Pretty good. We had a huge party of 12 people. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is because :1. the grouper…in the picture below was $35 and the whole red snapper was $37. And the Whole Red Snapper had 3x as much for a serving.2. the steak was very fatty3. the cheese grits were definitely missing something.4. prices were awfully high for this area. Total spend was over $800.00!!!

Great Seafood! Always fresh and delicious! They have a drink there called the Pannacea Pain Killer, I highly recommend it. Great staff, friendly and attentive. The menu has so many options! Something for everyone.Parking: Plenty of parking and handicap spaces near the buildingWheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is located on the second floor. For those not wanting or able to climb stairs, they have an elevator from the parking lot. Very wheelchair friendly.

Angelo's Seafood Restaurant is a culinary gem with a view that feels utterly priceless. The combination of excellent service and a menu featuring fresh, delicious seafood creates a dining experience that truly stands out. The dedication to quality made my one-hour drive from Tallahassee entirely worthwhile, as every bite lived up to the restaurant's stellar reputation. From the moment you arrive to the last delectable taste, Angelo's Seafood Restaurant guarantees a memorable and satisfying journey for seafood enthusiasts.

I hate to leave a bad review for this place because we actually have enjoyed it before. We dined last Saturday for a special occasion, our daughters graduation from FSU. There was a wait, which we were fine with. They seated us in the time expected. We got drinks at the bar while we waited and they were good. We were seated, brought water etc. the waitress even brought my husband a sample of the gumbo. We passed on it, it was bit too salty. But then we placed our orders. An hour and 40 minutes later we still had no entrees. I went to the hostess stand to find out what the issue was, they said, "are you sure you've been waiting that long?" And yes, I was absolutely sure. My husband thought the waitress forgot to put our order in. The manager came over and asked us what she would like her to do about it, she said, "do you want your meal for free?" This made me pretty uncomfortable, there was no apology or admission of the error, they put it back on us to decide how we wanted it to be fixed. I felt put on the spot, I wasn't trying to get a free meal, I just wanted an explanation and possibly an apology. Our waitress said nothing, barely acknowledged us the rest of the evening, serving us silently. It was a disappointing evening for what was supposed to be a special night for my kiddo. They did take some of our bill off, but I just wanted someone to take responsibility for the mistake instead of making us feel like we were being unreasonable for complaining about almost a 2 hour wait for our food.

First time here. Sat outside on the deck which was very nice! Ordered the oysters Angelo’s style and they were superb!! Our dinners, Snapper Imperial and Grouper done Greek style were both delicious. I had the house dressing on my salad and it was perfect! Our server was very disappointing, ‘tho. We ordered the appetizer and I expressed my concern about our meal not coming out too soon, but our soups and salad were served with the app. Then she told us our dinners were ready but they could sit under the heat lamp if we needed more time, but that’s the last thing I would want. I was still eating and she brought our bill out, not even asking if we’d like dessert. I think her shift was over and she wanted to get out.

We ate outside because the view was Amazing! It was a bit cold but it's fine. Our server Faya was great. The drinks were really nice. The appetizers was amazing, everyone of them that we ordered had some crab meat on it and we loved it! All.of the seafood tasted very fresh and was juicy. Come here after you leave the beach for the best seafood in Panacea, Florida!Parking: Extremely large parking lot!Wheelchair accessibility: There's a elevator as well as a ramp!

We sat outside. It was beautiful. Our drinks and food were fantastic. The server made sure we had everything we needed, and checked back with us often. Our food was served in a timely manner, no extremely long wait.Prices here are higher than other places with equal food quality.I have never had a bad dining experience here.I will say that the blonde haired lady minding the cash register during my last visit was not like anyone I have ever encountered there before. She was the only negative person present. It's quite obvious that she does not like her job. She let's it show in every way, both to customers and fellow employees. I have never encountered her in this restaurant before. It would be nice if she has moved on before my next visit. It is not a good idea to have a person working front and center who has a negative attitude, and views the customers and her fellow workers as a pain in her neck. The person at the front is the first you see and the ladt you see. That person can make or break your whole experience. This one person was such a surprise to me. I've been going to this restaurant for well over 50 years. She's not going to stop me from coming, I enjoy being there, the food, and the atmosphere. The restaurant owners are good people, and their relatives were all good people, but this one lady, if left to continue to be as she was when my daughter and I were present, will probably turn off others, and they won't be back. They will not want to pay the prices at this restaurant if the biggest crab they have is the live one at the register!Vegetarian options: The greek salad is great! I love the salad dressing made in the restaurant. They will remove anything you do not want on your salad too. They offer a variety of side dishes and I have never had a bad one. The portions are generous.Parking: Parking is all around the restaurant entrance. It is often full, but if it is extremely crowded, you can park along the street. This is not usually a problem. There is generally ample parking. The walk from the parking spaces to the restaurant is only a short one. Driver's can pull up to the entrance, let prople out, and then go park, if necessary.Kid-friendliness: This is a family restaurant. Children are always going to be present. Many yourists dine here on vacation. If you don't want to dine near children, or large families that may get loud, make sure this is known up front, before being seated. The restaurant people will do their best to seat you in a place where you will be able to enjoy your dining experience.Wheelchair accessibility: They have handicapped parking, and an elevator for easy access.

My family of four sat outside and enjoyed the evening, the view and watched dolphins meandering in the bay. I normally do not like stuffed crab, however, their stuffed crab was great. Our server was wonderful and kept our drinks full. Susan, the bartender, made great drinks and was just THE BEST! The Panacea Painkiller is 👍 👍 I would definitely eat here again.

Angelo’s has a big reputation for great seafood. It doesn’t disappoint. The location on the water and decor throughout are both nice and well done. The furniture and tableware could be upgraded to be commensurate with the quality of the food. The service was solidly good but not great. The food was terrific. The Mahi was fresh, well prepared and presented. The flavor of the fish and the Greek toppings that I opted for was a real winner. The Greek salad was better than average but it wasn’t nearly as spectacular as salads I routinely enjoyed in Greece earlier this summer.Overall, this is a great seafood restaurant that will get my business whenever I am back in town.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Extensive menu featuring fresh fish dishes Tasty specials. Ample servings. Mixed drinks were good but not particularly strong; fairly priced. While many waterfront restaurants charge a premium for the view but don't deliver on the food, Angelo's serves up excellence on both fronts.

Made a reservation for 6:30, had to actually drive there the day before, since no one answers the phone. After waiting until 7:30 and watching everyone that came in after us get seated, including a group of 15, asked the manager who said " we don't take reservations unless the group is 10 or more" Which are group was 10 and probably why the hostess wrote down the name and party of 10 when we actually drove to the restaurant, the day before, to make the reservation. If you get by that fiasco, the food was good and a large portion. A little pricey.

This is a remarkable sea restaurant by the ocean with an astonishing view.. Though there is no urban lighting, so it is better to go before the sunset if you would like to sit outside and enjoy the view. It becomes dark and breezy after sunset.Food is very delicious and comes with a lot of variety. The one in the pictures is whole charbroiled snapper with fries and cheese grits as sides.Staff is exceptionally friendly! Feels like a family reunion haha.Would recommend 10/10!

This restaurant on the bay was packed so we sat outside, on the deck, overlooking the water. It was hot and windy, and there’s a lot of traffic going up and down the bridge. The server was sweet. She stated that she was new and brought crackers and butter in a small dish. I was little disappointed that it was wrapped crackers, not bread. We started with the mushrooms. There are only 3, but the dish does come with both white and red sauce as well as 3 slices of bread. It was delicious. After that, we ordered a ribeye, cheese grits, and green beans. It was all good.We finished our dinner with a slice of coconut cream pie and cheesecake. The coconut pie was bland. The bathrooms are super clean and there’s a gift shop on the way out. It is also a short drive to the gulf. I would recommend.

Nice ambience here. Restaurant sits over the bay, so you can sit outside under their covered deck and enjoy a nice sunset dinner. Food was good, the calamari was horrible. When you spend $16 for it as an appetizer, you would expect it to be tender, these were literally like chewing a thick rubber band. I love calamari, and most places I eat it, including Red Lobster it's very tender and flavorful. All 4 of us tried it, the other 3 wouldn't eat it. The one guy literally spit his out and threw it in the water. So I DON'T recommend it. Maybe it was a bad day, but it was a disappointment. Our daughter in-law took us here during our vacation to Florida. The other food was really good. I had the fried shrimp and oysters..delicious! My husband had the olive oil and garlic with angel hair pasta (they used linguine noodles though), my husband and daughter in-law liked it. Tea was SUPER weak, it was like drinking colored water...seriously.

I was excited to try out this restaurant based on feedback I received from other patrons. However, when I finally had the opportunity to visit, I was really underwhelmed. The atmosphere was very welcoming. Although our server was really sweet, she forgot about our table on multiple occasions. The food was just okay. It was quite pricey so I expected a fresh, savory meal with good portions. I was sorely disappointed. I have no need to return.Wheelchair accessibility: They provide an elevator and the restaurant has an open space to maneuver a wheelchair and other walking assistant tools.

Food 0/5We ordered the cooked Oysters- $30ish. I'm expecting these things presented with the shell and something akin to Oysters Rockefeller Panacea edition. What I got was dirty flat top (steak) flavored oyster mystery meat with onions and parsley flakes on top. BIG YIKES! The Huntsman in Tallahassee has 1000x better Oysters for the same price. You get less of them but the quality and presentation is unmatched and you'll actually be able to eat them & finish your plate. We took 2 sample bites each as a sanity check and left there post haste. Majority of the options on the menu are breaded/ fried and the only vegetable side option is green beans, which were the highlight of the entire meal and a great palate cleanser... Side salad was a standard Denny's salad, nothing noteworthy in substance or presentationService 5/5Waitress was nice, nothing bad to say here. She asked how we liked the food and I just said it wasn't at all what I was expecting.. I could've been more direct but we just wanted to leave.Atmosphere 5/5I like the wooden walls and beautiful mermaid & fish paintings all around. It's larger than it looks from the outside.Vegetarian options: Green beansDietary restrictions: Few non-breaded/ non- deep fried optionsParking: Many spots, gravel parking lotWheelchair accessibility: They have an elevator

We ate at Angelos last night while on vacation. We started off with the crab stuffed mushrooms which were to die for. Our waitress was sweet enough to provide us with recommendations. Shortly after we ordered our meals our waitress brought us the seafood gumbo with hush puppies, on the house, for our first visit. Let me tell you, it was more than amazing and our favorite item. My husbands broiled scamp imperial was one of the most fresh tasting fish I've ever tried. Overall an amazing experience with great staff.Kid-friendliness: Sweet staff to children, highchairs available, kid menuWheelchair accessibility: Stairs and elevator

After reading mixed reviews on Angelo’s we were a little hesitant to eat here, but I’m so glad we did. The staff was very friendly and inviting. Our waitress was amazing. Fun, friendly and very prompt service from beginning to end. The food was delicious and everything from our popcorn shrimp appetizer to our fried snapper and cheese cake dessert was cooked perfectly. And the views from the dining area are wonderful.

We ordered stuffed Grouper (without onions and tomatoes) with fries, and green beans, and broiled Grouper (without onion and house seasoning), with green beans and trim greek salad. I noticed the seasoning contained MSG so the chef switched gears and seasoned my fish with salt, pepper, and garlic. Everything tasted so good. We are grateful to the chef(s) for accommodating our preferences. Jade was our server and she was fantastic. The hostess was so kind and helpful. We will be back when we are in town again.
