stunning. Really, it’s what you’re getting when you stay. I picked this particular RV park for that reason. There isn’t much else around and have to drive a good distance for groceries or to do anything else. I was very disappointed at the RV park itself, particularly for the amount paid. The sites are super close to each other. I have a vintage 16ft travel trailer and could reach out my window and touch both trailers on either side. No real place to take your dog… And we all travel with ours. The washers and driers barely work. There are 3 of each. One drier is broken. The other two never get your clothes dry. The shower/bathroom was straightened up, but was never properly cleaned the whole two weeks I was there- clumps of hair remained in the same spot as on arrival. Gross… The website also listed amenities that they did not have. The biggest disappointment being that it listed a playground that was not there. This was the deciding factor between this location and another with my child being with us. He was pretty upset by the false advertising. Advertise appropriately, please.

Nice place, 4 min from the beach (dogs accepted on leash). Salt Pool not heated (at 70.8° F). Love beeing near the bay!!!! Dogs parc is super perfect !Travel trailers too close, but for few days doesn't matter...Bicycles trails everywhere!Nice place for fishing!☆☆☆Things to improve: the resort should be more strict about loud music, specially because some people really exaggerate the volume every day !!😠😠😠I recommand this place!

WoW WoW WoW!!! What a great campground and a wonderful experience.. After a long day on the bike I stumbled upon this Camp. I was exhausted and pretty beat up and I'm sure I didn't look very good since I've been riding a bicycle from Louisiana heading to Crystal River. Although I didn't have a reservation they went out of their way to make sure I got a spot. Everything I needed was right there, laundry good hot shower and a beautiful sunset over the water. Oh and white squirrels lol. Funny thing is earlier that day I had posted a thing about how it is spring time and I've been smelling Jasmine in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. and when I stayed in New Orleans at a friend's house , his wife's guitar was made by a company named Jasmine. I asked the woman who was running the camp her name and she said it was Jasmine. Coincidence I think not. If you're ever in the area I highly recommend this campground. 😎 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cannot say enough good things about this place. We stayed 4 nights and It was peaceful and beautifully situated, teeming with aquatic wildlife. We stayed in the middle of summer and it wasn’t very busy- lots of open spaces available. We purchased a fishing pole from the cute little shop on-site and fished off the pier. The grounds are well kept and staff was helpful and also respectful of our privacy. We liked the seafood restaurant across the street ans the little convenience store close by too. Can’t wait to visit again.

We stayed on the water and had amazing views, gentle breeze and beautiful weekend. Bathrooms were amazing and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. I scheduled my next trip there and i am excited about doing it again. Not far from carrabelle, alligator point or bald point state park. Boat ramp just over the bridge from the campground and very nice seafood restaurant directly across the street.

The bay water front sites can't be beat for sunsets! There is a big demand for them, so a pop in reservation like ours probably won't get you one. We really enjoyed this friendly campground! Their staff is great. Think many stay for months at a time and come back yearly. Campers help campers here, too! The sites are very close together in the middle area of the CG, but workable. Our spur of moment reservation didn't allow for setting up a front patio with chairs, not enough room. That wouldn't keep us from coming back, though, for a few days' stay in this quaint coastal area. Angelo's Seafood Restaurant next to them is amazing! Thanks!

Great little rv park on Ochlockonee Bay. Very quite park. Nice fishing dock. Grounds are kept up. Nice swimming pool, 🏊♂️ shuffleboard, poles it looks like for a net - I see many folks launch their kayaks. Pet friendly - please pick up after your pet - don't ruin the pet friendly park. 🙂 The office and ground personnel are great - always working hard. Restaurant across highway as well as a mini market. The campground has a shop in the office. Less than an hour out of Tallahassee and just over 2 hours to Panama Beach. Beautiful biking paths, start just up the road from rv park. So many great sites to see from here. We have been out to alligator point, traveled through Tate's Hell forrest, St. Marks lighthouse. EL Jarisco Mexican is 1.5 miles good food and pricesSeen the springs in Panacea - ok its just a simple concrete blocks are the springs with a short history board. We have traveled the forgotten coast. Nice laid back little fishingtown.

What a lovely spot. The front office has a little store with cold drinks, gifts shop, shirts and things like that. There is a little pool in the center of the park next to a laundry room that is coin operated. The waterfront sites are so nice, the view of the water and the bridge in the distance are beautiful and peaceful. There is a little white beach area that is clean and the sand is perfect for kids to play with their sand toys. It’s a quiet spot, about 20 minutes from the grocery store. Nearby attractions include the Gulf Specimen Aquarium.

This is an awesome campground with a great staff! Everyone was so helpful and nice! The location is great and having a little beach and fishing pier was convenient. They also have horseshoes, volleyball, a small swing set, and shuffleboard. We have a big rig 40’ and we were able to stay right on the beach! We did utilize the pool or bathrooms, but they are available. Our dog loved watching all the birds and other dogs! We would love to come back for longer!

This place is a real gem. I have yet to find a campground with so many amenities for such a great price. The pool was quaint and very clean. My daughter absolutely loved the playground. The sunsets and water views were absolutely to die for. Most negative reviews were focused on the close proximity of the campers in small sites but I totally disagree. The sites aren't necessarily large but they're not super cramped either. Also, beaches were between 7 and 15 minutes away. We ended up going to the state park most days and absolutely loved it. 10/10 would recommend.

What a great campground! Our rig is small, so we were lucky to get a tight spot right on the beach. Bathrooms are very nice, and the laundry room was great as well. Staff couldn't have been nicer! We will definitely be back for a longer stay next year. The view and the sunsets are simply fabulous!

I've been here several times and love it. Everyone is so nice. All full hookups I think. The sunsets are spectacular. They have recently renovated the bathhouse. Very nice inside, now with doors on the shower stalls instead of curtains. Rudy told me today they will be draining the pool, painting, and changing out the plumbing.

Great little place on the bay. Most of the sites are really close together, but that's to be expected for the location. Nice fishing pier with a wash station and rod holders. We went in October and it was very quiet and peaceful. It's located in a beautiful part of Florida, with tons of stuff for nature lovers. You have to drive a ways for a good swimming beach, but the drive itself is awesome because it's so pretty! We will definitely be back.

Very beautiful scenery. Great location. Love the nearby bike path. Kids enjoyed swimming in the bay. Delicious local dining within walking distance. Very pretty bath house that seems to have been recently renovated (review written 4/2021). Nice fishing pier. Small playground and a sand volleyball court are neat amenities. Staff at the store was very sweet.Sites however are TINY. On some sites you wouldn't be able to fully open your awning without it touching the camper on the lot/site next to you. Small gnats were bothersome and painful bites. But the gas station across the street sold a spray called "no gnats" that helped. Regular bug-spray wasn't doing the trick.
