Our family has been using Eckerd Pharmacy for 6 yrs. Initially they were the only local pharmacy to provide pill packs for our mother. We stayed with them despite our health insurance’s attempts to send us elsewhere. Their prices are competitive and we love the personal care we receive there.

After reading all the good reviews I recently switched to this pharmacy because it was local but I had such an Horrible experience here the guy named Jack who’s in charge he is rude and unethical i called asked for my medication he stated if I wanted my prescription I would have to pay a fee which I never had to pay before at any other pharmacy and I have insurance after I asked him to explain why he told me to find a new pharmacy so now I’m not allowed there I am going to look for an attorney for discrimination because I was discriminated against

Hands down this a wonderful pharmacy. My family have been doing business with there 2nd location that was in Apollo Beach years ago where I first meet Jack the owner and Amy . Unfortunately that location close down that's so close to my house. But there customer service and friendly staff makes all worth driving 25 miles on way to go get my medication.It's very nice to walk into this pharmacy and be acknowledged by your name.KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.

This pharmacy is such a nice, small town type of place to get scripts. The pharmacist always treats me kindly and answers any questions. I like supporting local, but I also appreciate the small town service we get with a friendly smile. The staff is nice too. They get scripts ready pretty quickly, and they have fulfilled many electronic scripts for myself and my child. Highly recommend. It is refreshing to have a kind pharmacist who is willing to answer questions etc. Also, he always gives me free calendars or sanitizers. I switched from Publix to here, I just feel the service is so much better than corporate Publix, at least in my experience. A+++ pharmacy.

Originally gave a better review but had to change it. This place is a joke. Besides the owner being rude many can and will confirm of his yelling. They fill the wrong prescriptions repeatedly. They up the dosage on medications WITHOUT Dr approval. Or go against what the Dr says so if they say use this he'll say no. They say a medicine is not covered by insurance WITHOUT actually checking with the insurance, they say they give coupons when they really don't it's just your copay and they take the credit. If you point out this error the owner and I quote "will not refill automatically if you want it again you can call in and wait for me to order when I want." The prices on their items are marked lower but ring up higher, items are used broken and high priced because they hope you won't notice. Stay away from here and save your money

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this Pharmacy. I am a regular now. When I 1st walked in they made me feel welcomed. Since then they call me by name and always have my medications in stock. When they don't they make sure they have it for e the next day. I tell all my friends about Palmetto Drug Mart! There prices are also better then other local Pharmacies.They even sell a lot of other great items, including $1.00 items that are so worth it!

I love Eckerds, I had to change from Publics in Ruskin due to them not having meds when due. I found Eckerds, talked to them and they made it so easy to have all my meds switched. They have delivery service (b4 gas prices went up so high it was twice a week) it is once a week now. They're friendly and try to get all meds put together for once a month. However, some meds just can't be that way depending on class ratings. I highly recommend 👌 Eckerds, they are in Palmetto, FL., and it's a bit of a drive with an V8, however I'm glad I found them. They are great and very helpful.S. Shotts

Check the Dates if you’re buying snacks! Every time I go in there all I see is expired snacks and if you tell the girls behind the counter they get snippy! If they can’t keep track of the dates on the snacks… I’m afraid to purchase and drugs because of their incompetence in safety in checking dates on products they sell!

The pharmacist and all of the staff are extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I bought a take home covid test as well as having the pharmacist administered covid test. They were friendly caring and when I left they actually gifted me some hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes. I was surprised and thankful

They are the best. They are personable, friendly, caring and they have free delivery. I would not go back to using the big chain drug stores. They are cheaper then anyone else and if they don't have it they will order it and have it the next day. There should be more small drug stores like them around. I have transferred all my prescriptions there.

I have switch all my rxs to Eckerds #102. Knowledgeable pharmacist and staff. Very kind and understanding. The scripts are processed quickly. I was just sick and tired of the rudness and constant delays at CVS! I will drive a little longer for the best customer service ever.

Don't believe these reviews. The owner is not very nice. He told me that I need to feel more meds. though him or I wasn't going to be able to use them. I take 4 different ones a day. One is a pain pill I get as I have had 3 back surgery's and looking at number 4. He then asked me why I don't get my pain patches from him anymore. I said because I can't pee when I am on them. Something he shouldn't of asked me in the first place. Find somewhere else to go. Maybe a good old American owned store.

The best drug store around. I am a Cancer patient and they are so kind to me. They know my name by me just walking in the door. They are so friendly. They also delivery if you need it. The have the best prices around for prescriptions as well. Why go anywhere else?? They are the best!!

Great service and knowledgeable staff! Particularly a technician there named Chris Johnson who seemed to have great knowledge and answers and prompt service for all of my needs. I'll never go back to big chain pharmacies again!

The folks at Palmetto Durg are always personable, and extremely helpful.They stock things that are hard or even impossible to get elsewhere, and they even deliver! They take BC/BS and other insurance plans, regardless of whether your drug plan says that you can only use a given store.

Excellent pharmacy and staff. Always willing to go the extra distance to help. I am heartbroken to have to change pharmacy's due to a change in insurance, as no others will even begin to measure up.

For a small pharmacy they give you the small town feel of customer service and excellent pharmacy if you are a person that needs medication and wants more of the one-on-one consultation from a pharmacist that you only get from back in the day

This one pharmacist there not the owner a Caucasian pharmacist very good very professional .the other pharmacist owner not sure if his race doesn't matter he is very rude very disrespectful yelling at his employees in front of customers very uncomfortable the positives is that the quick that's good very uncomfortable at times and I cannot recommend this Pharmacy in good faith

The owner Jack the man with the dot in the middle of his head is rude and only cares about money not his product this pharmacy dispensed me expired medication I needed to have my insurance called Jack got an attitude and I took my business elsewhere. Don't waste your time here.

After going there for a couple years and filling my 30 day scripts there,the Indian owner refused to fill my pain med prescription unless I gave him all my prescriptions that I get mail order through my insurance
