Great campground! Family friendly and fun If you’re looking for peace and quiet this may not be the one for you. Quiet time is not until 11:00PM and it gets busy on weekends. The grounds are well kept if you visit PLEASE DO NOT LITTER! This is a beautiful place! Yes water bottle caps, bread ties and beer caps ARE LITTER!Staff and office personnel are friendly and welcoming enjoy this piece of south Florida beauty with respect.

The worst customer service. I have been going to this place for 40 years and never been treated as badly as this weekend by staff. The lady is the office Debbie is so rude. I will not be coming back here. She is rude and disrespectful and as well as the guy sitting out front that also works there. The disrespect was crazy. Our power on our site didn’t work messed up the electrical in our camper. We know it wasn’t our camper our neighbor hooked to ours to see if it would work and it didn’t work for them and the campground acted like it was nothing and wouldn’t fix it we couldn’t even stay the night cause we had no power. Now have to replace stuff in the camper because of it. We will not be back and we come many times a year.

From Susan meeting us in the office, to help learning to back our camper it was a wonderful visit at Fisheating Creek Campground. The campground was spotless! The bathroom was clean and pleasant. Each area has a bathroom facility. We want go back when it's warmer and use the canoeing and bird trail as well as the swimming lake.Walkability: Plenty of space to walk around and explore.

Fisheating Creek. Good camping. Had a great weekend. A bit crowded. The only thing was my daughter was approached by a woman who was extremely high and accused her and her friends of ruining her high because she thought they were talking about her. Other campers extremely nice. Great places in the park for remote camping. Canoe rentals, fishing, and kids can bike ride all over the park.

Fisheating Creek, off 27, has always been a favorite of mine, however the hurricanes have destroyed some of the charm, and today there were holds of people, camping, kayaking and canoeing. But still a nice place.

This campground has really grown in popularity since my last visit over ten years ago. The bathroom was kept clean and the night was peaceful. At first canoes were not available to rent but, later, they were available, thankfully.

Fiseating Creek Outpost is Managed by Cape Leisure Corporation. It is managed for FLORIDA FISH and WILDLIFE CONSERVATION COMMISSION.This is not a hotel not so no room rateingsThey offer campsites for tents, trailers and RV's. The RV sites have a concrete slab for parking and offer 30/50 amp service, water and sewer. I have been going there for the past 3 years during the Christmas/NewYear week.Great walking area, canoes and kyaks for available for rent and the lakes are big enough for all and fishing is allowed. Campfire rings provided. Additionally they have a nice campstore.Well worth the visit but you need to get your reservations in early because this is a popular park. it is about 19 miles from LaBelle for shopping, eating and more.

Camped here for two nights back in the Spring, and it was a great place to camp. The place is very big but we had no trouble finding our site towards the southeast end of the campground. Some of the spots were bigger and better than others, but ours was perfect despite not being on the water, and there was enough room for three tents. The nature trail was partially flooded and bits of it were overgrown, but it was still enjoyable. Lots of gators and birds to be seen! Went canoeing as well, but the water was very shallow and dried up about a mile either way from the ramp (still made for a good 2 and a half hours of canoeing though so I can't complain). The campground is fairly close to US 27 and active railroad tracks so it can get a bit noisy, but it wasn't really a problem. There was a movie night on the Saturday we were there as well. Staff was friendly and the bathhouse was cleaned often.Noteworthy details: There is a camp store supplying essentials at the entrance.Despite being next to railway tracks there were no more than four to six trains per day, and they were all during daylight hours. Canoeing and hiking are must-do's.

The campground is well kept and the staff is friendly and helpful. The park rangers/security (or as some call them Rent a Cop) do a great job attempting to enforce the rules of the park. Campers that do not follow the rules are quick to complain about the staff, however they are doing the job they are paid to do. This is a great place to camp or come for a day trip to enjoy the beautiful park and amenities. Follow the rules and you will definitely enjoy your stay here.

Location is everything. This is a family campground so expect kids running around, lots of traffic, and music until 10pm quiet time.Nearby activities: Kayaking!

I hadn’t been to the Camp ground in over 10 years, when we pulled in I was pleasantly surprised. The park had really been spruced up and offered Oak canopy camp sites which were all paved and level. The lake was a nice place to cool off and there were really cool places to ride bikes. There is also a raised boardwalk through the swamp area (very cool) it leads to walking paths.

The shuttle trip was simple and organized well. The weather was good in late November so that was convenient. It took us (2 parents/2 teen boys) 3 to 3.5 hrs. So we knew but it was a long time to paddle. We did get separated which was fine with 2 kayaks and one canoe. Food and water break is a good plan. Lots of gators were exciting to see. Make sure phone is charged and in watertight case. The beauty is like nowhere else. Little kids may not last well.. because of the length. I was done too.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The canoes and kayaks are in good shape and the life jackets are practically new. The creek is beyond beautiful. I lost track of how many gators we saw. It was an absolute amazing trip. Words can’t describe it. I will definitely paddle here again.

Great camp ground. Pick a site furthest from the highway to avoid hearing traffic at night.

I stayed here about a year ago and LOVED IT! My work needed me in the area for a week so I took advantage of the campground. Unfortunately I arrived after dark. An after hours member was nice enough to let me in and showed me to my location. 2 Coworkers staying with me, we had a GREAT TIME. Leaving at 8AM getting back around 6 it was always dark. This place is BEAUTIFUL but never got to see it in the daylight until day 5. I went out to enjoy the scenery when their Rent-A-Cop on a golf cart ruined my day. It went from a casual inquiry about where my wrist band was (the after hours guy never mentioned I had to wear a wrist band). She began to insist that I go check in. I explained I was leaving in the morning, I've been here 5 days with no wrist band and never got to see the park in the daylight so I don't want to spend the only 30 minutes of my last day with daylight standing in line to register. She stated that I should have known to check in even though a staff member let me in..?? I explained my work hours and Their office opens at 9 and closes at 5 so even if I knew, my work hours would have made it impossible. She basically gave me an irritated pass to "Go do your thing Sir". 20 minutes later she see's me at my RV and made it a point to ruin the rest of my visit by "Thanking me for making her job harder" and eventually told me it's only "Common Decency" to check in. I'm not saying I won't give the campground another visit but I wish they would teach basic people skills to staff in an authoritative position.

First time coming to Fisheating Creek Campground after my neighbor recommend it. We had a great time. Perfect for families with children. My kids were able to ride their bikes and scooters while we watched without any worries. Thankful for this weekend to reset in my beautiful state.

Best campground we ever being !! Lots of wildlife and activity’s for the kids . Showers very clean . Nice hiking and canoeing. Campsites very spacious and plenty space between all of them so you don’t really hear you neighbors . Swimming lake looks safe . Hiking it’s about 2 miles I believe! And it’s beautiful we walked with 3 kids 10 /8 / 2 years old and they enjoyed. About the wildlife we have seen turtles, dears , armadillos, alligators , owl’s, raccoons, multiple birds, fish , rabbits and something big that we have no idea what it was at night (we like to believe that was a small bear 😂) . The store have everything and not expensive at all . !! Nice place to ride your bicycle!! And to finish the stuff that works there it’s amazing super friendly and amazing with kids !!!! Can’t wait to be back
